Normandy Crew Deck Mess Hall

A few hours after The Citadel business. Miranda was giving Ben another lecture. He was eating some chili fries, while getting said lectured by Miranda.

"You. Jumped. out of a shuttle. Are you CRAZY!" Miranda screamed into the void that is Ben 10.

Ben smirks back. Leaning against his chair "Define crazy princess."

Prometheus, who was sitting next to Ben and is holding ship "Ship" points his tendril bug finger up "Crazy, defeo…"

"We don't need to know Prometheus" Ben quickly interrupts.

The now allied collector Pouts. "Ship, ship." Ship cuddles Prometheus to make him feel better.

Miranda pinches her nose, with a heavy sigh. "You know you have other transformations that can do what you did, but better." She spoke.

"Yeah, but where is the fun in that," Ben said with a grin that was high. reaching towards his eyes.

Miranda expresses darkened. A black aura wrapped around her body as She then proceeded to grab his ear.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow. Let us go. OW" Ben tried to fight back.

"No more smoothies, no more chilli fries and now that you are a spectre. You are got some catching up to do." she said in a cheery voice that was laced with Venom.

"Wait, you don't mean." Ben blanches. This is the one thing he hates more than the lectures.

"Shepard already approved. You and I are going into my office within certain and we are going to get you educated on our history, life, cultures, and maths" Miranda explained in a tone that mixed with enjoyment and satisfaction.

And in a very Darth Vader manner. Ben screamed out. "nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo"

"Stop being a baby. A smarter mind will do you good. If you had a mind to begin with" Miranda snarky towards the shapeshifter.

"I feel attacked," Ben moans out.

"You should be… Pesky Dust." Ben groans. Miranda smirks grows at Ben torment.

Prometheus spoke up "How does Pesky Dust get into one Memories? I understand the concept with X.L.R.8 and Humungousaur but Pesky Dust is an enigma to me. He asked.

Ben shrugs and explains Pesky Dust powers. "Pesky releases a dust like cloud that puts the user to sleep. That same cloud allows me to create a psychic link, so I am not in the memories per say but I am also connected to the memories. I can get anyone to admit anything if I give them the right motivation. There get to live the life story of whoever I put to sleep. That with nightmares or dreams that come with it."

Prometheus nods along. "Fascinating"

Miranda nods in agreement. Sitting back down after tormenting Ben "Pesky, while adorable, is quite good in dealing with interrogations and captures them."

"Ship, Ship" Ben groans "Come on Ship, that not even remotely fair."

Prometheus asked as he can apparently understand Ship language. "Who "The worst"

Ben blinked "you understood Ship?"

Prometheus sniffed. From his non-existent nose. "I have been learning the ways of ship. I am fascinated by your exploits by the way."

Miranda "coughs" out "So The worst"

Ben slam his head on the table. "Urg Right. So, the worst is basically a brick wall, he can take hits and is even immune to poison. Except for the eyes, it is a sore spot, but the main drawback is I can feel the pain of every hit including the poison. He also cannot fight back due to his statue and is well. He wears underwear."

Miranda blinks then starts laughing "Amazing, I'm putting that on file" Ben groans again. "Great."

After a couple of minutes of talking. A voice is heard from behind.

"Hey pipsqueak" Ben turns to see Jack. Miranda frowns.

"What up, Jack? Do not usually see you up here. Here to murder someone. If so, can I be last?" He joked. Jack snorted.

Jack then eyes Ben. "I wish." She quickly faces Miranda" Oh hey cheerleader." Miranda scowls back. Then Jack looks back at Ben.

"Anyway, two things. One Grunt was upset that you were holding back that giant dinosaur thing." Jack explain with a single finger.

Ben snorts "Yeah no. Will not fit in the ship."

Jack snorts back. She pulled up a second finger. "Two. I need help accessing certain files, it takes me a while because of a certain cheerleader. Encrypt them." Jack skimmed her eyes to Miranda who now looks pissed.

"You are not allowed access to those anyway. Shepard had no right to…" She started shouting but was interrupted.

"Here" Ben hands Jack a disk.

"What the fuck is this?" She question.

"A disk I made, using greymatter. It is to help me with the tech in this world. I added in some software to make it easier for me to hack files and such. How do you think I know so much is so little time" Ben shrugged as he explained with the stares sending his way. "Anyway, it should give you access to what you are looking for. Greymatter quick to understand the technologies of this world or any world for that matter. Dude IQ scared even Mordin."

Jack eyes widen "holy shit. Thanks pipsqueak. I owe you" Then she frowns "and I don't like owning people."

"You're welcome murdering psychopaths. Just return the favour by returning the disk when you are done" Jack nods and heads back to the jack cave. Which is the sub deck in engineering.

Prometheus asked, "was that wise?"

Miranda who now has a murderous glint in her eyes "Yes was it?" She was grinding her teeth at the shapeshifter.

Ben grows back "Then tell the illusive man. That if he wants me to keep his secrets. Then do not get Chambers to steal my Alien DNA from Mordin lab."

Miranda now looks like she swallowed a pill and blink "What?"

"Oh, so you did not know then... Neat."

"No, he wouldn't… but how" Miranda was clearly confused but was clearly thinking of a plan to rectify it.

Ben huffs "my watch has an alert system to let me know of DNA Alterations both of me and anyone else. When Mordin took samples of said Alien DNA. Still counting. He and I made an alert system that connected to the watch. if anything would happen to the samples. Then my watch beeps. Which was a few minutes after your meeting with him. Anyway, my watch will let me know of the stolen DNA and any potential alterations that come with it. That last one has not happened yet, but it will. Me and Mordin went over what was stolen. When I got back here with Thane. Thane is also doing me a solid by talking to Chambers."

Miranda blanches and swore. "Oh Fuck"

Ben nods "Yep" Emphasis on the 'p'

Prometheus looked over to see if anyone was watching. Leaned in and asked. "Have you told the commander?"

Ben nods "As soon as he got back from his mission. He is going over it with Mordin. He is not happy about it."

"No, I imagined not," Prometheus the age-old Collector Prothean hybrid agreed. When heard of Ben's origins he himself agreed that the organization should not wield that power. No matter the centuries. There are always corrupt organizations out there.

Miranda looks like she is getting up from her seat and is heading towards her office. Ben sees this and puts a stop to it.

"Look princess, you are having a go at the illusive man, is a fun watch. Popcorn included but let me deal with it. Him using that DNA has Consequence, one of those is that they need to extract my exact DNA from the alien. So, it will be a while for him to work it out" Ben explained. A little put off that it happens but he knows what to do if ever the Illusive man does pull something stupid.

Miranda thinks about it for a while. "You're right. Sorry it just I told him you were never going to work with us, but he insisted on at least trying and learning the watch capabilities."

"It is fine. I am not mad at you just at the illusive man and disappointed with Kelly. Really" Miranda nods at that, not speaking any further.

"Ship, Ship"

"Yeah, I know the ship. I know"

NormandySR2 lab

"How Many Alien DNAs was stolen, Mordin?" Shepard asked with some scrutiny

"Not many. Was able to synthesise a security lock for the most dangerous and powerful. with Ben Omnitrix of course," Mordin explained, arms crossed as they looked at the stolen DNA samples.

"Amalgaman"

"Ampfibian"

"Wildmutt"

"Big Chill"

Shepard nods looking at the list. Arms crossed. "Good. Ben does not want us to confront the illusive man about it. Wants to hold off till will find out what project the illusive man has installed for them."

Mordin nods, smiling "Smart gives us time to make countermeasures. Well Ben countermeasures."

"hmm"

"You seem troubled, Shepard," Mordin notices.

"I am fine, just thinking. Carry on Mordin"

Walking out of the lab. He heads to the elevator down towards the crew deck. He needs to talk to Ben.

Normandy Crew Deck Mess Hall

"What was the ship saying?" Miranda asks with curious curiosity.

Ben looks up to Miranda crystalise blue pretty eyes. A Slight blush is forming.

Prometheus is the one who answered, "Ship was explaining, how similar this is to the vilgax event or something along the lines."

"What the Vilgax event" Shepard ask wondering in the crew mess hall.

"Oh nothing, important" Ben shrugged it off, but ship was having none of that and fired a small green stun blast at him. Which caused him to fall to the floor.

"Ship" Ship said in a small aggressive tone.

"Ah come on ship, I moved on from…" But was cut off when ship pounced on him "Ship."

"Ah, Ship. I am not ready, okay. Just give me some time." Ship reluctantly stopped and hopped off Ben and headed to Miranda.

Everyone was in the room laughing They heads off seeing the showcase of Ship beaten up Ben. Shepard was the one who interrupted the 'Fight.'

"Come on Ben we got another mission, in the Boltzmann system." Shepard as he goes to help pick Ben up from the ground.

"The Boltzmann system that is just next door to citadel space" Miranda asks like it was a statement.

Shepard turns to her, and nods "Kasumi" Ben now stands scraping the dirt on his armour.

Miranda nods back knowing enough not to pry in Goto life and whatever is in that system that Kasumi is interested in.

"Alright then let's go!" They both started to walk away. Towards the Airlock on the main deck.

Shepard then said to Ben "it is a stealth Opp Ben."

"So Nooo Rath then" Ben joked.

Miranda narrows her eyes at Ben shooting daggers into the back of Ben's skull. Ben shivers.

"Hey Commander" Joker called out through the ship.

"Yes Joker?" Shepard asks Joker while heading to the Elevator.

"We arrived at Bekenstein and Kasumi is very eager to go!"

Kasumi chimed in "Damm right I am eager."

"Ahhhhh, Don't Do that!" From Ben's view it sounded like a jump scare. The chuckle of Kasumi's voice is heard over the com.
