Silver and Blaze were childhood friends. When the cat discovered her fire abilities, she went to school for such talents. The hedgehog wanted to go with her, but he couldn't show any supernatural skills. What he was born for was engineering. At a shop's window, Silver noticed a device glowing yellow that could telekinetically move things, but only towards the user. He decided to buy and upgrade it.

The hedgehog made some improvements. He changed yellow light to cyan and connected wires from the device to his own nerves on his wrists. Unfortunately, he was feeling a terrible pain. When Blaze heard about it, she came often and helped Silver bear the torture. In the end, his body got used to the new appliance. All the pain was worth it. The device really worked - Silver could move stuff however he wanted!

Fast forward...

Silver was going to be sent to the past. He was supposed to fight the evil. Blaze didn't want to let him go alone, but the time capsule was designed for one person. To Silver's surprise, she sneaked into the capsule. They held tight so they could travel safely.

Silver and Blaze made it to the present times and prevented the disaster. They did their job, but didn't feel like coming back. They befriended Sonic and the rest. After all the adventures, the two realised they couldn't live without each other.

One time, the two had to break into an illegal laboratory. There they found Fluo, an experiment subject. They saved him and took care of him like parents. He also accompanied them on missions. But one time, Fluo got stuck in a factory. Surrounded by heavy machinery, Silver and Blaze thought he didn’t make it through. It was heartbreaking, but they had to go on.

After years, Fluo came back, full of fury. He accused the two of leaving him behind. When he realised that he had been replaced by three hedgecats, he got even angrier. Silver and Blaze tried to explain, but it was no use. Fluo kidnapped their kids to make them feel the same. The children got out on their own, but they weren’t mad. The two proved that they still loved Fluo. But the relatives were scared of him, so he left on his own journey.
