Normandy SR2 is a private ship built for warfare. It was made by Cerberus after the first one was destroyed by the collectors in an attack. Now the new ship is built to fight the collectors. Shepard while working on fighting the collectors. Was collecting Crew mates for the mission.

He recruited Zaeed Massani a mercenary for Hire. Mordin solus a retired Salarian scientist. Garrus Vakarian old friend and the recently deceased Archangel. Grunt a Krogan born for fighting. Jack the psychotic biotic. Kasumi the Phantom thief.

Jacob was part of Lazurus project alongside Miranda. so, they both joined right at the beginning. Dr Karin Chalkwas, joined as soon as she herd Shepard was alive, Joker, Shepard old pilot, and friends. Also join in the hunt for the collector. Though he going to stay in his comfortable leather seats. And EDI a virtual AI to assist in the aid of stopping the collectors.

The rest of the ship crew are only coms Men and women. Star maps guides, chief and cleaning crew, engineers, and security. They was also Kelly chambers. Shepard secretary and therapist.

Normandy SR2 Meeting Room

Shepard is in the middle of the room standing on a circle that highlights around him. This circle allows him to communicate with his boss, the Illusive man.

Illusive Man is a white middle-aged man wearing a black suit with white under top. He is appearing in a holographic display in front of Shepard. He puffed out a smoke and he spoke with a smooth hard edge.

"Shepard, your report on Horizon is interesting to say the least. Is all of this confirmed."

Shepard replies with a frown on his features. "Do not I know it. A boy who can shapeshift into different forms with several types of powers. If word got out, he would be hunted if not running for his life. This was not picked up by your intel?"

The Illusive Man shook his head. "No and that is what scares me. Have we got any idea how he is able to transform?"

Shepard crossed his arms. "As far as we can tell, that watch of his is the reason. He is called the Omnitrix. He slams it down and bam a big green light appears. turning into whatever he shouts the name of that creature. it is Placed on his wrist."

Illusive Man puffed out another smoke. "Is there any way to take off that watch or use some of its technology for our own?"

Shepard shook his head. "Miranda, Chalkwas and Mordin all tried but it could not come off. Mordin believes the watch is Key to Ben DNA. making him the only one to use it. so, it is attached to him permanently. By the way, Miranda is not happy about that."

The Illusive Man chuckled. "I would imagine. Well, if that is the case we leave it at that till we know more. What about that creature… Ship I believe?"

Shepard Nodded. "Yes. Now that is something the crew is nervous about because they all think it is AI, but it is not. Ship structure is VI at most but still thinks, lives like an AI Dog. if that makes any sense. Mordin was able to get some DNA from it but most of it was circuit boards and synthetic wiring. Before you ask. No, I do not think Ship will join us, not without his owner Ben anyway."

Illusive Man nods "Very well Keep me updated on the situation and here the rest of the dossiers, good luck Shepard."

Shepard Nods and leaves the call and the conference room towards the medical wing.

Normandy SR2 Medical wing

Shepard just made it into the crew cafeteria when Miranda calls out "Commander!"

Shepard nods "Miranda,"

Miranda smiles "That Boy Ben has woken up. I had Jacob and Mordin keep an eye out in case he does something. His pet ship, well we try to contain it, but he keeps escaping to where that boy is. so, we just left him they."

Shepard Nods with a smile "Good I was heading they myself to check up on him and you better come too so the illusive man will not have a fit."

Miranda smiles appreciably, arms stretched out in front. "After you Commander."

So, they both went towards the medical wing, which was crowded by the crew of the Normandy. A human female with belts for straps called Jack. A Krogan that was born out of wet lock, Grunt. Garrus already knows so he is in the Gun battery of the ship. Zaeed just leans back and grunts. Kasumi is invisible getting the inside scoop. They take no notice of it and go in.

They hear a Voice shout out "I am fine doc it not my first time getting my chest blasted by a laser."

Another voice Chalkwas calls out "Dammit child you are not helping your case. Jacob help me out here!"

And so, Jacob did. Jacob is Cerberus operative like Miranda. His uniform is Black with white stripes, and he has a darker skin tone. He pushes Ben back onto the bed "you know kid that made your situation a lot worse right?" Jacob Chuckles at Ben scrump up face.

"Ship, Ship" Ship agrees.

While they do that Shepard and Miranda Walk in towards Mordin. Shepard spoke up." Professor what do you take on the situation and his watch?"

Mordin who is a Salarian and an incredibly old one at that, wearing a white medical uniform with a red strip in the middle. "The watch was extraordinarily complex. Yes, yes, I could not get a full scan, too much interference either on my end or on the watch's end. I need more research on the matter. Maybe bring the boy up to the lab."

Shepard and Miranda both nod at this information. Shepard nodded. "Thanks, Mordan, I see if Ben when he able to leave the medic wing to talk to more about."

Mordan nods, smiles but frowns. "Another thing I ask is who made the watch, and he claims he made it,"

Miranda eyebrows raise "You do not believe he made it, granted he is a boy but also does not seem very smart. they might…."

Mordin Shakes his head "No he most definitely not the one who made that device. But that is not all, from what I can gather about the technology. It is nowhere similar to ours in fact, yes, the hardware does not resemble anything we have here."

Miranda and Shepard look at each other than to ben that back to Mordan "Thank you Mordin"

Mordin nods "your welcome Shepard. Oh, be sure to send me part of your armour. I want to test. Seeker swarm result." then proceeds to leave the Medical Bay and back to his lab.

Ben shouts out "are we done yet."

"Ship" who on the side's chuckles at Ben Medical suffering.

Miranda storms up slamming Ben down the table "if you quit your whining this we are done soon, and we can be about our day."

Ben Huffs but smirks "Hello princess how are you. I did not know you missed me that much."

Jacob Chuckles at Moranda now rage expression. Shepard smirks but frowns afterwards. Chalkwas shakes her head with hand on forehead "he is clear medically but annoying." Miranda hands a fist ball of rage at that comment.

Shepard holds Miranda's shoulder. "Not worth a reaction Miranda"

Miranda Nods and breaths. She calms down. "Your right commander"

Shepard nods, "Let us all take this to the conference room where we get a private chat. We do not want prying eyes on us" He turned to the window, seeing the rest of his crew watching in anticipation.

So, everyone except Chalkwas heads up to the conference room. Ship jumps on Ben's shoulder when he gets up from the medical table and they walk up there following Shepard.

Normandy SR2 Meeting Room

Shepard Looks at everyone in the room. Miranda, Jacob, Mordin when he heard about the Meeting and Garrus as he saw firsthand what Ben can do. Ben was standing with Ship on his shoulder.

Ben spoke up. "So…... I am guessing this is not a friendly chat then considering Miss Princess over there looks like she wants to kill me. Do not know why, I have been a good, well-behaved boy."

You can just see Miranda veins pop and her eye is twitching, madly. She looks like she wants to strangle the kid.

Everyone just stares at Ben with a Deadpanned look, Ship on the other hand was "Shipipipipip" in a most giggle tone.

Shepard "coughs" into his hand. "Right, moving on Ben, we want to ask you questions about your unique abilities. Where do you come from? why someone your age and less I say immaturity ""Hey!" "Get a device like that?"

Garrus adds on to that with his own. "Also why do you shout out the names of those creatures? You did that a few times. You called the one we met Frankenstrike, the others, TenTen, Upgrade and Atomix."

Jacob chimes in after "also what with the blob that you called Ship, video footage shows it can turn into machinery but what else" Ship gives a disappointed stare at Jacob.

Ben Chuckles "yes do not call him Blob he prefers the name Ship, or he blasts you."

Jacob smirks "I like to see him…..." But was cut by a green blast knocking Jacob down. Everyone was too shocked or even speechless about what just happened.

Ben laughs at this point and pets Ship "I did warn you. who said he needs to transform to blast you anyway." Jacob gets back up with the help of Garrus "thanks and dam."

Mordin kneels next to him and looks him over. "Should be fine. applying Medi-gel is advisable" Jacob nods.

Miranda turns to look at Ben. Angrily too. "Keep your pet on a leash!"

Ben snorts "Then Tell The illusive man. Or whatever his name is. the same about you, princess. I do not like being tracked." Everyone stops cold and looks at Ben. Shepard narrowed his eyes and did not say anything.

Miranda is no longer angry, but shocked. "How, you were?"

"Knocked out yes, you see there was a small window where no one was looking, and I got Ship to access your ship computers. Also, I was awake for an hour after I arrived on your ship. I just made it hard for you to realise." But he is not going to say how he masked his heart signature.

"Ship, Ship" Nods along.

Everyone was just staring dumbfounded by what had transpired. Mordin, on the other hand, was ecstatic. "You very, good, yes, yes, you hide your true age to get a reaction out of us, then you lie about making that device."

"It is not a lie!" Ben exclaimed fist pumping in the air.

Mordan sniffs and breathes "ah but see Ben Tennyson…" Shepard cuts in. "Enough! What do you mean he lied about his age? "

"Ship, Ship" Nods along again.

Ben respond with a smile on face. "He means I lied to see what reaction I get from you and let us just say princess you was beautiful. To answer your question, Mordin, was it?" Mordin Nods.

"I am really 25 years old." Ben smirks at Miranda. who twitches at being tricked by a kid.

"To answer your other questions. First, I Made this device," looks at Mordin, who just shakes his head in denial.

"And I have had it since I was ten. I have been fighting since then also." Everyone who hears this then just stands their Jaw drops to the floor. Shepard frowned.

Miranda agrees with Mordin about the watch and point outs. "Shocking as it is to hear you have been fighting since you were ten. But you did not create that device. Someone else did and before you go about to say otherwise. Do you really believe us to be fools? No ten-year-old would have that capability to make such a thing."

Garrus had his hand up ducking at Miranda scowl. Miranda then turned back to Ben. "Fine you may have fooled some of us but from what Mordin has gathered. The tech used in that device is on another level, a level human do not even have."

Ben blanches "Dammit what do you mean "Tech used in that device is on another level. It is just Tech. Nothing too advanced."

Miranda Smirks "I mean it does not use Mass effect fields technology, no form of physics just…"

Ben interrupts "What are Mass Effect Fields?"

Garrus Answer with suspicion lace in his tone. "That what allows us to travel, create are weapons tech etc. How do you not know that?"

Ben becomes pale and his left eye twitched…. "Ha, ha, he. ah oh right those, that technology yes, I forgot about that."

Ship becomes nervous "Ship" in a quiet undertone.

Everyone notices His left eye twitch but does not say anything except for Miranda when she is about to start. Shepard stops her.

Shepard also now catches on to Ben's scheme. "I assume since your ship was in our system you know of our mission," Ben Nods smiled.

Shepard smiles back "how would you like to join us?" Everyone hears this and Miranda is not happy, but She agrees with this plan as she gets to work out on who Ben Tennyson is.

Ben nods. "Cool I am down to join and fight the big bad bugs."

Jacob snorts. Garrus just shook his head. Mordin's eyes sparkle in excitement. Like he is playing with new toys. Shepard leads with his hand "welcome aboard, Miranda you are in charge of looking after him." He says this with a smile.

Everyone else just smirks, even Mordin. Miranda just sends death glares at Shepard and Ben.

Ben openly laughs "ha let us get along princess and you too…. John" proceed to shake Shepard's hand while Shepard was looking at Ben with death glares now.

Garrus Bewildered "I thought his name was Shepard."

Miranda smirks even though she hates owing Ben back "that his last name, his first name, is John…"

Shepard tunes in "I don't want to talk about and on that note, I let Miranda set up your quarters, I have business to finish everyone wait… you never answer why you shout out the names of your creatures."

Ben Smirks "it strikes fear into the heart my enemies" Everyone just snorts, then laughter, then full brown comic relief. Even Ship.

Ben just murmurs "no one gets it."

"Ship, Ship." Ship comforts Ben. rubbing his neck.
