G flied around the sky to do what he does best, saving people!
He was thinking about him defeating N, V and J all alone, that thought boosted his confidence that maybe, just maybe, he can make this depressing world a better place.
But, his thoughts were interrupted when someone threw a rock at him and hit him right in the head.
G stopped and rubbed his head, before looking down to see who did this and noticed V staring at him from below.
Feeling frustrated, G quickly landed in front of V, who had a neutral expression.

V: "Hey, G… i..-"

G: "What do you want now? I can defeat you a second time with no problem."

V: Her eyes widen slightly "Wait, i don't want to fight, i just wanna talk to you, I've been trying to do that during the fight, but, J and N put you up on edge too much to do that."

G: His frustration fades away a bit after hearing V's sincerity "Okay, I'll listen."

V: "Thank you.
I don't know how to say this, but, to make it short, i just want to be your friend again.
I want to be by your side again, just like old times, when we used to joke around, to support each other, to be best friends… and i don't want that friendship to end, because of some memory loss."

G: Crossing his arms, not looking convinced "And why should i trust a murderer like you? For what i know this could all be a trap."

V: "This isn't a trap, i can promise and i swear I'll do anything to earn your trust again, heck I'll stop killing too if you want!"

G: "Also how can i even believe you anyway? Me being your best friend sounds like a joke to me."

V: Looking more sad and desperate "W-well, i don't have proof, but, come on, look at me! I swear I'm not acting, I'm being genuine in every way possible!"

G: Looking more annoyed "Sorry, V, i don't believe you."

V: "W-wait, please! Just think about it-"

G opened his wings and flied away, not wanting to discuss with V anymore.
V fell on her knees and started crying while hiding her face on her hands.

V: "I can't loose you… i don't want to…" She stands up, trying to hold her tears and stares at G flying away "I'll find a way to earn your trust… i promise…"

Meanwhile, G himself is trying to get as far away from V as possible and trying to focus on his main task.
After a moment he noticed a worker drone walking all alone.

G: Raising an eyebrow "Huh, what is someone doing outside at night?"

G landed in front of the worker drone with a smile, as he was happy to help.

G: "Hello, little worker dro-…" His eyes widened in surprise "Friend Uzi?"

Uzi: Smiling "There you are, i was searching for you."

G: "What are you doing here? It's dangerous outside at night!"

Uzi: Her smile widened determinately "Simple, i want to help people with you!"

G: Looking confused "What?"

Uzi: "You heard me right, i want to be a hero too, a heroine to be exact.
I want to save people's lives just like you."

G: "Oh, friend Uzi, i appreciate the thought, but you're too weak for this. You're powerless against the bad guys flying around and killing everyone."

Uzi: "Who said i need to fight? I can help you find things like people who need to be saved."

G: "How did you even manage to convince Mr.Khan to let you go outside?

Uzi: "I didn't, i have my ways."

A FEW MINUTES EARLIER.

Uzi walks out of her dorm, being careful to not be noticed by her father and quietly approaches the school hallways.
She enters her classroom and walks outside using the large window in the room.

Uzi: Grinning "Hehe, too easy."

G: "Well, whatever your ways are, you can't go with me, friend Uzi, it's too risky."

Uzi: Frowning "Come on, G, just this one time.
What could ever happen in one night?"

G thought about it for a few seconds, before sighing and making a decision.

G: "Fine, you can be a heroine for this night."

Uzi: Smiles excitedly "Thanks, you're the best!"

G smiles at seeing Uzi so happy, before opening his wings, turning around and crouching down.

G: "Come on friend Uzi, get on my back."

Uzi: "Yeah!"

Uzi wraps her arms around G tightly and rests her head on his shoulder, before G started to fly in the air.

Uzi: Looking more excited "This is so cool!!"

G: "I know, i love flying!"

Uzi: "I can't blame you.
But that doesn't matter, let's go save some people!"

A minute after they were in the sky, Uzi noticed something which made her eyes widen in horror.

Uzi: "Look there!"

G turns his head where Uzi is pointing and sees J about to kill someone, as she has already cut away the right arm of the innocent worker drone.

G: Looking shocked "Oh no!"

J got closer to the worker drone while drinking the oil from the arm she cut.

J: Smirking "mmm... your oil tastes really good, I'll make sure to enjoy every drop of it."

J smiled widely and got ready to kill the worker drone, but G managed to take the guy and fly away just in time.
J's smile faded and looked at G in anger.

J: "Hey! Ugh… whatever, I'm sure N has saved something for me."

The worker drone started panicking while laying on G's arms.

???: "DON'T KILL ME, PLEASE, I BEG YOU!"

G stared at the drone with concern, as he hid his face with his remaining arm.

G: "Don't be scared, i only want to help you.
Just tell me where the bunker you live in is."

???: Slowly uncovers his face "I-i don't trust you."

Uzi: Looking at the worker drone with a serious expression "Just tell us where you live before you die, dude."

The worker drone got convinced when he saw another person of his kind behind the murder drone's back and pointed a direction that G's immediately followed.
A few seconds later, G landed in front of the bunker where this harmed person lived.
Uzi got off G's back and knocked at the big entrance and they all impatiently waited.
Luckily someone answered pretty quickly and the door slightly opened to reveal someone's eyes.

???: "Who is it-"

Uzi: Yelling in a panicked state "OPEN THE DOOR NOW SOMEONE IS DYING!"

The worker drone behind the door's eyes widened and didn't waste a second to open the door fully.
Uzi and G immediately stepped inside the building, every worker drone nearby was shocked to see a murder drone trying to save someone's life, but that didn't matter at the moment, as the guy that opened the door for them spoke to G.

???: "Follow me, we have to take him to the medical room!"

G nodded and quickly followed the person, leaving Uzi alone.
Uzi concern was replaced with slight embarrassment, as she saw all the nearby worker drones staring at her and she backed away slightly, but, one of them still approached her with a curious expression.

???: "Hey, you're the girl that's going viral on dronernet, the one who befriended the most dangerous murder drone, am i right?"

Uzi sighed in annoyance, hating the fact that she was known only for that.

Uzi: "Yes, it's me… why?"

???: "I just wanted to be sure.
You've been getting pretty popular, you know?"

Uzi: "I know that, unfortunately…"

???: "Why should it be a bad thing?"

Uzi: "I don't know, it's overwhelming i guess and i feel like it's not a good way to become popular honestly… i don't want to be known as 'the girl that befriended a murder drone'."

???: "Makes sense, but don't worry, I'm sure it's gonna pass soon, since everyone is more interested about your friend anyway."

Uzi: "I hope so…"

Meanwhile, G and the worker drone that accompanied him returned, both relieved that they saved the attacked person's life.
Uzi walked closer to G, looking concerned.

Uzi: "Is that guy gonna be fine?"

G: "He is, friend Uzi.
Don't worry."

Uzi: "Phew…"

G turned around and backed away a bit to look at all the people staring at him.
The person that accompanied G took a step towards him.

???: "Uhm… is there anything we can give to thank you?"

G: Takes his bottle of oil from his pocket "Is it okay if i get some oil?"

???: "Sure sure, huh…" he points at a random worker drone "You, get a canister."

The worker drone he pointed at didn't waste a second to go do what he was tasked to do.

G: "Ah, so you must be the leader."

???: "Yes, you can call me 'Derrick' by the way."

G: smiling "Understood, Mr.Derrick."

The worker drone from earlier slowly returned with a canister of oil after struggling a bit.
G politely refilled his bottle and put it back on his pocket.

G: "Thank you all for being kind, i must go now."

Derrick: "It's okay.
Thank you too… huh…"

G: "My name is 'G', Mr.Derrick."

Derrick: "G… thank you G for saving that person's life, we all appreciate-"

Derrick interrupted himself, as he realized that G already flied away with Uzi.

Derrick: "Jeez, he doesn't waste a second to save people's lives." He speaks to all the nearby worker drones "alright guys, everyone go back to do their work now!"

Meanwhile, G and Uzi talked to each other up in the air.

Uzi: "Don't you think it was a bit rude to just fly away like that?"

G: "We can't waste our time talking to people, friend Uzi.
We have justice to serve."

Uzi: "hmm… yeah, makes sense."

As the two were just flying in the air calmly, G suddenly stopped and raised an eyebrow in confusion, as he noticed something weird.

Uzi: "Whoa! Why did you stop so suddenly?"

G: "Because of that"

G pointed at a worker drone walking around in a weird way.

Uzi: "Huh? What a weird-looking dude, let's go check on him."

G nodded and and landed in front of the strange worker drone.
Uzi got off G's back and stayed next to him.
The worker drone kept walking in a weird way, with his head tilted to the side and his hands being held in the air, everything about him looked unstable.
G and Uzi looked at each other for a second, not knowing what to do.

Uzi: "What do we do?"

G: "I have no idea."

G looked at the weird person in front of them.

G: "Uhm… hi?"

The worker drone suddenly froze and started staring at G, while his visor showed a skull instead of his eyes.
Uzi and G backed away a bit and looked surprised a bit scared too.

G: "Uhm… worker drones can't do this, right, friend Uzi?"

Uzi: "O-of course not, I've never seen such thing!"

G tried to step closer to whatever this thing was, but upon the first step, long, metallic spider legs grew out of the worker drone's back and made a loud screech, before charging at G at an extremely quick speed.
Uzi quickly backed away, as she looked at G getting pinned down by the creature and the only thing she could was watch in horror.
G held the monster's head away from him, as he was trying to bite him.

G: "D-don't worry, friend Uzi.
I got this-"

Upon saying that, the monster used one of his spider legs to spear his head and kill him temporarily.
With G unable to do anything, the creature slowly moved to his chest to spear his core/heart, but was distracted by Uzi throwing a rock at him in the head.

Uzi: "D-d-don't you dare to kill him, you, thing!"

The monster slowly walked towards Uzi, using his spider legs to hold himself in the air, but instead of attacking Uzi, he just stared at her, with saliva drooling out of his mouth.
Uzi just stood there in silence, too terrified to do anything at this point.
As the thing got closer and closer to Uzi, it gave the time to G to regenerate and shoot the monster in the head with his rifle.
Uzi made a sigh of relief seeing the creature falling dead on the snow.
G stood up while switching his rifle back to his hand.

G: "Oh wow… are you okay, friend Uzi?"

Uzi: "Y-yeah… what the hell was that!?"

G: "I don't know, but we definitely need to investigate to find out what's going on."

G turned his head to look around and noticed a shadowy figure staring at him from a building, who immediately hid when G noticed it.

G: Gives the building a sharp stare "hm… follow me, friend Uzi."

Uzi: "Okay?"

Uzi and G ran inside the building, which seemed to be an hospital.
G turned his visor in flashlight mode and the two began walking around the dark hallways.
Uzi was hugging herself, the whole setting making her feel uneasy, which didn't go unnoticed by her friend.

G: "You look uncomfortable, friend Uzi.
do you want to hold my hand?"

Uzi: Her eyes widen slightly "huh.. i-it's not necessary…"

G: "Okay."

After a few seconds tho, Uzi gripped G's hand tightly while still hugging herself with her free arm.
G didn't react at this and just let her do.
They arrived at the end of the hallway, where there was a room without an entrance door and inside they could see still functioning lights and the mysterious person that was observing them earlier.
G didn't waste a second to enter inside the room and drag Uzi inside, as he was taking the situation very seriously.

G: "Who are you, Mr.worker drone?"

The mysterious worker drone, who was wearing a surgeon uniform, along with plastic gloves and glasses, turned around with his rotating chair and and looked at the two with a smile.

???: "You can call me, 'Dr.Hector'.
But, you don't really care about that, do you? Anyways did you like my toy you played with outside? It was one of my best models."

G: looking angry "So, you're the one that built that monster.
Why would you do such thing?"

Hector: Sounding more angry, as he frowns "Why? To kill you stupid murder drones obviously! You've been doing nothing, but ruining our lives for the past few months and i won't just stand here and accept my fate!"

Uzi: Taking a step forward "Hey, i calm down, i can assure you that he is not like the others.
Heck, I'm even friends with him, he's peaceful."

Hector stood up from the chair, pointing at G and raising his voice

Hector: "You're lying, i saw this bastard kill my wife in front of my eyes and i bet that he's playing nice just to play with you! He would've been dead at this point if you didn't stop my creation, you purple-haired bitch!"

G's eyes widened when hearing that he killed Hector's wife.

G: "Wait, i killed your wife? That's impossible, i-i don't remember that, i would never do such thing."

Hector: "Don't try to fool me, it won't work with me!"

Hector then walked towards a nearby box full of various weapons and smiled widely while picking up a shotgun.

Hector: "On another note, maybe i am a bit happy that you're still alive, because i want to kill you personally!"

G grabs Uzi's hand and runs away, as Hector starts to shoot at both of them.
G and Uzi hide inside a random room with it's lights flickering, revealing lots of people with arms and legs tied and their mouths closed shut with piece of tapes.
The two looked at the scene in horror with wide eyes.

Uzi: "Oh. My. God.
W-what do we do now!?"

G: "Uhm..! Okay, here is the idea, you start to patiently untie all these innocent people while i deal with the bad guy outside."

Uzi: "Sounds good."

G rushed outside the room to fight Hector while Uzi started to untie all the people one by one.
The stress was getting to Uzi very quickly and while untying the third person, she stopped and froze in her place, as she was starting to have a panic attack.

Uzi: "I…. i…"

But the noise of the person in front of her pleading to help was enough to get her back on her tracks.

Uzi: "S-sorry, I'm doing my best i-"

Uzi interrupted herself, as she felt a chunk of drool fall onto her head.
When she looked on the ceiling, she saw a giant centipede robot with hair strangely similar to J's who was staring at her back.
Uzi started to panic, as all the tied up people in the room started screaming louder, which agitated the centipede creature and started eating everyone one by one.
Uzi leaned on a wall and covered her mouth in shock at what she was seeing with tears streaming down her face.
Suddenly, G rushed inside the room while breathing heavily.

G: "Little problem, Dr.Hector has these things he calls 'grenades' and they're very-" he interrupted himself and stared in horror at the mass of dead bodies and the giant centipede "What the-"

Hector threw a grenade at the door, making G fly away thanks by the explosion.
Hector then walked inside the room with a grin and other grenades in hand.

Hector: "For being a murder drone you sure suck at-"

Hector interrupted himself and looked at the scene in shock, as he dropped all the grenades he had in his hands.

Hector: "My tools…"

Hector looked at the centipede robot and stepped towards it in anger.

Hector: "You bastard, do you realize what did you just do!? Why couldn't you wait one more minute so i could feed you properly!? Noooo, you needed to eat all the people for my experiments! Do you know how much it took me to kidnap all of them!?"

The centipede didn't seem to be listening to it's owner, as it moved it's head closer to Hector in interest.

Hector: Looking more scared "H-hey, go away, now!"

G took the opportunity to escape, so he grabbed Uzi's hand and started running.
While running towards the exit they heard Hector screaming in pain, as the centipede started eating him.
G turned off his flashlight mode when they finally ran outside and they both stopped to catch some breath.

G: "Huff… Oh my, that doctor was insane! I'm so glad he's gone now, am i right, friend-"

G interrupted himself and his eyes widened in concern when he saw Uzi's hugging herself, her whole body shaking and staring at the ground with a traumatized expression.
He crouched down in front of her.

G: "No-no-no, look at me, friend Uzi, don't be scared, it's all over."

Uzi: "T-t-those p-people… t-they're all d-d-dead… i-i couldn't even s-save o-one of t-them…"

G: "Hey, don't think about it.
Sure, you couldn't save those people, but they could've suffered a worse fate, they can finally rest now forever."

Uzi: "B-but…"

Uzi stopped herself and started crying and G immediately hugged her tightly, understanding how traumatizing this whole thing was for her.

G: "Shhh… don't cry, friend Uzi….. sigh… i shouldn't have brought you with me…"

As Uzi started to calm down a bit, G leaned away from the hug and kept his hands on her shoulders.

G: "Are you feeling better?"

Uzi: "Kind of…"

G: "Come on, don't cry, I'm here for you…"

Uzi: "I know i know.
It's just, i only wanted to save a few people to feel like a heroine… i didn't want to go through this…"

G: "I get it, none of this was planned, but, it's what you have to expect if you want to be a hero.
It's not always going to be simple stuff like saving people's lives, you need to be mentally strong to be ready to face anything and it's okay, you showed yourself to be very brave and did your best to help instead of running away." He smiles "I'm proud of you, friend Uzi."

Uzi: "Really?"

G: Holds one of his fists in front of her "Yes, you can be called a heroine."

Uzi smiles weakly while wiping away her tears

Uzi: "Thank you, hero."

They do a gentle fist bump.
Uzi and G looked at each other in the eyes for a moment, but right when the worst moment passed, J suddenly landed , kicking G in the face which sent him flying away.

J: "This is for saving my food! And also because I'm going to kill you."

G didn't even get the time to stand up, that J already charged at him to attack, as she wasn't holding back this time.
Uzi's eyes widened in shock and tried to hide inside the hospital building, but N came above, grabbed her and flied away.

N: Grinning "Remember me?"

Uzi: "You bastard, let me go!"

G heard Uzi yelling while fighting J and his eyes widened when he saw N kidnapping her.

G: "Friend Uzi!"

G switched his right hand to a blade and decapitated J, before he quickly flied towards N, cutting his wings and grabbing Uzi while she was falling down.

G: "Don't worry, friend Uzi, I'll get you back to your bunker!"

But, only a second later, J flied towards them after regenerating, kicking G against a building, which made him loose his grip on Uzi, who started falling down again.
J switched her right hand to a blade and tried to decapitate Uzi while in the air, but Uzi managed to dodge the attack and grab one of J's wings, making her fly down violently.

J: "You idiot, we're both going to crash!"

Uzi: "Fuck you!"

J shook her wing as fast as she could, which made Uzi let go and fall down, but luckily they weren't too high in the air for Uzi to get hurt, but unfortunately, when she stood up, J flied towards her cut her stomach with her blade.

J: Grinning widely "Yes!"

G who was starting to feel weak after J's powerful kick, noticed Uzi laying on the ground with a big cut on her body.
His eyes widened in horror, his blade switched to his hand and he quickly flied towards her.
He kneed down and started shaking in fear, as he grabbed Uzi's hand.

G: "No-no-no-no-no-no, please don't die, friend Uzi!"

Uzi stared at G with wide eyes, her body too weak too move or say anything, she could barely even breathe right now and after a few seconds, Uzi's visor along with her whole system shut down.
Tears streamed down G's face.

G: "No… N-no…"

J stood there with a satisfied smile, but N, who was standing next to her, didn't look so convinced.

J: "I hope you learnt your lesson, G.
You were made to kill worker drones, not befriend them."

N: "J, don't you think this was too much? I mean, if he didn't want to join us first, why would he now?"

J: "Don't worry, N.
This is all part of the plan-"

G flied against J as fast he could and punched her in the face so hard her entire visor shattered.
N tried to attack G, but he was quickly pinned down by him grabbing his face and forcing it on the snowy ground.
J quickly helped N after regenerating by pushing G away and helping N stand up.

J: "Change of plans, we have to retreat."

N: "What? But-"

J: "Open your stupid wings and let's retreat!"

N and J started flying away as fast as they could, but G decided to follow them.

G: "You're not getting away so easily."

J turned around and started panicking slightly when she saw G catching up, so she switched her left hand to a rifle and started shooting at G, who was forced to stop and back away from them.
G stared at the two flying away in anger, before realizing that Uzi's dead body was still down there and that he should do something about it, so he quickly picked it up and flied at where she lived.
He landed in front of the big bunker, before knocking at the entrance and impatiently waited.
After a few seconds the door slightly opened.

Khan: "Yes, who is it-"

G: "OPEN, NOW!"

Khan: his eyes widening slightly "Whoa, okay okay."

Khan opened the door fully and looked at G.

Khan: "What's the proble-" His eyes widened and his voice raised in panic "OH MY GOD UZI!!"

G: "Is there some medical room somewhere!?"

Khan: "Yes, follow me come on!"

G followed Khan who brought him inside of a medical room where there were a bunch of people in doctor uniforms.
The doctors were just talking to each other, but the sight of Uzi caught their attention and one of them spoke up.

???: "Oh god, put her on the bed, we'll take care of this!"

G listened and put Uzi's body on the hospital bed the doctor pointed at and him and Khan walked out of the room to let the doctors do their work.
Khan looked at G with a concerned expression.

Khan: "G, what the hell happened!? I thought that Uzi was sleeping in her dorm, why was she outside with you!?"

G: "I-i.. S-she like secretly ran outside, b-but, i didn't tell her to do so! and.. and..!"

G was shaking a lot and his face was covered in tears, which made it hard for him to speak.

Khan: "Hey, it's alright, don't panic.
How about you go outside for a moment to calm yourself down?"

G: "O-okay…"

G walked outside and put a hand on his forehead.

G: "Sigh… I'm so dumb…"

He leaned on the bunker, crossing his arms and stared at the ground, when suddenly he heard someone land in front of him, so he raised his head and saw V, who looked concerned for him as expected.

G: "No, i don't want to be your friend.
Go away."

V: "I'm not here for that.
I saw you looking sad and i got concerned."

G: Looking away "It's none of your business."

V: "I know, but, i just want to make you feel better in some way.
Come on, you can talk about it with me."

G rolled his eyes in annoyance, realizing that V won't go away without him telling her what happened.

G: "…It's about friend Uzi… I'm scared for her life…"

V: Took a step closer "What happened to her?"

G: Looking sad "J tried to kill her… S-she sliced her body… a-and I'm scared that she might not survive…"

V covers her mouth in shock and her eyes widen.

V: "Oh my… i didn't think she would arrive at such measures…" Lowering her hands out of her mouth "Is there anything i can do? I can, i don't know, take J to you, maybe tied up so you can take your revenge."

G: "No… I just want to be alone now…"

V stared at him for a second, before opening her wings and flying away without saying anything.
After that, G decided to return inside the bunker where Khan was waiting for him.

Khan: "Are you feeling better?"

G: "I-i think so…"

Khan: "So, now can you tell me what happened?"

G: Taking a deep breath "Well, it all started when i found friend Uzi outside and she told me that she wanted to save people with me and like, we did that, but then two murder drones attacked us and one of them sliced friend Uzi and-"

Khan interrupted him and he looked angry at G now.

Khan: "wait, so you're telling me that you let Uzi stay with you despite being aware of the dangers of doing that?"

G: "I just wanted her to feel like a heroine by saving people."

Khan: Raising his voice "You idiot, my daughter is risking to die because of you! How could you be so dumb to think that it would be a good idea to bring her with you!? I knew it, i knew that you'd cause my daughter to get hurt, you murder drones can never be trusted!"

G backed away slightly, as Khan's words were really hurting him.

G: Lowering his head "I'm really sorry, Mr.Khan…"

Khan: "I don't give a shit about your excuses! You-"

Khan was interrupted by one of the doctors walking out of the room.

???: "She's fine, sir.
The cut didn't do as much damage as we thought, so it was a quick operation."

Khan: "Oh, thank you!
Can i see her?"

???: "Sure, come inside."

Khan and G walk inside the medical room, while all the doctors walked out of it to rest after doing their job.
Khan stood near Uzi with a concerned expression, while G just stayed on a corner sadly while holding his own hands politely and his head lowered.
Uzi slowly opened her eyes and looked at her father.

Uzi: In a weak voice "D-dad…? W-where… where am i…?"

Khan: Holding her hand gently "You're at home, Uzi… you survived a murder drone attack."

Uzi: "Oh, right… i.. remember now…"

Khan: "…Uzi… we need to talk…"

Uzi: Lowering her head "I know… I'm sorry for-"

Khan: Interrupting Uzi "G told me everything already…"

Uzi: Looking at Khan again "Oh… okay… c-can i talk to him for a moment?"

Khan: "No, Uzi.
In fact, you will not talk to him ever again."

G raises his head in surprise while his and Uzi's eyes widen.

Uzi: "W-what do you mean?"

Khan: "You heard me right.
With this incident, G has shown to be nothing, but a danger to you and i don't want him near you anymore."

Uzi: Slowly sits up "N-no, dad, you can't take separate us just like that.
He's my only friend and he did a lot for me."

Khan: Looking a bit angry "Yes, he put your life in danger, that's what he did."

Uzi: "It's just an incident and honestly, it's my fault that it happened, not his.
I shouldn't have ran out of the bunker just to stay with G, i admit it."

Khan: "But, he also could've just brought you back here instead of letting you stay with him like any smart person would do, something that he isn't."

Uzi: "Dad… come on"

Khan: "No, Uzi."

Khan then turns around to face G.

Khan: "And you, don't you dare to show your face in this building ever again, do you understand?"

G: "I understand, Mr.Khan… can i say goodbye to friend Uzi at least..?"

Khan: Raising his voice "Get out of here!"

G flinched a bit when Khan raised his voice at him, but he didn't say anything and walked away.
