After a brief scare, Zeke snatched the contract and read it quickly. The only important piece of information he caught was the warning: once he loses his last penny, his experience ends. But if he's willing to turn his possessions into money, the game can go on. Still, there’s a small rule that could change the way one looks at these games, but Zeke has no way of knowing that. It’s the first time he’s encountered such a procedure, so he doesn’t pay much attention to it.

Zeke is no amateur. The lights no longer dazzle him, the scent of the casino doesn’t lure him in anymore, and on his left wrist, he wore his lucky watch. He had no reason to prolong the visit. The slot machines looked normal. He knew the trick, three apples on the first line, two on the second, and none on the last. The roulette tables didn’t seem special either. He knew about the magnet trick hidden in the ball. The ball would never land at random. Still, he couldn’t be completely sure. There had to be at least one roulette table where the game played out the way the players wanted.

The dice game seemed a bit more interesting. Every time the dice didn’t show a six, the player who rolled had to drink a shot of vodka, a method meant to dizzy the players and make them blow all their money in a single night. Slapjack was Zeke’s weakness, but Poker was the game that stimulated him the most.

Even though Zeke knew most of the things here were cheap schemes that could lead him to ruin, he decided to step into the ring and get a new dose of dopamine.
