Uzi took a deep breath and found the courage to ask G, the question.

Uzi: "U-uhm… G?"

G: Looking at Uzi "Yeah?"

Uzi: Looking away, failing to hide her anxiety "I-i just wanted to ask… huh… you know that we've been best friends for, a while now."

G: Chuckling softly "You want us to start dating, right?"

Uzi: Widening her eyes in shock "I-i! Y-yes, I'd love to… it was obvious, huh?.."

G: "Very obvious.
Anyways, do i want to date you? Hmm…" Glancing away

Uzi looked at G nervously, hoping that he'll give the answer that she wants.

G: "Well…" glancing back at Uzi "Of course! Why would i not? I feel like we're made to be together."

Uzi: Looking excited and shocked "R-really!?"

G: "Yeah, i mean, we always support each other, we can relate to a lot of things, we want to stay next to each other every day and you're also kinda cute, which is bonus points, so yeah, I'm fine with dating you."

Uzi stared at him in silence for a few seconds, not expecting him to answer so confidently, after a bit she shook her head and composed herself.

Uzi: "I, uhm… wow, i didn't expect you to be this confident, but, maybe it's better like this." Fidgeting with her fingers "So, we're a couple now, I'm your girlfriend and you're my boyfriend… I'll need to get used to this fast."

G: Glancing away while rubbing the back of head "Now that you mention it, I'll need to do that too."

There was a moment of awkward silence for a few seconds.

G: Glancing at Uzi "So, what do couples usually do?"

Uzi: "Well…" Smiling widely while looking excited "They share the news to the whole world!"

Uzi quickly stood up and wrapped an arm around G, before taking her phone and holding it in front of them.

Uzi: "Come on, say cheese."

G was caught off guard, but he quickly recomposed himself and smiled.

G: "Cheese!"

Uzi took the selfie and didn't waste a second to share it.

Uzi: Grinning excitedly "I'm going to make so many people jealous, hehehe…" Rubbing her chin "Hm, what should the caption be? 'Guess what, girls!' No no no, that's cringe, huh… 'Guess who's dating the hero of Copper-9?" Yes, that's perfect."

As Uzi was making the post on Dronernet, G just stayed in his place patiently, but while he was looking around to pass the time, he noticed in the distance the figures of two disassembly drones floating in the air staring at him, he couldn't understand who they were, as they were hiding inside the fog, but he could see them moving and talking to each other, he was too far away from them to understand what they were saying, but he could manage to hear that both of their voices sounded feminine.

???: Sounding excited "Gasp he saw me, he's looking at me oh my god!" Gripping at ??'s uniform "He fricking noticed me, he knows that i exist-"

??: Pushing ??? away, sounding annoyed "Ugh! Yeah yeah, i get it, no need to overreact."

???: Lowering her head, feeling guilty "Sorry…" Raising her head to look at ?? "Can i go talk to him?"

??: "Absolutely not! It's not our job to deal with his idiot, the disassembly drones on this side of the planet will take care of him."

???: "Aww… so, why are we here?"

??: "I was just curious to see if he was dead already and somehow three murderous machines still didn't take down one of their kind, such idiots."

???: "…Does he really need to be killed-"

??: Yelling with an angry tone "He's not working like he should, you fucking dumbass! Did they code you with a piece of butter or what!?"

???: Flinching at the yell "O-okay okay! I understand..."

??: Calming down "Sigh… come on, let's go now."

G saw the two mysterious figures fly away.

G: "Hey, wait!"

He tried to reach them, but they were nowhere to be found.
He scratched his head in confusion.

G: "Weird.
I bet it's just N and J pranking me."

G then noticed Uzi trying to yell something at him, so he quickly flied back to her.

Uzi: Looking a bit angry "Hey, were you trying to leave me here!?" Crossing her arms "Not a great start to your boyfriend role."

G: "Hehe, i wasn't trying to leave you here, it's just that i saw two disassembly drones floating in the air and i wanted to see who they were, but i couldn't catch them in time."

Uzi: Raising an eyebrow "Two disassembly drones you say?"

G: "Yes, but like i said to myself earlier, it's probably just N and J wanting to prank me."

Uzi: "Hm, i guess.
I doubt JcJenson would randomly send new murder drones, they would never do that… right?"

G: "Yeah, i doubt it too, don't worry about that."

G was confident of his answer, but, Uzi seemed to still have some doubts.

G: "Come on, don't make that face, everything's going to be okay, they don't call me a hero for no reason, hehe."

Uzi: Faking a smile "You're right, everything is going to be fine-"

Suddenly, someone called Uzi, which startled her a bit, when she saw that Nori was the one calling, her expression turned into horror.

Uzi: "Oh god, it's my mom, she's probably mad at me for not getting back home."

G stood there in silence and let Uzi talk, who turned around and distanced herself from him, looking a bit scared.

Uzi: "He-hey, mom."

Nori: Yelling with a furious tone "Uzi, where the hell are you!? You've been outside for more than 20 minutes by now."

Uzi: "I thought you said that I'm old enough to do whatever i want."

Nori: "Well, of course, but there are still some limits, you can't stay up all night and think that you can go to school without problems, do you want to end up like that kid whose system turned off mid-lesson, because he didn't sleep enough?"

Uzi: Sounding more annoyed "Ugh, again with that story? It's not convincing."

Nori: "It's not my fault if nothing interesting happens at your school." Lowering her tone "Sigh… anyways, what did you even do with G to stay out for so long?"

Uzi: Widening her eyes in surprise, not knowing how to respond "Uhm… let's say that something happened."

Nori: Raising an eyebrow "Duh, can you be more specific?"

Uzi lowered her phone and turned around to look at G.

Uzi: "Can i tell her everything?"

G: "Is your mom good at keeping secrets?"

Uzi: "I think so."

G: "Hmm… fine, i trust her, i guess."

Uzi then turned around again and raised her phone close to her face.

Uzi: "Okay, but promise to keep this a secret."

Nori: "I see, you can tell me everything, in my dorm right now, so there is no one around me right now."

Uzi: "Okay okay…" Taking a deep breath "So, G got his memories back."

Nori: Widening her eyes in surprise and smiling "Oh, well, that's great news, isn't it?"

Uzi: "Yeah… well, he told me about his past and… how do i say this? He's a human."

Nori was so in disbelief that her expression and tone didn't change.

Nori: "…Excuse me what?"

Uzi: "You heard that right, G was or technically still is a human, he worked for JcJenson, he transferred his consciousness inside the murder drone he is now and here we are, that is the reason he can function perfectly without having any code."

Nori: "…You can't be-"

Uzi: "And we're also dating… yup."

Nori: Taking a deep breath "Uzi, get your ass at home, now."

Uzi: Feeling intimidated "Okay, see you later, mom."

Nori: "Bye, sweetheart."

Uzi hung up the call.

G: "Are you okay? Is Nori angry?"

Uzi: Looking at G "I have no idea honestly, i only know that you need to take me home as soon as possible."

G: Raising his eyebrows in surprise "Damn, let's go then."

G flied as fast as he could towards Nori's bunker, with Uzi on his back, praying in her head that her mom isn't going to be mad at her.
As they landed in front of the building, they immediately noticed the entrance already open, with Nori standing outside with her arms crossed and tapping her foot on the ground, Uzi anxiously approached her, with G following behind, feeling slightly nervous.

Nori: Staring at Uzi with a serious expression "Took you long enough."

Uzi: Faking a smile "Hehe, i know, i know…"

Nori: "…Come on, go to sleep, now.
We'll do a little talk tomorrow."

Uzi sighed and walked inside the building without protesting, Nori looked at G and took a step towards him.

G: Smiling nervously "hey, N-nori… uhm…"

Nori: "So, Uzi wasn't lying on the phone earlier, is that right? You really what she told me?"

G: Frowning in defeat "Yes, she said the truth…"

Nori: "…Sigh… look, I'm sure you're a good person and that i should not judge you so soon, but, you're dating my daughter now, soooo… I'll make it quick, treat Uzi like you always did when you didn't have your memories, don't you dare use her for your own stuff just because you're way stronger than her, and i may sound paranoid, but please don't try to take over this planet."

G: Understanding Nori's fears "Oh, i see, don't worry, I'd never treat Uzi badly or use her for any reason and i definitely won't start killing everyone just like that, I'm a hero now and I'll do everything to keep that role."

Nori: "I hope that your words are true."

There a few seconds of silence after that, until said silence was suddenly broken.

Nori: Looking troubled "I'm sorry for making you seem like a bad person, it's just that, Uzi bombarded me with so much information and you know what people like me think of your kind."

G: "It's okay, i completely understand."

Nori: Smiling "…Well, you can go now, enjoy your life as a… robo-human."

G: "Just consider me a disassembly drone, it's who i want to be and what i technically am in my opinion."

Nori: "..Disassembly drone it is.
See ya, my friend."

G: Smiling back "See you too-"

Nori: "Actually wait a moment, one last question?"

G: Raising an eyebrow in curiosity "Yes?"

Nori: "Just to be sure, how old are you?"

G: "I'm 21."

Nori: Feeling relieved "Good, you can date my daughter then.
Sorry for this personal question, you can guess why i asked you that."

G: "I can understand very well."

Nori: "Yeah… well, you can go now, for real this time."

G: "Okay, bye, friend Nori."

Nori noticed that G's voice pitched up a bit when he said her name/nickname, but didn't think too much about it, she stared at him flying away for a few seconds, before walking back inside the bunker.

G: "Hm… what can i do now? …I know!"

G flied at the very end of the apocalyptic city and landed in front of the four landing pods that were used to send him and the other disassembly drones on Copper-9.

G: Putting his hands on his hips with a smile "Ah, home sweet home… i guess." Walking towards the landing pods "Now, which one was mine? Huh… the one on the very right? Yeah, it was that one for sure."

As G was walking towards his landing pod, he heard noises coming from the one on the very left, he stopped in his tracks to listen to said noises and realized it was just J and N talking to each other and having a good time.

G: "Maybe i should join them…"

He stood there in silence for a moment, before making a decision and approached J's landing pod, he knocked on the entrance and waited as the noise suddenly died.
J opened the door and looked a bit surprised to see him on the other side.

J: "Oh, hey, man.
Is there any problem?"

G: "No, i just wanted to ask if i could join you two on… whatever you guys are doing."

J: Smiling amusingly "Heh, that was unexpected, but sure, come in."

G smiled as he walked inside the landing pod and sat down on the floor.

G: "So, what were you and N doing earlier?"

J: "Nothing special, just talking about random topics to kill time."

G: "I see, it's not something i would expect from you.
I thought you two were going around killing people."

J: "Nah! We didn't want to stress you out after you regained your memories, so this entire night is going to be a break for us."

G: "Huh, pretty nice gesture for someone like you."

J: Looking proud of herself "Hehe, no need to thank me."

G: Looking around wondering something "…Where's V, by the way?"

N: "She's alone in her landing pod.
She's isolating herself so much these days."

G: Looking surprised and concerned too "Jeez, why's that?"

J: Not looking interested in the topic "Probably because of something associated with you, David.
She's been so attached to you it's becoming frustrating."

G: "…Wow… i should talk to her one day then."

J: "Oh, please do! I can't stand seeing her doing anything, but her job."

N rolled his eyes in annoyance, seeing that J still seems to only care about V not doing her job.

G: Smiling "Anyways, what do we do?"

The day after.
The sun was shining, the four murder drones were sleeping in their respective landing pods, meanwhile, Uzi was just returning to her dorm after school, feeling nervous, because she knew she had to talk to her mom now., in fact, Nori was waiting for her right in front of her dorm, staring at Uzi with a sharp stare.

Nori: "Open the door."

Uzi: "Yeah yeah, no need to tell me."

Uzi opened the entrance with her dorm's keys and walked inside with their mom.

Nori: "Sigh… let's do this quickly, alright?"

Uzi: Putting her school bag on the floor "Okay…" Lowering her head with a guilty expression "I'm sorry for starting to date G, i didn't think that him being in-part human would make you this mad, but yeah… I'll break with him whenever i can…"

Nori: Smiling "I'm happy that you apologized, but there's something you got wrong, i wasn't angry at the time." Raising her voice in excitement and smiling widely "I was in disbelief and after the phone call i was so happy for you and i still am!"

Uzi: Looking at Nori in confusion "What? I thought that you were angry at me."

Nori: "Oh, no no no no, that was all an act."

Uzi: Widening her eyes in surprise "An.. act?"

Nori: "Yes, i couldn't look excited like this in front of G, he's a special person and i had to look professional, you know?"

Uzi: Raising her voice in slight anger "The entire time i thought that you hated me for being with G, i almost couldn't sleep, because i thought that i did something bad and you were just acting!?"

Nori: "Hehehe, sorry, i couldn't help myself."

Uzi: Pouting "Screw your excuses…"

Nori: "But yeah, this means that you can continue to date him, i mean, who wouldn't want to see their own daughter date a celebrity?"

Uzi: Lowering her voice, calming down "Dad…"

Nori: "…He doesn't count."

Uzi: Making a small smile "Hehe, of course he doesn't."

Nori: Smirking "Anyways, since you and G are dating, i wanted to propose you something."

Uzi: Raising an eyebrow in interest "Mhm?"

Nori: "Well, i was thinking that this bunker just isn't a good place for you to continue your life, the school teaches nothing important, you always have to hear your father spitting bullshit on your face, this and that, soooo… how about you get to live with your beloved boyfriend instead?"

Uzi: Looking shocked "W-what!? You want to kick me out?!"

Nori: "It's your choice, I'm not forcing you."

Uzi: "That's a stupid idea, mom, G doesn't have a home, he probably just sleeps inside abandoned buildings like every other murder drone, how am i supposed to live like that!?"

Nori: "The murder drones landed on this planet with landing pods, he likely calls that his home."

Uzi: "Still, don't you think it's dangerous since there are other murder drones that very likely want me dead?"

Nori: Lowering her head putting a hand on her chin "Hm… i didn't think about that…" Looking at Uzi again "Okay, how about we talk about it with G tonight? He has more knowledge than us about the dangers of the night hours."

Uzi: Sighing in defeat "Fine… but just because I'm interested in the idea."

Nori: Smiling proudly "That's my girl."

Uzi: "I'm 19, mom…"

Nori: "…That's my young woman."

Later that night.
J was floating above a bunker she planned to attack, N wasn't there with her, so she would kill everyone all alone and that made her happy.
She stared at the building with a sadistic smile for a few seconds.

J: "I'm so hungry… this is going to be fun-"

She was suddenly interrupted by a loud whistle coming from behind her, she turned around in confusion and saw G standing on top of a tall building, staring at her with a menacing and serious expression and his arms crossed, but this time, J wasn't frustrated or annoyed and just smirked playfully while G flied in front of her with a playful smile too.

J: "Well well well."

G: "Well well well."

J: "Well well well!"

G: "What were you trying to do, Huh?"

J: "Absolutely nothing, mr.hero of Copper-9."

G: "Mhm, are you sure?"

J: Rolling her eyes playfully "Hmm… okay, you got me, i wanted to kill some innocent worker drones, but unfortunately, you came here to stop me.
I'll now go cry over myself alone while drinking oil inside of an abandoned factory, see ya!"

J flied away, having enjoyed the small interaction, the same could be said for G.

G: "Jeez, i didn't think that gaining my old memories would make her this friendly, i never thought I'd do such an effect on her and the others."

Suddenly, he heard someone from below calling his name and when he looked down he saw Uzi staring back at him, which didn't surprise G that much.
He landed in front of her with a nonchalant expression.

G: "Whatever you have to say, make it quick, you know that staying outside at night is dangerous for you."

Uzi: Smiling "I know, in fact, can we go at my place now? Me and my mom need to talk to you for something important."

G: Raising an eyebrow in interest "Really? Okay then, get on my back."

A few minutes later.
G followed Uzi inside the bunker's hallways, curious to where she was taking him, he was about to ask just that, until he realized that Uzi took him in front of her dorm, where Nori was standing next to the entrance and a suitcase with a bored expression, she looked relieved upon noticing them.

Nori: "Finally you two are here, i was dying of boredom."

Uzi: "No need to be this dramatic, mom."

G seemed confused upon noticing the suitcase.

G: "So, what did you two want to talk to me about?"

Uzi and Nori looked at him when he remember them the reason he was brought here.

Nori: "Oh, right…" Feeling confident "So, i know that you have a job to do, so I'll do this quickly.
Uzi wants to live with you."

G: Widening his eyes in surprise "W-what!?"

Nori: "You heard me right, G.
You live in a landing pod, right? She can easily stay there."

G: "I mean, y-yeah, my landing pod is basically my home, but this is still not a good idea."

Nori: Putting her hands on her hips "Why? You two love each other, i think it would be better if my daughter moved to stay closer to his loved one."

G: "Well, if you look at it like that it sounds like a great thing, but you also have to take in count that a landing pod isn't as comfortable as a dorm.. there's no TV, no closet, it's claustrophobic and the only thing that you could call a bed is the pilot's seat, along with that there is also the fact that she's more vulnerable to the other disassembly drones, who I'm sure want her dead."

Nori: Not changing her confident look one bit "I'm sure that you can convince your friends to not kill my daughter and don't worry about the landing pod being uncomfortable, having to hear my husband talk about nonsense every day is worse."

G: "And what about school? I can't take her back here for that every single day."

Nori: "Don't worry about that, she's not going there anymore, i heard that the teacher never does his job, so it's basically a waste of time for her."

G lowered his head, pinching the center of his visor in frustration and sighed.

Nori: "Come on, don't react like that, i know it may sound stressful at first, but I'm sure you'll do just fine, Uzi isn't a child, she can take of herself easily, you're just being paranoid."

G raised his head and looked at Uzi, who was staring at him with a straight expression waiting for his decision.
He glanced back at Nori and sighed.

G: "Fine, but I'm taking her back here if things get too dangerous-"

He was suddenly interrupted by Uzi suddenly hugging him tightly, which surprised him and left him frozen for a moment.

Uzi: "Thank you, G, I'm so grateful."

G's expression softened at those words and he gently hugged her back.

Nori: Speaking to herself, looking proud of Uzi "I'm so happy for her, they grow up so fast."

A few minutes later.
G and Uzi were outside the bunker, ready to go, until Uzi turned around to look at her mother, who was looking at her proud, as starting a new chapter of her life.
Uzi ran towards Nori and hugged her, letting a few tears stream down her face, Nori just slowly hugged back.

Uzi: "I-I'll miss you, mom…"

Nori: Caressing Uzi's head "You're overreacting now, sweetheart, you know that you can come visit me whenever you want."

Uzi: "I-i know, but… it's still a bit painful… my life is gonna be so different from now on."

Nori: "Yes, but it's for the better, so don't think too much about it… come on now, G is waiting for you, it's time to go."

Uzi: "O-okay…" Looking at Nori "Promise me that you'll not argue often with dad."

Nori: "Oh, you're asking for the impossible now, because he'll get very angry when he'll find out that you moved out."

Uzi smiled and chuckled lightly at Nori's response, she leaned away and stared at her in silence for a few seconds, before turning around and approaching G.

Uzi: "W-we can go, G…"

G looked at her with a sympathetic expression, letting her climb on his back without saying a word, before holding her suitcase tightly and finally flying towards his landing pod.
Nori stared at the sky where the two went, with some tears forming in her eyes, before turning around and speaking to a worker drone nearby.

Nori: "Close the door, thanks."

After a few minutes, G landed in front of the four landing pods and Uzi followed him to the one he lives in, when G opened the entrance door, she was met by a small space with only a control panel to use the pod and the pilot's seat.

Uzi: Looking around "Oh… this is cool, i guess."

G: "Yeah, i told you that it's a boring place."

Uzi: "No no, it's okay, I'll get used to it.
Uhm… is the seat bendable?"

G: "Yeah, it is, you can use it as a bed if you want."

Uzi: "That was my plan… so, i guess I'll just tidy up my suitcase, since it's going to be my small closet from now on, meanwhile you'll go out there saving lives as usual."

G sits on the floor and relaxes by putting his hand behind his head while smiling.

G: "Nah, not now."

Uzi: Looking surprised and a bit confused too "What? You're seriously going to procrastinate when there are people in danger!?"

G: "Danger? Pfft! Can't you hear that the others are inside the landing pod next to ours? I'll get to work when they'll do the same."

Uzi stared at the wall in front of her silently and heard V, N and J arguing about something, but it was very hard to hear their words.

Uzi: "Damn, how did i not hear them earlier? I must be deaf.
Oh well, if you're gonna stay here for a bit then I'm not complaining."

Meanwhile inside of V's landing pod.
V was sitting on the floor with her arms crossed while pouting, facing the wall instead of N and J, who were both standing in front of her, J was mad as hell at her, while N was getting tired of the entire argument going on.

J: "Oh my god, V, I'm tired of you lazing out, why can't you at least tell us why you're acting like this!?"

V: "…Because i don't trust you…"

J: "What the fuck does that mean!?"

V: "…"

J picked up V from her coat and held her in the air, forcing V to stare at her, but her serious expression wouldn't change.
N was surprised by this action, while J's right eye started flickering from how angry she was.

J: "WHY ARE YOU NOT KILLING WORKER DRONES ANYMORE!? YOU WERE ONE OF THE BEST IN THE GROUP, YOU WERE UNSTOPPABLE! WHAT CAUSED YOU TO SOFTEN SO MUCH TO THE POINT OF ISOLATING YOURSELF INSIDE YOUR STUPID LANDING POD!?"

V: "I won't tell you…"

J: "DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG!? IS IT, DAVID!? OR…" Calming down and lowering her voice in realization "That purple girl…"

V's eyes widened in terror when hearing that last phrase, she escaped J's grip and clenched her fists.

V: "Don't you dare lay a finger on Uzi."

J: Smiling and putting her hands on her hips "I see, she's the cause of your problem.
It makes sense."

V: "Don't ignore me! You're not planning to do what I'm thinking, right?"

J: Rolling her eyes playfully "Nah! Don't worry, David would hate me for the rest of his life if i laid a finger on her and i don't want that of course."

V: "Hm.. i don't trust you."

J: "Not surprised." Walking out of the pod "Come on, N, it's time to work."

N: "Okay, What about V?"

J: "Let her do what she wants, i don't have time for her now."

N and V look at each other, with him feeling bad for her.

V: "Just go, don't waste your time with me."

N slowly turned around, approaching J outside and closing the pod's door.

J: Still smiling "Come on, man, don't look so sad, it's not time to be a softie like V."

N: "Sorry, it's just that… I'm scared for her…"

J: Raising an eyebrow in curiosity "What do you mean by that?"

N: Looking worried "Well, what if JcJenson finds out that she's not working? They'll take her away, replace her and then… she'll be abandoned and the same will be for G now that i think about it."

J's smile faded and started worrying too.

J: "Well, i never thought about that… you think they would really do that?"

N: "Of course they would, if they see one of us not doing their job then they'll obviously do a replacement."

J: Trying to act nonchalant to hide her concern "W-well, I'm sure that's not going to happen and the company didn't even install cameras on us to spy our movements, we can just lie to them and everyone's going to be fine."

N: Lowering his head "Yeah… telling a lie won't hurt…"

While N kept his head lowered, J flied away without waiting for him.

J: Smiling "Come on, I'm not gonna wait for you!"

N: Looking up in surprise and quickly flying towards J "Hey!"

G stood up from the floor of his pod after hearing J and N leaving, he looked at Uzi, who was still organizing her suitcase.

G: "Well, I'm going now, Uzi, i heard J and N flying away to do you know what."

Uzi: Looking at him "Hm? Oh, okay, good luck, G.
By the way, did you hear what those idiots were arguing about earlier inside the pod next to ours?"

G: "No, i didn't pay attention to it and honestly i don't care."

Uzi: "I understand- Oh, and one more thing!"

G: "Mhm?"

Uzi stood up, rubbing her arm nervously while glancing at the floor.

Uzi: "Uhm… i know you're not your childish self anymore now that you have your old memories back, but… could you still call me 'friend Uzi'? I really got attached to that nickname."

G: Widening his eyes slightly in surprise and smiling "Hehe, of course i can, friend Uzi, actually i think it would be better if i called you 'girlfriend Uzi' instead."

Uzi: Smiling back "Yes, that would be fantastic."

G: "Perfect! And by the way don't think that childish and cheerful version of me is gone, my old memories are mixed up with the new ones i made since we met each other, so expect to see the real G in motion at any time."

Uzi: "Well, your voice did sound like the one you had when you still didn't have your memories earlier."

G: "See? I told you, i never lie.
Now, if you excuse me, there are two bad guys i have to take care of, see you in the morning!"

G ran out of the landing pod, leaving Uzi alone, who stood there in silence for a second, her smile widening slightly.

Uzi: "Sigh… what a person, what did i do to deserve him…"

She then looked at her suitcase, the inside still looking a bit messy and her smile quickly faded.
