It was 11 Pm, perfect time for the disassembly drones to go hunting and in one of the many bunkers scattered around the planet, lived Uzi Doorman, an 18 years old girl who didn't have the greatest life: her mother disappeared and is probably dead, her father doesn't care about her mental health and her school experience was awful!
And so she had the genius idea of building a rail gun, to kill the murder drones everyone fears and finally get the respect she always wished for.
With her weapon on her back, she started walking towards the exit, but, she had to surpass an obstacle first, her dad, Khan, who immediately stepped in front of her with his arms crossed.

Khan: "Uzi, where do you think you're going at this hour?"

Uzi groaned in annoyance, but she tried to stay patient.

Uzi: "I'm going to face the murder drones, dad.
Everyone's tired of those four idiots, flying around and killing everyone and if no one has the wires to face them, then i will!"

Khan: "And meet the same fate of your mother in the process? Absolutely not."

Uzi: "Dad, please, You're underestimating the power of my rail gun."

Khan:" Sigh… fine, if you really want to."

Khan then stepped to the side and opened the three safety doors to let Uzi go outside.
Uzi was surprised that he agreed so quickly.

Uzi: "Wait, really?"

Khan: "I know i can't convince you, so I'm not going to waste my time arguing with you."

Uzi: "uhm… thanks, i guess."

Uzi proceeded to walk towards the exit, ignoring all the friendly waves the other worker drones around were giving her.
When she walked out of the bunker, the door behind her instantly shut closed, which made her realize in what situation she got herself in.

Uzi: "Okay okay… Let's stay calm. You can do this, Uzi."

Uzi took her rail gun and started walking towards the abandoned and destroyed buildings, ready to shoot at anything.

Uzi: "Stupid company, why couldn't they leave us alone? I bet they have so many robots on earth to do some dirty work, aren't they enough? Of course not! They have to be annoying on other planets too-"

She was interrupted by one of the disassembly drones landing right in front of her, it was the male one wearing a pilot hat, who was staring at her with a wide grin.

N: "Hello, shortie…"

Uzi started shaking slightly in fear, but she quickly gained her composure and pointed her rail gun at N.

Uzi: "If you say hello, then I'll tell you goodbye, because you're-"

Before she could finish her phrase, N took the rail gun from Uzi's hands.

N: "Nice toy you got here."

N then easily broke the rail gun by dividing it in two pieces and threw them on the ground.
Uzi stayed there with a horrified expression, before she nervously chuckled.

Uzi: "Hehe… "

N: "I think I'm going to be the one to say goodbye now."

Uzi backed away slowly, while N raised his arm, ready to kill her, Uzi reacted quickly tho, as she picked up a nearby rock and threw it against N's face, shattering his visor and giving the opportunity for her to run away.
Uzi decided to go past N instead of running back to the bunker and hid inside a random building.
She sat on the floor and leaned on a wall to take a breath.

Uzi: "well, it didn't go as planned.
What do i do now?"

Uzi stood up and began exploring the place she hid inside, hoping to find anything she could use to defend herself, but she was shocked to find one of the disassembly drones turned off in one of the rooms, specifically the other male one with long and smooth, silver hair that arrived to his shoulders.
Uzi nervously approached the body, hoping that he wouldn't suddenly turn on by himself, but unfortunately, he did just that.
The murder drone's visor was showing a loading bar, which made Uzi panic, so she picked up the first thing she saw, a piece of glass and waited.
When the murder drones fully loaded, his visor showed his yellow eyes, before he slowly stood up, the fact that he was one of the taller ones made Uzi intimidated even more.
The murder drone then looked around slightly confused.

G: "Hm? why do i feel so weird-"

Uzi interrupted him by pointing the piece of glass and yelling at him.

Uzi: "DON'T MAKE ANOTHER MOVE OR I'LL CUT YOUR THROAT!"

Surprisingly, G looked terrified by Uzi's threat and jumped in fear before hiding his face with his hands

G: "HAH! Don't hurt me I'll do anything!!"

Uzi lowered her weapon and looked at him confused.

Uzi: "what?"

G: "I'm gonna give you anything, my coat, my life, my-"

Uzi interrupted him.

Uzi: "Whoa whoa whoa, chill out.
I'm not gonna hurt you… for now."

G calmed down and slowly uncovered his face

G: "R-really?"

Uzi: "Yeah, look."

Uzi dropped her weapon and started to see an opportunity here.

G: "Phew…"

Uzi: "So, is this a trick to earn my trust and kill me easily or what? I wouldn't be surprised if you were just playing with me right now."

G: tilting his head in confusion "I'm supposed to kill you?"

Uzi panicked a bit and shook her head

Uzi: "No no no no!" She smiled nervously "I-it's just that people like you, usually kill people like me, hehehe… but, you're different, right?"

G: "Absolutely! I would never kill someone, that's evil."

Uzi: "Good. Huh… can you stay here for a moment? i need to think about something."

G: making a little smile "Of course, lady."

Uzi turned around and began mumbling something to herself.

Uzi: "Okay, what the hell is happening.
Isn't this guy supposed to be the most dangerous out of the four? He has to be tricking me, but, what if he isn't?" She turned her head to look at the murder drone still standing there "Hey, do you like, remember anything?"

G: raising an eyebrow "What do you mean?"

Uzi: "You know thing like, the planet you're in right now, you're purpose. That kind of stuff."

G: rubs his chin and thinks about it for a second "Well, now that you mention it, i really don't remember anything, it's a weird feeling, you know?"

Uzi turned her head back around and returned to mumbling to herself

Uzi: "Okay, he has somehow lost all of his memories and he doesn't even remember his purpose. That's perfect, i can convince him that he has to protect worker drones from his own friends…"

Uzi chuckled quietly, before turning around with a smile.

Uzi: "Well, I'm sorry to tell you, but, you may have lost all of your memories in some way."

G: his eyes widen in shock "Oh no!"

Uzi: "Don't worry tho, I'll tell you exactly what's going on here."

G: Listens intently, while still looking a bit sad

Uzi: "We're on the planet 'Copper-9', a planet full of people like me and we go by the name of 'worker drones'. Unfortunately there is your kind of people, called 'murder drones', who like to kill us for various reasons."

G: Gasps and puts his hands on the sides of his head horrified "Oh god, that's horrible!"

Uzi: "It is, but, you can change everything! Us worker drones are too short and weak to fight these murders, but you are one of them, which means that you can fight those bastards and put an end to all of this."

G: "I can?"

Uzi: "Yes, you can. Don't you want to save people's lives? You can become a… a hero!"

G: tilts his head slightly "A hero?"

Uzi: she nods

G: smiles determined "You're right, I'm a hero, people count on me, i can do this.
Let's go, miss worker drone."

Uzi: "Just call me 'Uzi', please."

G: "Okay, friend Uzi."

Uzi: her eyes widen a bit "Friend what-!"

G took her hand and he began to run outside the building while dragging Uzi with him

G: puts his hands on his hips "hm, this planet looks depressing."

Uzi: "it is, and next time don't start dragging me out of nowhere."

G: "i will remember that-"

Suddenly N landed right in front of them with a smirk and his hands on his hips too

N: "Ah, thank you G for finding this little bastard for me."

G becomes more serious and stays in front of Uzi

G: "Don't touch her! Bad guys like you won't kill any more worker drones from now on."

N: Raises an eyebrow in amusement "What? Come on i get that you like playing with food, but I'm way too hungry for that right now. Give me a piece of her now."

N tried to get closer to Uzi, but G punches him in the face with all of his strength, making N back away and groan in pain and anger too

N: "Dude, what's wrong with you!? I get it that we can regenerate, but we can still feel pain you idiot!"

G: "I'm sorry, bad guy, your end is now."

N: he looks more confused than angry now "Seriously, what are you doing, this isn't you."

G: "Just because I'm similar to you on the outside doesn't mean that I'm the same on the inside.
Now give up, bad guy."

N: stay silent for a moment, trying to process the situation, before switching his hands to claws "Ugh! Fine. You want a fight? I'll give you a fight."

N opens his wings and flies against G, taking him into the sky.
G opens his own wings to not fall.

G: smiles confidently "Hard way it is."

they both start fighting in the air, but due to G's lack of experience, N has the advantage, which worries Uzi, who's watching the scene from below.

N: "Don't make me regret this."

N takes G by the coat and throws him against the ground next to Uzi.
G stands up, groaning in pain and speaks to Uzi.

G: "Okay, change of plans.
This bad guy is too strong, we have to leave."

Uzi: "Definitely."

Uzi's eyes widen slightly, as G picks her up and starts to fly away.

N: "Oh, you two aren't getting away that easily."

N begins chasing the two and he's notably faster than G

Uzi: "Can't you go faster!?"

G: "I'm trying, but-" he gets and idea "I have an idea, friend Uzi. Trust me on this."

Uzi: "Okay, what's your idea-"

G then throws Uzi in the air, before suddenly stopping and punching N in the face.
The impact was strong enough to kill N temporarily.
G stared at N's body hitting the ground, feeling proud of himself.

G: smiling "That's what you get, bad guy."

Uzi: "AHHHHH!!"

G eyes widen, as he turns around and sees Uzi falling down

G: "FRIEND UZI!"

G flies down as fast as he could and managed to grab Uzi at the last moment.
Uzi didn't realize for a moment that she was saved and continued to tremble in fear on G's arms while hiding her face.

G: smiles "You're okay, friend Uzi."

Uzi: stops trembling and slowly uncovers her face, only to cross her arms and trying to look brave "pfft! I know that, idiot."

G: "My name is 'G', not 'idiot'."

Uzi: "yeah yeah, thanks, G.
Take me to my bunker before the other guy wakes up."

G: "Sure, point me the way."

G flied with Uzi towards her bunker.
Uzi spent the entire trip with her arms crossed and a small blush on her cheeks.

Uzi: "Stop, that's where i live."

G landed in front of the giant entrance and gently put Uzi down.

Uzi: "Huh… stay silent, okay? I'll do the talk."

G: "Understood."

Uzi knocked on the door and soon enough, it slightly opened to reveal the eyes of another worker drone.

???: "Who is it?"

Uzi: "It's me."

???: "Alright, wait a second."

The door then opened fully.

???: "I'm surprised you're still alive, U- OH MY GOD!"

All the worker drones that were working nearby quickly took their guns when they saw G and pointed them at him.

Uzi: She takes a step forward "Hey, calm down he's-"

She gets interrupted by her dad running towards them

Khan: "What the hell is happening here, i heard some screaming and- OH GOD A MURDER DRONE!"

Uzi: "Wait dad, it's not how it looks."

Khan: "Uzi are you insane!? Why did you bring a murder drone here!?"

Uzi: "I-i can explain. He's not the same person anymore, he somehow lost all of his memories, so he's a kind person now."

Khan: "How can i believe you!? He's a murder drone and the most dangerous one too!"

Uzi: "I swear dad, he saved my life earlier, he fought against another murder drone just to protect me."

Khan: he calms down and looks confused "Wait, really?"

Uzi: "Yes, I'm telling you the truth, he wants to protect worker drones now."

Khan looks at the other worker drones and gestures them to lower their weapons, before slowly stepping in front of G.

Khan: "What's your name?"

G: "I, am G, G the disassembly drone."

Khan: "G, huh?"

There's a moment of tense silence in the area.

Khan: "hm, I'll trust you for now.
Do you want some oil?"

G: "Oil?"

Khan: "yes, aren't you hungry?"

G: "kinda.
Some oil won't hurt."

Khan: he turns around to face the other worker drones and points at two of them "You two, you know what to do."

The two worker drones nod and after a moment they return with a canister of oil.

G: his smile widens slightly, as his left hand switched to a metal cup, which he uses to drink some oil "Thank you, worker drones."

Uzi: looks at G "Uhm… bye G."

G: "Bye bye, friend Uzi."

Khan shuts the door, leaving G outside and alone.

Khan: puts a hand on Uzi's shoulder "Come on, let's get you back to your dorm now."

Uzi: looking irritated "I can do that alone, you know?"

Meanwhile G stands there for a moment, his smile fades a bit and he feels a bit sad at the thought of being alone again, but he tries to shrug it off.

G: he turns around "Don't worry copper-9, G is coming to save everyone!"

G opens his wings and flies away.

When Uzi walked inside her dorm the first thing she did was to lay on her bed and think about what happened and if all of this was gonna change her life for the better.
