"Hey Commander, we just picked up an alliance com bowie. They inbound to pick up captain Taylor and his crew. We be long gone by the time they get here."

Shepards smiles looking over the map "Do not even give them the taillights."

"Aye, Aye." Shepard starts to walk off heading to the armoury, then to the conference room.

Normandy SR2 Conference room

"What do you mean it wasn't you?" Jacob ask confusingly. Eyebrow raised.

"Jacob, if I leaked the information about The Gernsback, I will be smiling at your resolution of the situation. I am not smiling." Illusive man said with a deadpanned expression

"Nothing, and I mean nothing goes through my ship, with out a report to you" Shepard interrupts the conversation between the two.

"I had no more reason about Jacob Farther being alive than he did but I am happy to know, the situation is behind you."

"Fine then if it was not you, then who was it," Jacob ask the Illusive man Inquisitively.

"I did" Miranda sliding into the room, with ship on her shoulder. The silence is palpable.

"Was this to mess with him or help, because with you it hard to tell" Shepard said confused at the situation in front of him.

"ship" Agrees.

"What he did with it was his own business." She looks at Jacob "for a time this matter to you, sending this along felt like a promise. I keep my promises." Jacob nods, Shepard smiles.

"Miranda we will discuss your liberal interpretation of passing security protocols in private. Shepard Jacob." the Illusive man puffs cutting the call.

Miranda looks at the two before speaking. "Shepard, Benjamin is awake, he is in engineering at the moment."

"Ship, Ship" Ship nods Chipley Shepard nods at both. Miranda then leaves with ship and out of the conference room.

Shepard turns to Jacob "Your, okay?"

"It all Bull Shepard, captain Taylor can rot in prison for all I care. It does not change who I am or what I know. I have already mourned the man he used to be he was a good enough father that even he cannot screw up what he taught me."

"You know Why Miranda did this?"

"She has got a good memory selective, but I have not thought about those days in a long-time, cannot figure which promise she meant though. not sure I really want to know. she requires a better man than I. come on we've got work to do" They was a pause for a bit as both head out to the hallway between armoury and Lab. "and Commander," Shepard looks at Jacob "Thanks" Jacob pulls out his hand "No problem, Jacob. Anytime" Shepard shakes it.

Normandy SR2 Engineering deck.

Shepard walks outs the elevator and starts looking around for Ben. What strange is why Ben on this Deck. As Shepard gets to Engineering core he sees Tali.

"Hey Tali" Tali turns around wiggling her fingers "Ah Shepard Glad you stop by; I might need help with something. is that too much?"

Shepard waves his hands "it fine, I am looking for Ben. I am told he came down this Deck."

Tali nods "yes, he was here a few moments ago. He asked Kennith and gabby something then went to the hangar bay, I think."

Shepard nods then ask. "Thanks. So, what do you need help with?"

Tali gets a bit Jumpy "well my people, are charging me with a crime of bringing active Geth to the Floatia and well."

Shepard stops her there. "Have you done that? And what is the punishment for that type of crime with the Floatia?"

Tali shakes her head heavily "No oh Keelah, No. Just parts that could help gives us an advantage Shepard. never whole units of Geth..." The silence stretch fine till Tali continued explaining. "The punishment is Exile. Please Shepard I need help."

Shepards nods "I be their Tali and Garrus too; trust me we get you through this."

"Thanks Shepard, I best get back to work, these shields don't shield themselves you know" Shepard smiles but can tell Tali voiced is strained from the accusations. Hew and Tali hug before Shepard went to talk to his local Engineers. Kennith and Gabby.

Shepard walks over to Kennith and gabby "You two?"

"Ah Commander you here about Ben, are you?" Kennith ask. Who is a muscular Scottish man with A brown goatee and moustache. He is wearing the standard Cerberus uniform. Which is a leather black, yellow and white top, and trousers.

"Kenneth Shut up" Gabby said to her crewmate. She has short brown hair with the same uniform as Kennith. She also has an hourglass figure, and her voice is very American. She is also a no-nonsense woman.

"No Gabby, Kennith is right!" Shepard pointed out.

"really" Kennith was surprised by that, and a little so happy for Gabby taste. So, she Glares at him but responds to Shepard.

"Oh, sorry commander it just, Ben ask us for any app's games for the Omni-tool. Well, more Kennith really. I do not see the point in them." Gabby explained.

"Hey, they are really fun and helps past the boredom." Kenneth explained back.

"Oh, please they rot your brain, I did try to convince Ben, but he look like he needed something to do."

Shepard chuckles at the two and ask Kennith "I'm guessing he got a lot of games then?"

"Oh yes Commander, just stuff to past the time, but when you get the chance. thank Ben for me would you" Shepard eyebrow raised at that.

"I will but why?"

"I would like to know as well, Kennith" Gabby eyebrow.

Kennith was sweating here "Oh nothing just the fact he help boosted my confidence in asking you out." Kennith rubs the back of his neck, but Gabby persists and Shepard notice that these two are a lot closer than they were before.

"Kenneth Donnelly!" 'Ooof Full name' that never goes well Shepard thought.

"I Urm. He notice my apps list and found a certain adult Asri Site. he promise to keep quiet about them" Gabby eyes shot at him like a missile.

"Ommi-tool NOW!" Kenneth did, he knew when he was in the Doghouse from the tone of her voice. As gabby grabbed Kennith arms, deleting all of his adult sites from his omni-tool.

Shepard point and asks. "So, you two now official is it."

Kenneth nods "yes Commander and it was all thanks to Ben, he nudged me right at that. Told me "Gabby makes comments on herself when I make remarks about urm other women, and that I was too stupid to notice that I was making Gabby Jealous."" Gabby smiles at that thanking Ben for Pulling Kenneth out of his Scottish Arse.

"Well, congrats you too., I need to see, Ben. so, I should Go."

A few minutes later

"Well, that was Nice," Kennith said.

"Certainly, Kenneth, now Here is your Ommi-tool Back, with malware that if you ever, add those sites again. They will be deleted, and now" Gabby grabs Kenneth ears. "Ow, Ow"

"We now Dating so if you want to live another day, you do not comment about other women, you do not look at 'sites' and you will Behave got it" Kenneth nods quickly. Gabby smiles, which shivers Kenneth spine quite a bit,

"Good Boy." Gabby pats Kenneth cheek "Now back to work"

"Yes dear." Kenneth sighed. Shepard in the background, making a whipping sound "whipped."

"And here I thought I was going to break that trend" Kenneth sighed.

"What was that Kenneth" Gabby emphases Kennith like she herd him.

"Nothing Gabby" Gabby Smiles. Tali in the background was chuckling.

"You know Gabby. I Have an excellent spyware if you need to keep an eye on your boyfriend." Tali offered. Tali also figured out what Whipped means and she blushed under her helmet.

Gabby gushed "oh thank you Tali. I might take you up on that."

"Well, I'm right fuck aren't I" Kennith mentioned.

"Right in the down under" Gabby responded.

Normandy SR2 Hangar Bay

Shepard walks out the elevator. Looking around not seeing Ben, then heads to Ben little section of the Hangar Bay, but Ben was not alone.

"Hello Prometheus, I assume you're here because Ben offered his sleeping quarters, which happens to be the Hangar Bay." Shepard pointed out.

Prometheus turns from reading his Ommi-tool that he stole when he was on the collector ship. To Shepard. "Yes Commander Shepard, I feel I can fully adapt here."

"That good. You see Ben?" Shepard was pleased to him that but ask where Ben was.

Prometheus Nods "He came by earlier, was on his Omni-tool, then left but Never went to the elevator."

"Really?" Prometheus nods "most certainly But I did here him call Paradox. I was wanting to catch up with Morden several times, so that understand better the history here and your many species that co-exists."

Shepard smiles at that and asked, "That true, how are you finding, catching up with Morden ties?"

Prometheus Answers "A bit like my century, the only key difference would be the varied species working together. In my time we just enslave then"

"Hmm, yes, that will not go well with a lot of Prothean expects, my Girlfriend, (well separated at the moment) included."

Prometheus agrees "I understand but the truth is needed, if one is to see the era of, they ways."

Shepard nods at that, Agreeing with the sentiment.

Then a Blue/white Portal appears spitting out Ben landing him on his back "Jeez Thanks Paradox" Ben then looks up to see Shepard and Prometheus

"Hey guys. How is it 'Hanging'" Mouns have been eco across the hangar Bay?

"Ben. May I ask what that portal was about. In fact, who Paradox?"

"Ah, hmm, so you know now that I'm not well from this Universe." Both Shepard and Prometheus nods,

"Well, I.... I cannot tell you, not yet anyway." Shepard scrunch his nose, Prometheus blinked.

"Why" Shepard asked.

"Because if I did, I would not be able to stop Ghostfreak."

"What about this Eon character. He sounds Powerful" Prometheus puts in. Ben Mouth twitched at that. Shepard notice.

"He is, it just. When, I just cannot tell you. They my fight and my fight alone." Ben said in an aggressive tone.

Shepard puts his hand on Ben shoulder "Ben you are not alone, I do not know what happen back in your Universe, but we can help. You just have to trust us."

Ben contemplating a bit in a pin of silence. "I think about it."

Shepard smiles "That all I ask. Now if you excuse me the rest of the crew want to have a chat, might as well start from engineering to Mordin. I should go."

Ben smiles "see later, Shep."

So, Shepard does. He talks to all his crew about they problems. Some he knew before hand due to past conversations that has been brought up recently. Miranda story intrigue him the most due to her struggle with emotion and her having a sister. Maybe he can get Ben to do that one while he is helping Liara.

Normandy SR2 Miranda Office.

A few hours later

The Normandy warps out of the relay and heads straight for the Floatia. Ben, Ship and Miranda see outside her window. Directly at the Flotilla. One of the things Ben did when he was aboard the Normandy was catch up on This Universe History. Geth was a prominent feature in a lot of history text.

"So That the Flotia, Dam. Kinda feel bad. if it was not there for the own fault they got booted out of the planet for making life" Ben remark divisively looking out of the window, in Miranda office. He came here after talking to Shepard to get ship, but they got talking about, Ghostfreak and eon. Not to the extent that Miranda would like as she can tell Ben still hiding stuff from her, but she get there.

"I would not go and mention that to Tali Benjamin, the Quarians are a petty bunch, but I will admit that they are right about the Geth" Miranda Ben nods.

"Ship, Ship" Ship jumps around.

Ben smirk "yes ship, I know how you feel but Miranda is intitled to an opinion, even if it wrong."

Miranda smiles "maybe. How are you feeling?"

"Not great. Honestly, I can here to get away, but..."

"Your past will always haunt you know matter where you are" Ben smiles but weakly. Miranda nods Back.

Ben Omni-tool picks up a call. Ben Answers "Ben"

"Yeah Shepard"

"Do you have an Alien, which can do Law or has high intelligent to fight of laws?"

"Urm yes, they Greymatter, He good at that type of thing. Why?" Miranda also curious as to why so her eyebrow goes up.

"Good Turn into Greymatter, get a protective suit on and meet me at the Head of the FLoatia because we need you to hold of the Judges as a representative. while me, Tali, and Garrus head of to fight Geth."

Miranda Chimes in her Ommi-tool making it a three-way call. "Shepard This is Miranda, how did a Trial become you fighting Geth?"
