"Shepard" someone shouted….

"Commander Shepard" Again that same voice shouted again.

Eyes slit slowly lift open…. to see a raven hair hourglass look woman. that goes by the name Miranda Lawson, who in the eyes of herself and her father is a genetic perfect human.

Shepard here after being dead for 2 years after the events of 2183 where the alliance forces fought a giant AI, called a reaper known as Sovereign. This happened at the battle of the citadel. Where Shepard and his ground team fought Saran and his Geth army, husk and krogen forces.

Shepard has warned the council of the reaper threat for a while now. There are a group of giant mechanical, synthetic machines that want to wipe out the rest of the galaxy. While they do not believe him, he is a valued asset to the Spectre program. Now in 2185 Shepard works with a group (while reluctantly) called Cerberus. It is a group that supports pro-human and has done some nasty experiments on people and creatures alike behind their name.

Shepard is 28-year-old man. Who has a strong body build. He has a shaved haircut around his face. Shepard was trained by the best of the best as he is considered special forces. His armour is referred to as N7. Only those with the training can have that type of armour.

Miranda raised an eyebrow, hands on her hips. "Commander Shepard, we are nearing Horizon. Are you feeling, okay?" Miranda is Shepard second in command. She has black raven hair, Wearing a skin-tight suit in her Hourglass body figure.

Shepard Nods shaking his head. "I am fine thanks for asking Miranda. has Mordin, already got the team armour equipped with the anti-deterrent for the seeker swarms.

Miranda Nods back. "Yes, Garrus and I will be waiting in the shuttle bay." Miranda walks away leaving Shepard to his lonely thoughts.

"God, I miss Liara."

?/Horizon

"Hello Benjamin"

Ben startled and jumped up. He looks up with Ship in hand then looks around at the new surroundings. He turns to face his old friend. "Hello professor paradox what up. Where am I?"

"Ship, ship" Ship agreed.

Professor paradox chuckles "yes indeed Ship. Now Benjamin after your victory against Vilgax. I feel like you deserve a new life after that tragic event. Oh, and before I forgot Gumball?" He hands out a sweet snack.

Ben shakes his head, paradox continues and chews on said gumball "very well. Benjamin here you are on a colony planet called Horizon. I am afraid you cannot return to your own world due to how much power you use in Alien X. It causes a flux against Vilgax powers. The same is said for Ship. I am sorry but I brought you here so you can live the rest of your life and hopefully move on."

Ben shakes his head again while Ship looks down and sad, missing Julie. "Sorry Ship," Ben turned to Paradox. "Yo professor, can I still use Alien X or are they…." Stopping himself

Professor paradox chuckles "No they are still in the Omnitrix, they are here to keep an out for you. In a sense..."

Ben was confused by the phrase. His gaze was distant…

"I put them in a security lock so that way I only use him for emergencies, and I don't want to alter too much of this universe." Ben nervously chuckled after a few minutes.

Professor paradox chuckled back. "Very wise young Benjamin, oh and before I go, be sure to not mention you are from another universe. People here are… well let us just say extreme in what they do if found out. That is why Asmuth gave you the instruction manual to make it seem like you created it."

Ben mods understanding what Paradox means and knowing Ben. that secret would not last long. "Thanks" Ben said with a single tear drop from his face looking at the planet sunset gazing at the star with a distant expression…

Professor paradox walks away with a. "Goodbye Ben and for what it is worth. I am sorry. good luck, my old friend."

2185/ Horizon First half

The shuttle lands on the colony of horizon empty and barren of people. Shepard gives out orders to move forward as they reach the plaza seeing nothing. Behind him are Miranda and Garrus Vakarian.

Garrus Vakarian is a Humanoid Alien with Bird-like features and has an intense sense of right and wrong. Though that sense tends to get him in trouble with his own kind. He has a scar on the right side of his face. (our left). He also supported Shepard back during the battle against Saren.

Garrus shakes his head muttering under his mandible breath... "Something is not right here, I know the collectors are hitting hard but where are the bodies? In fact, where are the collectors? The ship right there." Garrus pointed up towards the massive hive looking ship above them.

Miranda looks around and speaks. "I don't know… wait I found a collector dead body here" Both Shepard and Garrus form up around Miranda.

Garrus asks, looking at the dead collector. "Is it Alliance?" Shepard looks over to see but confused by what happened.

Miranda shakes her head "No. they were hit with electrocution attack. Either by a high powerful overload or something similar."

A voice radio over the coms "Commander I am receiving a com link with an Alliance network. Sir it is Kaden Alenko…" Shepard took a minute before he had his fingers to his earpiece with a strained but controlled voice.

"Patch it through. EDI." EDI is an AI that helps run Shepard ships above the colony.

Kaden Alenko with a stressed voice "Hello who out there please Identify yourself!"

Shepard responded with a controlled tone "Kaden it me… Commander Shepard. What is your status?"

Kaden Voice narrows "Shepard. you are dead… prove it!"

Shepard Voice groggy as ever "Sending codes now."

Shepard opened his omni tool on his wrist. He sends out code relating to alliance days.

Kaden Voice narrows further "I got them, and you got a lot of explaining to do… Sir!"

Shepard shuts his eyes and rubs them "I know I do Kaden. I am here to help just give me your…." Shepard hears voices from a distance. "What was that?" he asked. With Miranda and Garrus having also heard the noise, Look around.

"Ship, Ship" Both Miranda and Garrus look at each other funny over that deep mechanic noise.

Kaden hears Ship's voice through the omni-tool and crackles. "Ah you hear Ship. Go toward that and you found me there. Kaden out"

Shepard looked at both companions. Both looked back confused by the situation. "You heard the man Move out."

Both Miranda and Garrus guns ready head out to that location. As they made it, they saw a Galvanic Mechamorph in Spaceship mode shooting down a horde of collectors.

Garrus gapped. "Spirits. What is that green, circuit thingy?"

Miranda eyes narrows "I do not know, and I do not like it. This was never in the reports."

Shepards looks around while the action takes place and sees a storage unit that looks to store vehicles. Then he looks back. Then spoke in a commanding tone. "Everyone, let us help. Garrus stays back and keeps distance. Snipe your shots, make them count. Miranda covers me with your biotics; I am going in." Both nod and went following the command.

Garrus was Sniping a few shots in. Which got noticed by Ship. Miranda covered Shepard with her biotics. Shepard charges in taking out a horde that is converging behind the Giant ship. about Five minutes into the battle an energy spick kicks in on one of the collectors.

Garrus grunts "great big guys here!"

"We are the harbinger of your destiny..."

"Good for you but can you harbinger you executioner" a Voice Boom from the strange ship crashing on said Collector with electric force. This being appears to have conductors on its shoulders, black raven hair that spikes downwards, and stitches around half its body while the other half is damaged or wearing pitch black trousers.

The strange monster stretched out from the long jump. He looks toward Shepard group. Eyes popped out, noticing Garrus. "Mice to meet you, I'm Frankenstrike or Ben Tennyson for short."

Miranda Eyebrows rose slightly intrigued by this announcement "How is Ben Tennyson short for Frankenstrike also you're getting shot at… it not affecting you at all?"

Frankenstrike turns and shoots electricity out of his hand wiping out the rest of the enemy forces. Shepard's group looks shocked at how easy it was for the beast to lay the enemy force.

"Love this Ali… form, that it! this form. You must wait to find out why Ben Tennyson is short. We need to meet Kaden. Ship come down here and we need to meet Kaden."

Ship comes down excitedly "ship, ship" Everyone guarded as they follow the monster.

Garrus jumps slightly at how that Ship called Ship turned into a blob. "How did that blob. turn into a war machine. also, his name is ship?"

Ship looks at Garrus like he is an idiot. Frankenstrike chuckles as he walks toward a massive gate. "Ship behave; ship here can turn into any form of machine. As long as he understands it of course."

Everyone's eyes bulged out at that info. Miranda most of all out of the three pulls up her omni tool and records it to Mordin and the illusive man. She was also gathering info on one Ben Tennyson.

Shepard asks as he follows Frankenstrike. "How do you know Kaden?"

Frankenstrike smiles slightly "Been living here since the attack. Do not know Kaden that long but he has been here to shore up this colony's defences. Alliance sent him of course. When we heard about the other colonies getting attacked. I managed to fend off many of the collectors. I say 10 percent of the colony's people are mainly children though. Hang on we at the door let me bang the code in."

Shepard stops midway. He turns towards Garrus and Miranda "what have you got Miranda?"

Miranda shakes her head "Right nothing and I mean nothing, nothing in alliance channels or Cerberuses either. It is like Ben Tennyson, a ghost that just appeared out of thin air."

Garrus looks at Miranda strangely, "why look at human systems and not aliens."

Shepard responds for her. "Because both his names are or have human origins. There is also the fact that this Ben Person looks at you Garrus like he has not seen your species before. I doubt that since Turian's are on the net."

Miranda agrees with Shepard's assessment of the Frankenstrike character. Garrus was about to retort but a strong voice came over.

Frankenstrike shouts, waving them over with Ship on his shoulder. "You are coming. I got the gate open. Kaiden waiting inside."

Shepard breaths inwards "let's go and see Kaiden."

Shettle base/intermission

Shepard sees Kaden as soon as he walks through the gate. "Kaiden it." but was cut off.

"Shove it commander you died. Now you are working for Cerberus. I should arrest you for capturing these colonists but right now."

Now Kaden was cut off by Frankenstrike. Shepard look down stress that this is all happening.

"Kaiden, I told when I accessed these ugly bugs computers that they were working with a group called the Reapers. not Cerberus" Kaden scowled at that news.

"And besides, we need those defence towers online. Shepard and his group are not affected by those ugly smaller bugs."

Miranda narrowed her eyes at the creature. She interjects. "They are called collectors and seeker swarms."

Frankenstrike snorted "that a stupid name, I called them buglectiors or Swarms."

Miranda Eyebrows raised not wasting this opportunity "What are you a child in that flesh to name something so idiotic."

Frankenstrike Blanches hand waving in front. "Hey, I am, 19. Thank you very much. no child here"

"Shipp" Ship nods agreeing. The children giggle at Ship.

"Thank you ship" Everyone except the children now stares at the monster like he grew a second head.

Garrus shocks his head "I am sorry how old are you."

Frankenstrike blanchers further. becoming pale if that even possible for him. His hourglass symbol that on his belt started beeping.

"Beep, Beep, Beep, Beeeeeeep." A bright green light flashes everyone.

Ben responds with a cry "arrr Man run out of Energy!"

Miranda just stares dumbfounded at this kid, Shepard on the overhand "So Ben how does a kid like you learn how to fight like that or better yet. fight in battles that gets people killed."

Garrus nods, adding. "Not only that but you managed to change from that monster to well you."

Ben just ignores everyone or pretends to anyway and focuses on his watch. "Damm Omnitrix"

Now Miranda, Kaden, Garrus, and Shepard look at each other. Miranda Grabbing Ben Arm angry at the kid ignoring them, "How did you transform into Frankenstrike? You called it and answered Shepard's question on the matter of how a kid like you knows how to fight?"
Ben Blanchers even more "Urm can we talk about this, after we get the defence grid back online."

Miranda is about to burst another socket, but EDI interrupts her. "The boy right you don't have that long till most of the human adults are being are abducted."

Shepard grabs Miranda's shoulder "we take him back to Normandy for questions right now. We need to focus on the colony".

Miranda looks back at Nods, looks at Ben "this is not over and stay here."

Ben nods and Miranda lets go of him. Shepard looks at Kadan. He already responds before Shepard asks "He is protected by the colony. Even if I wanted to bring him to alliance. I could not. Everyone here loves him, nothing I could do. I did ask a question though and he helped shore up the Defence of this colony."

Shepard Nods "Alright Kaden, stay here. My team armour is protected by those seeker swarms. So, we should get the defence turrets online. Garrus scouts ahead" Garrus Nods and goes on ahead Vindicator in hand.

Shepard looks at Miranda "Start an algorithm with EDI. while we were catching up to Garrus. We needed those guns online yesterday." Miranda nods and starts working with EDI through the Coms.

"Let move!"

But before they do, a green light appears. Everyone turns to look.

"TenTen" The beast shouted in fully green armoured weapons and a jet pack with a big x in the middle that shows the hourglass symbol.

He looks at the ship "Ship keep the kids safe" Ship nods and turns into a turret protecting the kids. Then TenTen moves out.

Shepard grabs TenTen on the shoulder "I'm pretty sure Miranda told you to stay behind and right now I agree with her."

TenTen just shrugged him off. He looks at the door, then flies off not before turning to Shepard to say something. "You are not my boss or my mum for that matter! I am here to help, so let me."

Ship looks sad when he mentions mum "ship" said in quite a depressed tone Miranda notices this and stores that info for later.

2185/ Horizon second half

While TenTen flies off ahead. Shepard group is shooting everything collector related. Garrus makes through a horde of scion, husks, and collectors to get to the Gun batteries.

Garrus Huffs Heavily "We Made it." Miranda while not tired agrees that the battle getting here was tough.

Shepard nods but looks around and sees TenTen fighting off against the horde of husks in the centre area, using in-built blasters and laser swords. Shepard walks up shooting the remaining husk covering TenTen.

"You, okay?" Shepard asked. TenTen Nods back. Garrus and Miranda catch up.

Miranda looked Angrier than before, "we told you to stay behind kid."

Garrus just noticed "WAIT! You are that same kid who can turn into, what was that creature called?"

Miranda Responds, "it is called Frankenstrike" TenTen nodded.

Garrus Nods "thanks. Yes that. Why are you here? this is not your fight nor of human adult age to fight." TenTen was about to retort with his blaster, but EDI comes in again.

"I need access to the computer. That way I can access the weapon mainframe, so they work to full efficiency Commander,"

Shepards Nods Accessing the mainframe "you should have it now EDI."

EDI starts fixing the Guns "it takes ten minutes to fix the guns Shepard. you have on coming collector reinforcement."

TenTen came up to the station and spoke up. "I can increase the fixed speed if you allow me, whatever you are?" He can tell that is not a normal organic voice.

EDI replies "I am an AI."

TenTen Chuckles a bit with that info, "Right with your permission I increase the speed."

Shepard chimes in "not the time to discuss this as we got incoming, everyone turns to see the collector reinforcement arrives.

TenTen turns back to the console "well…"

EDI Silent for a few minutes contemplating the idea. "Very well!" She agreed.

TenTen shouted out. "Nice!" And hits the Hourglass Symbols, A green light appears.

Upgrade" Shouts and walks toward the console. He tackles it and combines with the terminal with his Mechamorph abilities.

EDI murmured. "Interesting. Commander The Guns are now online, with some upgrades as our new friend called them."

The guns now look heavier but also stronger as well. The increase in power from upgrade has done damages to the ship piercing its hull and breaching its defences.

Shepard, Garrus, and Miranda look above and what young ben has done. "Spirits,"

"Holy shit" over the com channel. The ship is leaving but now with intense damage. Upgrade leaves the station and hits the hourglass again. he now has become.

"Atomix!" and chase after the collector ship but before Ben could use the nuclear winner attack. The collector ship turns a full 180 and fires the laser down upon Atomixs. hitting him in the chest. This causing Atomixs to crashed down on the ground turning him back to Ben with a gaping wound.

Shepard shouts and runs towards "BEN! EDI, we need…"

The Normandy pilot spoke over the com, "The shuttle coming in Shepard. Dr Chalkwas is on board. EDI is doing research on the Upgrade creature, we saw what happened.

Shepard nodded and looked at his crew, "Thanks joker. Miranda Keep him stable" Shepard got up and turned towards Garrus.

Miranda Nods and knelt. hovering over Ben wound with the omni tool. Ready to apply Medi-gel on him.,

"Garrus go report to," Kaden appears before Shepard gives the order.

"I saw the whole thing, what happened Shepard?" Shepard looks from Kaden to the down Ben. Kaden follows the trail and sees a gruesome sight.

"Holy shit, is he?" Shepard Nods back at Kaiden. Sighing a relief.

Kaden continues "I must report back to the alliance, I… I need to report the colonies are abducted by the collectors with communication evidence of reaper involvement. I do not trust Cerberus Shepard. I need time to think sir. Plus, the kids need to get to the citadel for well you know."

Shepards nods in understanding. lends his hand. "I Understand and thank you Kaden."

Kaden huffs and shakes Shepard's hand in return for good gestures. "Goodbye Shepard. Good luck against the collectors." Kaiden leaves back to the children.

"Ship, Ship!" Arrives to see Ben Injured. Garrus catches him before he gets to Ben "gotcha. Do not worry about him, we get him patched up."

"Ship" His Head down in a slump.

The shuttle arrives with Chalkwas on board. "Get him here so I can start" she shouted,

They all nod and jump aboard while Miranda is hovering Ben into the shuttle. Dr Chalkwas got right into work on the boy. The shuttle heads back to Normandy to get ready for the coming storm.
