Ember Control
The next day, Kazuki trudged to the library, his brow furrowed with determination, to search for a book on nature transformation—a key to mastering and controlling elemental jutsu, basically chakra control for elemental techniques.
While scanning the shelves, Kazuki's eyes narrowed in thought, 'Naruto used the wind-cutting exercise to make Rasenshuriken, so there should be something similar for fire style as well.' he mused, his fingers brushing against dusty tomes.
After what felt like an eternity of searching, Kazuki's face lit up with a triumphant grin as he finally found a scroll titled Nature Transformation Exercises.
He carried the scroll home, his steps lighter with anticipation, and eagerly unrolled it to read. After poring over its contents, Kazuki frowned, his mind racing, 'This is quite different from the wind-cutting exercise. I thought for fire style there would be leaf-burning or something, but it's a very complex training called Ember Control because, according to this scroll, fire style is the second most difficult technique to master after lightning.'
Kazuki leaned back, his expression pensive as he continued reflecting. 'So, this Ember Control exercise has a total of three stages. The first stage is 'Flame Maintenance,' where the user has to take an already ignited candle and maintain the flame at a constant size by using their flame-release chakra. This jutsu is considered mastered when the user prevents the flame from diminishing in size or flaring up for a total of 10 minutes.'
The second stage is 'Flame Shaping,' where the user has to change the shape of the fire into a sphere, square, or other shapes, which will be considered mastered only when the user can create a thin whip of flame without it making contact with anything,
The third stage is 'Heat Control,' where the user has to increase the heat of the flame without changing its size or shape. This jutsu is considered mastered only when the user is able to melt a thin piece of metal with this heat. It is also written that you can do many jutsu without mastering the third step because it is only used for some particular jutsu so beginners only need to do the first and second step, but I'll master all three while I'm at it.'
He sighed, rubbing his temples, 'Well, I'll start this tomorrow after I buy some candles from a shop. Its good that the academy started paying and I don't have any financial problem right now. Let's see how my progress for other jutsus is going, he thought, his hands moving swiftly to form the signs for the clone jutsu.'
'Clone Jutsu'
Five clones materialized before Kazuki, and he smirked with satisfaction, 'Making multiple clones was very easy. Now I can make as many clones as I want with the chakra I have. Well, its only the basic clone jutsu not the shadow clone so its not a big deal. I'm not a sensor, but I can feel that my chakra control has increased drastically after I started learning the first step of Rasengan. So, next is transformation jutsu.' His hands danced through the signs for the transformation jutsu.
'Transformation Jutsu'
As the smoke cleared, a tall, muscular figure in an orange uniform with spiky golden hair stood in Kazuki's place—yes, it was Goku. Kazuki caught his reflection in the mirror and chuckled, 'Man, the transformation jutsu is the best. I can transform into anyone I want, and this time the transformation is better, but it's still far from perfect. The hair isn't erect like it was in Dragon Ball, and I messed up the kanji on the uniform. There are some small irregularities too. Guess I'll have to practice more before considering this jutsu mastered, practice makes a man perfect after all,'
He shook his head, a faint frown creasing his brow, 'Well, I'm not going to practice substitution jutsu or body flicker today since I practiced them yesterday. My Rasengan training is going well, and I can shake the rubber ball much more than before.'
The next day at the academy, Kazuki sat among his classmates, his curiosity piqued as their teacher, Hiroshi Sasaki, strode in with a serious expression. "Hello, children," Sasaki began, his voice steady but tinged with gravity. "Some of you might be wondering why one of your classmates is missing. The announcement is related to that, so listen carefully. Itachi Uchiha has graduated from the academy."
