G knocked on the large door and waited, he was slightly surprised to see that it was fully opened soon without someone asking who it was first, but he was even more surprised to see Nori greeting him with a warm smile instead of Khan.

G: "Friend Nori?"

Nori: Crossing her arms "Of course it was you knocking, I'm not surprised."

G: making a small smile "Oh, I'm so relieved that you answered and not Mr.Khan."

Nori: "Don't worry about him, he won't be able to do anything to you from now on."

G: Raising an eyebrow in confusion "What do you mean?"

Nori: "Get inside, I'll explain you everything."

G raised an eyebrow in interest and walked inside, which let Nori close the entrance.

Nori: "Alright, so, basically… I'm the leader of this colony now, i manage the bunker and all that stuff.
My husband doesn't have that role anymore."

G: Looking shocked "Wait what!? And what does Mr.Khan do now?"

Nori: "He just cleans the building, it's the dumbest job that i could think of."

G: Looking a bit guilty "I see… Well, i know that he did bad things and all, but, i feel bad for making him loose his job as a leader, it's a big role after all."

Nori: "Oh, don't feel guilty, he deserves it.
From what some told me he would make people overwork for some reason and after all the controversy of him trying to kill you, the colony voted to change leader and out of all the contestants they chose me."

G: "I… wow, just wow."

Nori: "Yeah, a lot has happened in so little time.
Anyways, why did you come here? If it's to visit my daughter, then I'm sorry, but, Uzi is sleeping right now."

G: Shaking his head "Oh, I'm not here for that.
It's just that i got an headache out of nowhere, like my head suddenly glitched and it started hurting and it still does a bit actually.
I just wanted to get checked from a doctor."

Nori: Looking surprised "Huh, that's weird, you should definitely get checked.
You know where the medical room is, right?"

G: "Uhm… yes, i think."

Nori: "Good, update me on the situation later, okay? And don't worry about Khan, he's asleep too-"

Nori was interrupted by Uzi running towards them in excitement while wearing her pajamas and standing without her slippers and socks.

Uzi: Standing next to Nori "G!"

Nori: Glancing at Uzi in confusion "Excuse me, why the hell aren't you in bed?"

Uzi: Staring at her mom back "Well, i heard G's voice and i just couldn't help myself, but run outside my dorm to say 'hi' to him."

Nori: "Mhm, okay then, just know that he's not here to keep you company this time, he just needs a quick visit to the-"

Uzi: Interrupting Nori and looking disappointed "What? So, he's going to leave soon?"

Nori: Looking slightly annoyed "Yes, he still has a job to do, he needs to save people."

G: "Uhm… actually I'm done with that for tonight."

Both Uzi and Nori glance at him surprised.

Nori: "What? Aren't the other murder drones still attacking bunkers?"

G: "No, I'm sure of that." Rubbing the back of his head while looking away "A lot has happened earlier, so i wouldn't mind spending time with friend Uzi."

Uzi: Looking at Nori with a pleading expression "Can he stay?"

Nori: Looking at Uzi "Sigh… fine, but, i swear if you go to school late tomorrow, because you didn't sleep enough then I'm going to kill you."

Uzi: Smiling widely "Don't worry, mom, you can trust me when it comes to school."

Nori: "I never trusted you when it came to school."

Uzi: "There's a first time for everything." Glancing at G and gesturing to follow her "Come on, dude, let's go."

G and Nori looked at each other for a second.

Nori: "Can you make sure that she'll go to bed in like, ten minutes, please?"

G: Smiling determinately and nodding "I will, friend Nori."

G caught up with Uzi, reminding to himself the task of taking his best friend to bed.
When they entered her dorm, Uzi immediately sat on her rotating chair and opened her laptop.

Uzi: "Come here."

G listened and walked closer to her, now standing right next to Uzi, who was scrolling quickly on Dronernet, before stopping at a specific post, which was a photo of him being on metal town, with the caption: "OMG! The hero of copper-9 visited metal town today!!!".
Uzi pointed at the screen and looked at G in shock.

Uzi: "You went to metal town!?"

G: Looking a bit confused "Uhm… yeah, is it that shocking?"

Uzi: "Of course it is, it's the most popular place on Copper-9, everyone wants to visit it! You have to take me there one day, absolutely."

G: Making a small smile "Oh, in that case, I'll surely take you there when the bad guys will be, less bad, hehe."

Uzi: Chuckling "eh, right, right."

G took a step forward and looked at the laptop with interest.

G: "Is this what people call a social media?"

Uzi: Looking a bit confused by the question "Huh… yes, why?"

G: Crouching down a bit to match the laptop's height "It's so cool, you can share everything that you want with the world."

Uzi: Glancing at the monitor "Yeah… do you want to look through it a bit?"

G: Nodding "Yes, I'd love to."

Uzi: "If you say so." Whispering to herself "I hope i don't stumble upon anything weird…"

Uzi gripped the laptop's mouse and started scrolling down through Dronernet.
G leaned slightly with more interest, as Uzi slowly scrolled through various fan arts.

G: "Wow, people draw me?"

Uzi: "yep, way too much sometimes."

G: "They all look so cool."

But, G's smile faded quickly and his interest turned into surprise when they stumbled upon a post that showed a digital drawing of him and J sleeping together on top of a bed inside a dark room, with the caption: "The murder drones are so cute together! don't y'all agree?"

G: Standing up, looking a bit flustered "W-what the…"

Uzi: Her expression hardening "Yeah, people also like to draw these things called 'ships'… i hoped we wouldn't stumble upon one of you, but, it's literally asking for the impossible."

G blushed as he tried to process all the information.

G: "I… that's.. something…"

Uzi smiles amusingly at the sight of him blushing.

Uzi: "Oh, you're overreacting, there is worse stuff people share."

G: Looks at Uzi shocked "What do you mean worse!?"

Uzi: Smirking "You know, there are a lot of girls who always say that they want to marry you."

G: Panicking "they want to seduce me!?"

Uzi: Gesturing him to calm down while still keeping her smile "Whoa! No no, marrying means when you like, propose to someone to be together for the rest of their life or something like that."

G: "But i don't want to marry them!"

Uzi: "Hehe, jeez calm down, you can always refuse, you know? And i doubt these people have the courage to actually ask you that."

G took a deep breath and calmed down.

G: "Phew…"

Uzi: "Damn, that was an exaggerated reaction."

G: "It wasn't exaggerated." Pointing at the laptop "The fact that people think of these things or draw these, unnecessarily good drawings is very overwhelming for me."

Uzi: "Hmm, yeah, maybe you're right."

G: "Like, if i asked you to marry me one day how would you react?"

Uzi was caught off guard by this question and looked away with her arms crossed, trying to hide her fluster.

Uzi: "Mmph! Fine, maybe i would react the same way."

G: "Well, it can't get worse than this, right?"

Uzi: Uncrossing her arms and looking at him slightly nervously while rubbing the back of her neck. "Actually it does, unfortunately."

G: Looking surprised "Seriously?"

Uzi: "Yeah…" Glancing at her laptop "there are some genres of drawings, like gore, which are very violent arts, or NSFW, which… we don't talk about that…"

G: Looking interested "Okay..?"

Uzi: Looking at G with a sad and slightly nervous expression "Well, for some people these images are just annoying, but for me, they're almost painful to see…" Lowering her head "I really had no friends before i met you.. so, to cope with loneliness.. i saw fictional characters as friends, and.. every time i saw a drawing of one of my favorite characters getting tortured or, other stuff.. it felt, real and…"

Uzi then crossed her arms and pouted.

Uzi: "…I shouldn't be telling you all this stuff honestly-"

G hugged her, shocking Uzi, as she didn't expect this reaction.
They both stayed silent for a moment, until G spoke.

G: "You're not alone anymore, friend Uzi, i don't want you to…"

Uzi slowly hugged him back and she felt like she could cry right now, but she resisted, except for a small sob escaped her mouth.
They both stayed close to each other for a few seconds, before G leaned away and looked at her in the eyes.

G: Looking concerned "I hope you're feeling better now."

Uzi: "…I… yeah…"

G smiled lightly and caressed her head.

G: "I'm happy to hear that, i just hope that you're not lying, hehe."

Uzi: Smiling lightly back "Hehe, don't worry, I'm not..."

They just kept staring at each other for a few seconds, until suddenly, sparkles flew out of G's head, who backed away and put his hands against his head while groaning in pain.
Uzi's eyes widened in shock and she quickly stood up.

Uzi: "Are you okay!?"

G: "I'm fine, friend Uzi, it didn't hurt much…"

Uzi: "What the hell was that!?"

G: "I don't know, it happened earlier too, it's the reason i went here in the first place, to get checked by a doctor, but, then you arrived and i completely forgot about it."

Uzi: trying to hide her guilt "Damn, we should go now then, there should be a doctor working at night."

The two were now inside the medical room, with G laying on a hospital bed and Uzi standing next to him, along with a doctor who connected G's head to a laptop to check his system.
The room was very silent, with the doctor looking very concentrated and serious, while Uzi and G stared at him with concern.

???: "I see, your memory card looks a bit damaged."

Uzi: "Do you know what the causes could be?"

???: "Not really, i don't know anything about murder drones and how they're built, we know that they're waterproof, so water definitely isn't the cause.
Hmm… let me check his code."

As the doctor opened an app to look through G's code, his serious and professional expression turned into confusion and surprise.

???: "What. the. hell."

Uzi: "what is it, doc?"

???: "There… there is no code, G doesn't have a code."

G and Uzi were shocked by the news, but, Uzi walked towards the doctor with skepticism to see for herself.

Uzi: "Impossible, there is no way he doesn't have a-"

She interrupted herself when she saw on the laptop that, G really didn't have even a single line of code.

Uzi: "Wait, what?"

???: "I told you, this is so weird."

Uzi: "Are you sure it just didn't load correctly or something?"

???: "That's impossible, this laptop is new and works very well."

Uzi: "…What do we do now?"

???: "I… i don't know, this has never happened before, i can't even comprehend how he's been active for so long without a line of code."

They both continued to stare at the screen in silence for a few seconds, before the doctor's eyes slowly widened in horror and he stared to back away while shaking in fear.

Uzi: Looking at the doctor confused and more concerned "Is everything alright? Did you realize something?"

The doctor didn't respond and stared at G while leaning on a wall and looking like he was having a panic attack, he looked around quickly, he took a nearby gun, pointed it at his head and closed his eyes.

Uzi: Running towards the doctor "WAIT, NO NO NO-"

The doctor pulled the trigger and shot himself, his dead body instantly fell on the floor, as Uzi froze in place in horror, while G removed the wire attached to his head to stand up, looking just as horrified as Uzi.

Uzi: "Oh… my…"

G: "W-why did he do that? Why was he so scared of me?"

Uzi: "I have no idea…" Glancing at G with a scared expression "But, this means that he knew something that we don't know… and it may be you, or something associated with you…"

G looked terrified at the thought of something unknown being associated with him, he didn't say anything in response.
Suddenly, Nori entered the room with a worried expression.

Nori: "Is everything alright? I heard the sound of a-"

She interrupted herself when she saw the dead body of the doctor on the floor, her expression turned into horror.
Uzi panicked and raised her hands slightly.

Uzi: "I-it's not what it seems, mom! He literally shot himself, we didn't do anything-"

Nori: Looking skeptical "You two get out of here, now."

Ten minutes later.
G, Uzi and Nori were standing outside the medical room, watching as the dead body gets covered and taken by professional worker drones and a policeman takes pictures of the suicide scene with a camera, there were.
Nori looked at Uzi and G with a serious expression with her arms crossed.

Nori: "So, he killed himself, you're not lying, Uzi, right?"

Uzi: With a pleading expression "I'm not, mom, i swear, why can't you believe me?"

Nori: "Sigh… sorry, it's just a weird situation, you know? Like, i can't think of a reason on why he would do that out of nowhere."

Uzi: "That's what I'm thinking, he was just checking on G, he noticed that something was wrong with him and that terrified him to the point of taking his own life."

Nori: Putting her hand on her hips "Well, what does G have that is so horrifying?"

Uzi: Looking slightly nervous "Well, the doctor discovered that he has no code…"

Nori: Widening her eyes in shock "What? You're joking, a drone can't move, speak and think without it's code."

Uzi: "Well, he can somehow."

Nori stayed silent in disbelief, struggling to process everything that's happening, until he looks at G and sees him staring at his shaky hands with fear.

Nori: Raising an eyebrow "Uhm… G, are you alright?"

Uzi glanced at G too and immediately showed some concern for him.

Uzi: "G?"

G flinched slightly and looked at Uzi, while still looking a bit scared.

G: "Yes, friend Uzi?"

Uzi: "Why were you looking at you hands like that? You looked.. almost scared."

G: "Uhm…" Looking away "I don't feel good…"

Uzi and Nori looked at each other for a second, before glancing back at G.

Nori: Taking a step towards G "Hey, since there is definitely something wrong with you and i don't want you to get stressed out, because of my husband, how about you leave so that you can rest your mind?"

G: Looking at Nori "Oh, i think that's a good idea."

Uzi: Looking at Nori with a pleading expression "Mom, can i go with him for a bit?"

Nori: Glancing at Uzi with a slightly annoyed expression "Seriously? I already let you stay awake past your bedtime for around 10 minutes, now you wanna go outside with G when the other murder drones may be anywhere right now?"

Uzi: Widening her eyes in realization and looking away "Well…"

Nori couldn't help, but smile and chuckle at Uzi's reaction.

Nori: "Of course you can go, i don't have to tell you what to do and what not to do like you father does, you're too old for that."

Uzi looked surprised for a second, but then smiled excitedly.

Uzi: "Thanks, mom, you're the best."

Uzi then gave her mom a quick hug, before running to her dorm to change her clothes.

G: Looking at the direction Uzi ran "…I'll wait for her outside." Glancing at Nori "Bye, friend Nori."

Nori: Waving at G with friendly smile.

G waved back and left, Nori's smile faded and looked worried and a bit scared of how G's malfunction could affect him.
After a few minutes, Uzi ran out of the building in excitement with the clothes she always wears, she looked at G, who was just fidgeting with his fingers to pass the time, with a smile.
G stopped what he was doing and smiled back at Uzi.

G: "Ah, there you are."

Uzi: "Yep, I'm ready."

G: "So, why do you wanna come with me? Didn't you learn from last time?"

Uzi: Rolling her eyes playfully "I know i know, but like, i just want to be next to you in case something bad happens, because you know, this malfunction of yours is worrying me a lot." There was a hint of concern and sincerity in the last phrase.

G's smile faded and looked her a sympathetic expression.

G: "Oh, makes sense… you can stay, but, just for a few minutes, i don't want to keep you outside at night after what happened last time i let you stay with me." Looking away with a guilty expression.

Uzi: Taking a step forward, feeling bad for him "Still feeling guilty for that? Hehe, jeez you're so sensitive, I'll be fine this time for sure, I'm positive." Sounding more excited now "Come on now, Let's touch the sky together again."

G put up a determined smile, he crouched down and let Uzi climb on his back, before opening his wings and flying with her another time.

Uzi: Calming down "I suppose that we're not gonna do heroic stuff this time."

G: "Yeah, i think we're just going to sit somewhere and see what we can do."

Uzi: "Sounds fine."

G soon landed on top of a tall building, both him and Uzi sat on the edge of the roof and looked around in silence.

Uzi: Her smile fading "…This is so peaceful, but also, kind of sad… i never realized how depressing, Copper-9 looked before."

G: "Yeah… and all these skeletons, they always make me feel uneasy…"

Uzi: Glancing at him with a bit of surprise "Really? That's new.
Usually drones don't care about seeing the skeletons of their slaves, heck we use their skulls as children toys as a way to mock them, but, you're a murder drone after all, it's probably the reason why you react like that."

G: Looking at Uzi in disbelief "Children toys? That's insane! And what do you mean with, slaves?"

Uzi: Smiling "Hehe, there is so much that you don't know, i think we should sit in my dorm one day, and dedicate that day to explain where you and everyone originates from."

G: Looking interested "Ohh! We should definitely do that one day."

Uzi: "Yeah, somewhere around the weekend would be perfect."

As they were talking to each other, V, N and J landed near them, V and N looked a bit nervous, while J looked like she almost didn't want to do this
Uzi's eyes widened in fear, while G held an arm protectively in front of her, staring at the three murder drones with an angry expression.

V: "Hey hey hey, stay calm, we're not here to fight."

N: "Yeah." Looking troubled "we just… uhm…"

V: "We just want to spend time with you, just like old times, but this time we'll just sit next to you like good, civilized people.
Is it okay?"

G thought about it for a few seconds, while staring at V sharply.

G: "Fine… but you stay away from friend Uzi."

V: Putting up a small smile "Sure, don't worry."

The three murder drones sat down on the edge of the roof, with V being the closest to G and Uzi, and J sitting the farthest, which just made her more annoyed.
G returned to look at the sky, while Uzi leaned her back forward to take a look at V and waved at her with a little smile.

Uzi: "Hi, V."

V: Smiling back "Hey, nice to see you again."

G was a bit annoyed by Uzi's relationship with V getting better, considering V's temporary betrayal, but he couldn't force himself to stop the two of them.
N was just staring at the sky, while J stared at Uzi with annoyance and hatred, something that Uzi herself noticed and she decided to put her tongue out of her mouth at J as a response.

J: Looking away and whispering at herself "Sigh... why am i doing this?"

N: Glancing at J with an annoyed expression "Jeez, where is your sympathy for G? You really want to sacrifice your relationship with him just to stay loyal to JcJenson?"

J: Glancing at N with crossed arms "Sacrifice? Our friendship is dead at this point, trying to rebuild a relationship with him is basically impossible now."

N: "You didn't even try."

J: Raising an eyebrow "Well, did you try?"

N: "I mean, no, but at least I'm enjoying my time right now with him, even if we're not talking at all and i feel very bad for what happened to him, you on the other hand don't seem to care at all, like he was still your friend, J."

J: "I mean, yeah, but he would avoid socializing with me most of the time, so it's not like it changes a lot."

N: Looking doubtful "Mhm, what about that time he supported you when you felt demotivated for whatever reason?"

While the discussion between N and J was continuing, V tried to speak to G, who seemed to be deep in thought.

V: Looking neutral "G? I know it's none of my business, but, what are you thinking about? It doesn't seem to be something good judging by your expression."

G: "It's nothing… it's just that me and friend Uzi have made some discoveries these days… discoveries about me."

V: Looking very interested "Really?"

Uzi: Glancing at V "Yeah, i forgot to tell you, but i investigated a bit like i promised and i found a lot of stuff."

V quickly changed her seat to stay next to Uzi, which she and G didn't mind.

V: "Come on, tell me everything."

Uzi smiled and leaned closer to V, as she started whispering everything to her, V listened intently and her expression changed from interest, to surprise, to shock and confusion.

V: "Wait, he seriously has no code!?"

Uzi: Looking just as confused "That's right, i don't know how it's possible."

V: "And the glitches inside his mind, the doctor taking his own life, it's all so cryptic, it has to relate to his memory loss."

Uzi: "Maybe, but like, i don't even know what theories to make at this point."

G: Scooting closer to Uzi "I may have a theory."

Uzi and V look at G with curiosity in their expressions.

G: Looking unsure "So, what if I'm not really a drone, but something else instead? Or maybe I'm half drone and half something."

V and Uzi look at each other for a second, before focusing on him again.

Uzi: "That… makes no sense."

V: "No, G has a point, maybe he really is a hybrid."

Uzi: Looking at V "I think that's dumb, i don't see how that's supposed to be possible when he's clearly all metal and wires like any other robot."

G lowered his head and put a hand on his chin to think of a better theory while V and Uzi were discussing the situation, but after a few seconds, his head started shooting sparkles again, which caused everyone to instantly silence and stare at him in shock.

J: "What the hell was that."

G: Rubbing his head in pain "Don't worry… it's normal… i think-"

More sparkles started shooting out of G's head, along with his visor starting to glitch too, all while he held his hands on his head and groaned in pain.
He tried to stand up, but he slipped and fell down, V tried to fly and pick him up before he could hit the ground, but she failed.
V stood next to G's body, while J and N landed near them, with Uzi staying on J's back to get down too.
They all watched as G regenerated, everyone, even J looked concerned about what just happened.
G opened his eyes and didn't move at all, he was just staring at the sky with a straight face.

V: "G? G, can you hear me?"

G turned his head towards V for a moment, before slowly looking at the rest of the group and then his hands without making any reaction.

J: Sounding a bit annoyed "Oh, don't tell me his memories got reset again."

V: "I don't think so, i hope…"

G's expression suddenly turned into shock and horror, before standing up and backing away while continuing to stare at his hands and starting to hyperventilate, which made everyone more concerned, but also confused.

V: Taking a step forward "…G?"

When he heard V's voice, G immediately flied away without saying a word.
Everyone stared at where he went in surprise for a few seconds, before they all looked at each other.

J: "What the hell was that!?"

V: "I don't know, but we have to search for him now before he does something stupid."

J: "…Great idea."

J didn't waste a second to fly where G went and N quickly followed behind her, but, V just glanced at Uzi instead and she stared at her back.

V: Smiling determinately "You know what to do, right?"

Uzi just smiled back, also determined, as she immediately understood V's assignment and climbed on her back, before V started flying in the air too, where she quickly reunited with J and N.

J: Smiling amusingly "You really had to bring the purple thing with us, didn't you?"

Uzi: Looking annoyed "Bite me!"

J's smile faded, as rolled her eyes in annoyance, she distanced herself from V and Uzi.

V: "Sigh… sorry, she just can't help it, i hope she didn't offend you."

Uzi: "Nah, I'm used to it-" Her eyes widen in surprise "Wait, do you care about me?"

V: "Uhm… can we talk about this another time? This isn't a good moment to do that now."

Uzi: Suspecting something about V silently "Mhm… sure…"

Suddenly, N stopped while staring at a specific house.

N: "I think i saw him, follow me."

N landed in front of the abandoned building, with J and V doing the same right after.
As they all entered the broken house, the first thing they saw was G sitting on the floor, leaned on a wall, hugging his legs and hiding his crying face in them, seeing him in this state made everyone's concern return again.
V tried to walk closer to him, but, Uzi held an arm in front of her.

V: Looking at Uzi slightly surprised "Uzi, you don't need to-"

Uzi: Interrupting V, looking serious "No, G did a lot for me since we met and now I'm going to be the one helping him."

V didn't protest and she took a step back while Uzi got closer to G, she stood in front of him, not really knowing what to do to get his attention, she tried to gently raise his head, but he quickly moved it away and spoke up, for some reason his voice sounded a bit lower than usual.

G: "Leave me alone, please…"

Uzi: Staring at him sadly "…No, i…"

Struggling to think of something to say, Uzi decided to just straight up hug him tightly in hopes of comforting him.
After a few seconds, V decided to join Uzi and not shortly after, N joined too, J looked a bit troubled as she stared at them, but after a bit she sighed and decided to hug G just like the others did and eventually, his cries came to a stop.
The group leaned away from G and looked as he slowly uncovered his face, he then proceeded to slowly stand up and silently stare at everyone, still looking a bit sad, but also nervous now.

V: "G… what's going on? You need to give us an explanation."

G: Lowering his head while fidgeting with his fingers "I… uhm… i…"

Seeing his struggle, V puts a supportive hand on his shoulder and makes a soft smile.

V: "You can tell us, we promise to not judge you no matter how bad it is."

J: "Yeah, i literally kill people every night as a job, i can't judge at all."

G raised his head and took a deep breath.

G: "Okay…"

The three disassembly drones and Uzi were standing there patiently, waiting for him to explain the situation.

G: Glancing away "Well, first of all… my… my memories came back.. and they mixed with the new ones…"

Everyone's eyes widened, but they all held themselves from reacting to not overwhelm G.

G: "But, this isn't the important part…" Glancing back at his friends "Before i lost my memories i always had a secret that i never wanted to share with you three.. and now it's the perfect time for it.. and Uzi should know this secret too…

G's nervousness grew, as all of his friends looked interested in what this secret is.

G: "…I'm… a… a human…"

This time no one could contain their shock and they stared at him with their mouths open in disbelief.

Uzi: "Wait, what!?"

N: "But that's impossible, you're clearly a robot made of metal, how can you be a human!?"

G: "I'll try to explain everything as clearly as possible.
I didn't have the greatest life when i lived on earth, i have a bad past to say the least… but despite that, i was often be complimented thanks to all of the machines i would build.
Everyone loved my projects, well, except my parents, they hate futuristic technology and they were always disappointed in me enough to kick me out of their home, but i had the money to buy a house for myself at the time, so it didn't matter.
One day i decided to start working for JcJenson, thinking that it would be a wonderful job for me, i was so wrong… i felt like a slave during my shifts, always making me work more than usual, because i was so good at doing what i do best and my co-workers were just awful in every way possible.
I was tired of my life, but when the manager talked about sending killer robots to Copper-9, i saw an opportunity.

How i lost my memories? I modified G's body a bit and added a small gray button behind his head that did just that when pressed and it worked for a while, before my mind glitched and i regained all my old memories.. and the button doesn't seem to work anymore, unfortunately.

As shocked as everyone was, they couldn't help, but feel bad for him.

V: "You're really the one that tested us, are you?"

G: "I am…"

V, N and J all looked at each other for a few seconds, as all the memories of him treating them very nicely while testing them filled their minds and the thought that they've always been on Copper-9 with that person made them very happy, even if they didn't show it much.

J: "Okay, but, why did you do all of this?"

G: "To start a new life, a better one, i just wanted my memories wiped forever, so that i could've lived without my traumas following me everywhere…" Looking away "Well, it's okay if you hate me for what i did, i shouldn't have kept this secret for so long, i was just scared of what would've happened if i revealed it."

V: Chuckling softly and smiles "No, why would we?"

G: Looking at V, slightly surprised "I lied to all of you, i would always treat you badly in the past and i feel like Uzi should hate the most, because I'm still a human in the end…"

Uzi lowered her head and thought about what G said about her.

V: "Absolutely not, me, N and J still remember the day you tested our codes, you interacted with us to see if we worked correctly, you're the only human that treated us like people and not like objects.. and we couldn't be more happy to hear that you stayed around us all this time.
We don't care about all those moments where you insulted us or stuff like that, you were in a bad mental state and we understand your actions.
So, don't feel bad now, ignore your traumas, your plan was to have a better life and you achieved that."

N: Also smiling softly "V is right, you're literally considered the hero of this planet, everyone loves you and always want to meet you and you have real friends now too, you may have traumas and probably depression, but you can get through that easily with time."

G: "I… maybe you're right." Smiling back at them "I don't know what to say, thank you, all of you."

V: "No need to thank, we just want you to be happy.
Do you want us to stay with you? To just continue spend some time together."

G: "No, sorry, i want to stay alone to think of my future."

V: "Oh, it's fine.

V flied out of the broken building using a large hole in the ceiling.

J: "See you in the next fight, I'll definitely tolerate you more when you'll interrupt my job."

J flies outside too.

N: "Uhm… i don't know what to say, but i wish you a happy new life, man."

N left, leaving Uzi alone with G.

Uzi: Staring at G "Huh… well, i can't fly, so you will have to take me home."

G: "No, i want you to stay if that's okay."

Uzi: Looking a bit surprised "What? Didn't you just say that you wanted to stay alone?"

G: "I lied, i want to be with you for a bit more time."

Uzi: Slightly blushing "Oh, that's perfectly fine for me."

With Uzi on his back, G went on the roof of the same tall building he was sitting at earlier with the other murder drones.
When the two sat on the same edge, they both stayed silent for a moment, before G spoke.

G: Looking serious "Sigh… i still can't believe what happened."

Uzi: Feeling a bit anxious "Me too, i didn't expect you to be a human."

G: Glancing at Uzi "But, you don't hate me because of that, right?"

Uzi: Looking at G, slightly confused "Huh? Of course not, i hate humanity with a passion, but you're an exception with everything that you did for me."

G: "But i didn't have my memories at the time, does it really count?"

Uzi: Punching his shoulder playfully "Of course it does, silly.
Can i consider you a human anyway? You have a completely different body, you're basically a robot that works without a code."

G: Smiling softly "Heh, you're right, I'm being too negative."

G: "Yeah?"

Uzi: "You know that before you deleted your memories you killed worker drones like there was no tomorrow, was it because you hated people like me at the time or was there another reason?"

G's expression turned into guilt, as the topic seemed to do an effect on him.

G: "I was doing it to blend in with the other disassembly drones, if i didn't kill anyone they would've immediately understood that something was wrong with me.
I always had a soft spot for sentient robots, so, those nights were mentally painful… i would always tell to myself that they're just robots made by a company that i hate, but then I'd realize that i did build or test some of these people myself…"

Feeling bad for him, Uzi patted his back gently and looked at him concerned.

Uzi: "So, you always wanted to be a hero from the start, right?"

G: "Ehhh, not really, it wasn't my intention at first, to be honest my plan was just to go on Copper-9, delete my memories and hope that I'll have a better life, it was risky, but i think that the risk was worth it.
I mean, i became a hero thanks to you in the end, i should repay you one day."

Uzi: Looking surprised "Thanks to me? How?"

G: "Don't you remember when we met and you told me all that stuff to become a hero and save innocent people? Imagine what would've happened if you never found me."

Uzi's expression turned into shock, as G's words made her realize who she created.

G: Chuckling and making a soft smile again "Shocking, huh? The great hero of Copper-9 exists only thanks to you."

Uzi: Shaking her head "Oh, hehe, you're right, i didn't know what to say for a moment, this information just shocked me."

G: "It's understandable.
How about we just chill now and don't think about anything?"

Uzi: "Hm… okay."

As they both stared at the sky, G suddenly pulled Uzi closed to him, making her freeze for a second and blush deeply.
Uzi glanced at him, feeling even more anxious, as she wanted to ask him something.
