Is it really free to publish on FableSpace?
Yes. There are no subscription, listing, or publishing fees for writers or readers. Ads help cover hosting and development costs.
How do I earn money from my stories?
Readers can support you directly through the Ko-fi or Buy Me a Coffee links on your profile. You keep 100% of those donations and FableSpace takes no cut. Stripe and PayPal integrations are in development, and sharing a portion of ad revenue with writers is the goal as the community grows.
Can I add images to my chapters?
Yes. Upload an image from the toolbar, or drag and drop or paste it into the chapter. JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF are supported, and images are optimised in your browser before upload.
Can I write without an internet connection?
Yes. The Studio saves your work in your browser first, so you can keep writing offline. Changes are queued and synced to the cloud automatically once you are back online, and a status badge always shows whether you are saved locally or synced.
Can I schedule chapters and recover older drafts?
Yes. Publish a chapter now or schedule it for a later date and time. The Studio keeps version history with automatic snapshots, named versions, and a safety snapshot before every publish, and you can restore any of them.
Do I keep the rights to my work?
Yes. You retain full ownership of your stories. FableSpace claims no rights over your content, and you can edit, remove, or republish your work elsewhere at any time. You can also choose a license such as All Rights Reserved or a Creative Commons option.
Can I post fanfiction and mature stories?
Fanfiction and mature themes are welcome within our content policy. Mature stories are labelled so readers can opt in. Hate, abuse, and illegal content are not allowed.
