Normandy SR2.

Miranda is giving a tour to Ben, around the ship while Ship is on his shoulder. Their walk through the Main deck. Which holds the lab, Armory, Galaxy map, Joker cockpit, and the conference room.

They also go through the second floor which consists of Mess Hall. Miranda office, Sleeping hubs, medical wing, Ai core, Port side observation, starboard observation, Life support, Crew quarters, The lavatories, and the main Battery.

On the third floor of the ship is the engineering, Port Cargo, Sub-Deck, Starboard Cargo, drive core. Miranda Briefly mentions that Shepard quarters are on the top floor and that he only invites people up there.

Normandy SR2, Hangar Bay.

Their final destination is the Hangar Bay. A room full of white, Engine parts, turbine, and supplies. As Miranda Gives the tour. Shepard, Garrus, and Jacob are off on a mission.

"Finally, this is the Hangar Bay, right now we are above Haestrom where Commander is on another recruitment mission. That is why you do not see the shuttle. Here at the moment," Miranda explained.

Ben looks around and nods along with a smile. "Cool, I'll take it."

Miranda coughs out "Hang on you be sleeping in the crew quarters like everyone else not in the hanger bay."

Ben Smiles back with false sincerity. "Ah But you see my dear princess, I need an open space to practice, and the hangar bay is perfect for that. plus, you have a squatter down in the lower decks area. living there so I do not think you should complain about where I sleep."

"Ship!" nods along.

Miranda Eye Twitches Heavily but sighs, "Very Well just do not interrupt Shepard when he heads out on mission using the shuttle. unless you are part of the mission." Ben Nods in agreement.

The elevator door opens. A new voice in a deep dark female tone comes up to them shouting."Yo Cheerleader why did you call me, Zaeed, Kasumi, Mordin and Grunt down here."

Miranda and Ben turn to the elevator where the voice appears, Jack, the psychotic biotic.

Miranda brushed past Ben and explained. "The commander wants to test out Ben's combat abilities before we give the go ahead for him to join a mission."

Ben chimes in. "Excuse me. I do not need testing, thank you very much. you saw first-hand on Horizon what my skills are like."

Miranda interrupts him by saying. "Impressive yes but reckless, and unpredictable. We need to manage group cohesion. You clearly need to understand that with your childish ways of fighting and taunting. So, as your Handler I am making sure you get caught up with the rest of the team."

Mordin chimes in "Yes, must test the strength of these creatures and understand their unique abilities. Also intrigued by the Device on arm."

Ben Just Scowls thinking "I prefer to work alone anyway."

Ship nods at Ben Agreeing with both Miranda and Mordin "ship, Ship."

Ben retorts "aw not you too ship"

Miranda Smirks back at Ben. "It seems Ship has all the brains out of the two of you."

Ben Scowls at her. His arms crossed. "Alright You and me princess, one and one right now!"

Jack snorts "I like this Kid already."

Grunt Laughs "ha-ha. Yes, show them you are the strongest!"

Zaeed just leans back on the panel smirking. He turned to Mordin who had his Omni-tool out, recording, and ready. Jack sat on one of the turbines. Grunt stood tall, eager to watch.

Kasumi came towards Ben. "Oh, oh can I hold the ship while you fight. He is so cute" Ben Nods.

Ship already jumps in Kasumi arms "yes." And walk back to the rest, sitting next to Mordin who is just silent ready to see what happens. Same with Joker and EDI over Vid.

Miranda nods and brings out her SNG, a M-4 Shuriken. "Be ready little boy because I won't go easy on you…" but before she can finish her sentence. Ben slams down the watch and a bright green light appears blinding everyone.

When the light finishes out comes an orange crustacean crab that is bigger than his body. "Brainstorm!"

Everyone laughs at him except Ship. Mordin sees intelligence in the creature. He understands the connotation behind the name. He thinks Kinetic Energy is involved.

Miranda retorts snorting. "Wow way to show your big head they little boy, is it all empty up there."

Brainstorm smartly retorts "My dear Princess, if that was only so simple for your small little mind to understand the connotations of my Brain function, capabilities."

Everyone stops laughing and looks at Ben with a funny look. Mordin just smirks.

Zaeed just blankly states "is his voice different, like he is a scholar now or whatever because it gives me a god damn head headache!"

Miranda just smirks even further letting her emotions take this one. By diving in the battle. She started it with biotics, hitting him with a warp and followed it up with an overload. It hits Brainstorm and pushes him back a bit almost tipping it over.

"So, you insult me by claiming I have a small head and yours is bigger" she said with confidence. Her Left eyebrow shot up a smile thinking she was winning.

Brainstorm Crabby smile almost reaches to the eyes. Everyone including Jack and except Mordin are a little creeped out by that. "My dear princess. I am not insulting your smaller head, no, no. I am stating the fact that my brain is the size of Grunt's body if not larger for rough comparison of course." Now he said that Brainstorm head shell cracks open in half to show the giant size brain to everyone. Adding that he fired off a kinetic energy storm from said brain directly to Miranda.

Miranda Blanches, realising she walked in a trap by Ben or brainstorm or whatever because right now she is stuck on the panel wall. She Angrily retorts "well good for your big brain but that does not me you win."

Mordan chimes "Actually it does, you see you're stuck on your own Cerberus ship," He smiles. Miranda looks down to see that the kinetic energy Brainstorm is firing. It is surrounding her with metal coating her like wrapping paper.

"Fine you win Little Boy" Miranda growled out.

Brainstorm smiles "thoughts SOOO!" he said musically.

Jack comes in laughing her head off by the fact a human size crab beats the cheerleader. Zaeed just smirks, Kasumi giggles with Ship "Shipipipip."

Grunt was disappointed that it was not a brawl. The group were however quite grossed out by Brainstorm brain.

Brainstorm turns to the group "who next!"

Grunt comes in smiling "Me I want a real fight."

Brainstorm Smiles. "Sure, let me change!" and hits the Omnitrix and the bright green light appears, showing.

Normandy SR2, Hangar Bay Grunt Fight

"FourArms" A red muscular Man like creature, who is 12ft tall and has straps on both sides to hold out the shorts. Everyone Stares with Blank Expression, except for Grunt and Mordin.

Kasumi just giggles "Wow how original, were you Ten when you named him."

Ben/FourArms Looks at her with a blank expression. "Yes, Yes I was, why?"

Kasumi stops the giggles and just stares, "urmm, okay was not expecting that answer."

FourArms Smirks "No one ever does" now starts the attack on Grunt. Firing his top right fist into Grunt head.

Miranda was shocked by that answer. She began thinking. "If he had this device for that long then the taunts are not just taunts and him acting like a man child meant… Dammit I underestimated him, thinking he was just a big ego brat with no skill, but that was not the case at all. He uses the taunts to make the opponent underestimated. only for him to pull the reverse card to get the upper hand in a firefight. He called me princess, so he can get me to react and it works."

Her mouth forms a twitchy smirk. Jack sees this and smirks. She thinks to herself about Ben's fight. It is remarkably similar to her own, but one is a Criminal for Crimes while the other has a good heart. She can see that his eyes are full of depression and sadness.

Suddenly wind comes out of nowhere and in the ship of all places. FourArms and Grunt are still at it, punching, one after the another. Both sides survived each juggernaut hit. They keep at it tossing and throwing at each other, like heavy rag dolls in wrestling fights. smashing craters into walls and ceilings of Normandy.

Joker comes in through the coma in desperation. "Hey guys can you not Blow holes inside of my ship. it is causing disruption on all decks."

FourArms snorts "Heh Blows" Joker just smirks at that. Everyone just moans at the joke.

"We call it a draw then. Grunt seems the ship cannot survive my win."

Grunt Nods and accepts it while also missing the fact Ben said this is his win. "Fine but I expect a rematch on a planet somewhere."

FourArms Nods "Deal" Grunts, grunts and moves back to the rest of the team.

"So, who's next?" FourArms asked smirking.

Zaeed Contemplates this "no, I am good, I do not have to deal with the headache afterwards. I also am too old for this shit" Kasumi and ship giggle at that.

Jack on the other hand smiles. "Let go pretty Teen. Change into whatever you like but I will win against you."

Ben was about to hit the Omnitrix, but he realised something. "Hang on princess let me get you out of there before I forget" And so he did, ripping off the metal like tissue paper. Miranda thanks him and moves next to Mordin. Now Ben hits the Omnitrix, and a bright green light appears again.

"So, Morden, what is your theory about the creatures Ben uses?" Miranda asks Mordin.

Mordin replies with a sniff "Interesting, advantages yes but also has disadvantages too, if you were in control of your emotions, you could have dodged the kinetic storm headed your way in battle."

Miranda Nods Agreeing with the assessment while not happy about it. Mordin continued. "But also, like everyone here, notice a smirk of a lie on Ben's lips. Yes, yes, I do not believe they are simple creatures he created nor believed he made the watch, another creator yes. would loves to get DNA samples for research purposes."

Miranda Nods "I am going to ask him about every transformation he has; I will give you a rundown of them when I get Answers." Morden Nods Happily at that.

The green Light fades and outcomes.

Normandy SR2, Hangar Bay Jack Fight

"Mudball!" Ben screams out. Everyone was confused why Ben turned into mud was anybody's guess.

Ship was not as he Told Ben in a very ship manner of how everyone can fight and knows how they combat capabilities. Mordin also realised why Ben chose this creature. Miranda also did and had a tilted smirk appearing on her lips. Her arms crossed waiting for the action.

Kasumi Jokes, "Hey as long as he is not getting mud on the carpet. Fine by me" Ben Smirks but is quiet for a second.

Ben is looking at Jack ready for her to attack him. Ben was also glad he got to use Mudball. as it reminds of his cousin Lucy and the Big fat alien wedding he attended during his summer vacation with Grandpa Max and Gwen. Hopefully, Lucy and her family made it out in time to new earth in his old world. Miranda notices the solemn face that Mudball shows. It intrigues her.

Jack starts the confrontation with a blast of her shockwave, but that only scatters only parts of Mudball. Mudball sees this as an opportunity to drive Jack towards him with that shotgun. by slowly trying to smack her with a hammer of mud. Jack dodges of course and heads toward him; she does not notice Mudball smirk as his planned work.

Zaeed chimes in "Jack walks into that one."

Miranda Agrees "yes like my fight she uses her emotions. Though I was angered by the kid beforehand. In most cases using her emotions has helped Jack in fights. But this, well. It is a trap waiting for spring."

Kasumi smirks and whispers in Miranda's ear "woah never thought you praise jack don't worry though I keep quiet." Miranda sent a subtle thank you to the thief.

Jack Charges in slamming a shotgun to Mudball. Smirking "gotcha kid." Ben/Mudball looks at her smirking back. as the mud that is on the floor because of Jack firing her shotgun earlier. Started moving around Jack.

"Well now someone looks like they are in need of a hug." That is what Ben does, he hugs Jack with all that mud. Sucking the life out of her and containing her in a sphere of mud.

Mudball "I think I Win" While at the same time suffocation Jack. He released her to let her breath.

"Beep…. Beep…. BEeeeeeep…Beeeeeep." and a green light appears.

Mudball Turns Back into Ben.

Normandy SR2, Hangar Bay

"Well, that was fun," Ben retorts.

. Jack just punches him in the arm and smiles at him. Then walks back to the elevator.

Ben blink, rubbing his arm. "Well, that was weird, what got her butt."

Kasumi comes up towards Ben with Ship in hand "oh I have a feeling, she is thinking about."

Zaeed Coughs everyone turns to him. "Cough anyway it was fun, but I got to go tune up my weapon. Oh, and kid you got any fire attributes beast in that little do hickey of yours?"

Ben returns "several in fact why?" Zaeed Smiles and just walks aways.

Ben's right eyebrow shot up, "okay that was even weirder."

Kasumi just smiles, "So Ben since you knew. I feel like it my duty as your now new older sister to keep an eye out for you."

"Ship, Ship" Ships agrees.

Ben smirks back with "I have a few Ali-cough I mean creatures that can turn invisible" Kasumi just smiles, liking this kid more and more.

Ben looks around "by the way where Mordin"

Miranda looks at him and replies, "He is going back to the lab for further research. Also, Kasumi, I am Ben Handler. I do not need a gossip infiltrator to…."

Kasumi Interrupts "Well you did an outstanding job so far. I mean who missed the fact that Ben had this device when he was ten. I mean he said it in the meeting." Ben Nod did indeed say that then, also ignoring the fact that Kasumi was at the meeting apparently.

"Ship, ship" nods alongside Ben.

Miranda just moans at that, and murmurs "not my finest moment."

She looked at Ben and spoke. "I would like a data pad on all your creatures and their abilities,"

Ben gives her a deadpanned look "NO! I do not want the illusive man to get his grubby hands on that type of information."

Kasumi chimes in here stopping the argument before it starts "Ben think about, the illusive man made this ship, he is going to have spies here to keep an eye out on the unknown and you my friend are the unknown." Ben Scowls at that knowing she is right.

He looks back at Miranda "Fine you have by the end of the day."

Miranda Nods "thank you and thank you Kasumi." Not outright denying that they are spies on the ship. "I will be in my office if you need me" and then she walks back to the elevator. Kasumi joins her not before she returns Ship back to Ben.

"I'm going to have a word with our friend there, see ya new little bro" Kasumi winks at Ben as smiles and starts setting up his new sleeping arrangements.

Normandy SR2 Elevator

"You know he is not going to give all his creatures secrets, right?" Kasumi jumps right into the start of the conversation.

Miranda Nods "I am aware, I am not stupid to not notice he does not trust Cerberus or the illusive man either. To be honest, I do not know how much information he got from, Ship Hack. So, I am expecting at least his most used ones. ones that he does not use at all. To counter his own information."

Kasumi Nods back "Makes sense really if he is in a firefight against Cerberus."

Miranda continues "he has the advantage because we do not have access to all his creatures so it will be an uneven fight. If he turns into something different that we have not seen before"

Kasumi smiles agreeing. "You are taking this better than I thought you would."

Miranda smiles back "I will not lie and claim I am happy about this situation. but he is an asset and a strong one at that."

Kasumi nods. "I also notice each name has meaning behind them, for example Atomix in the reports on horizon" she hinted to her crewmate.

Miranda Blanches at that realising where she is going with this "if that creature had Atomic Energy, then." She thinks for a moment "Shit."

Kasumi Grins "Indeed"

The elevator doors open and they walk out onto the crew deck. Kasumi, "Nice chatting with you but next time try not to trick the kid."

Miranda nods agreeing, she needs to reevaluate what to do with the information. Then it dawned on her. Shepard knew. He pieced together Ben's capabilities long before Miranda did and he assigned her to him. Shepard used her to recruit Ben. "Shepard Tricked me, that son of a Bi" You can hear Jack in the background laughing in the sub deck of engineering.

Shuttle

Shepard, Garrus, Jacob and now the newly joined Tali'Zorah are in the shuttle heading back to Normandy. A crew member was flying the shuttle.

"Commander!" EDI spoke up in the shuttle.

"Yes EDI!"

"Miranda Figured out you assign her to Ben. in a way to help Ben into joining the crew. Also, she realised that you knew Ben capabilities and was making her angry on purpose and well this is the result."

EDI then sends footage of Brainstorm beating Miranda to his Oni-tool. Garrus just stares dumbfounded by the fact a crab has such a massive brain. Jacob Just Laughs.

"Is that kinetic energy" Tali dumbstruck by watching the fight.

EDI responded, "yes My reading shows that Brainstorm is a highly intelligent creature, which is at least smart or if not equal to mine, which is an AI core brain."

"Fascinating, how does this Ben Turn into these creatures?" Tali asks enthusiastically.

Shepard responds with a smile watching the footage "with his watch, notice that Hourglass symbol on his belt I think." Tali Nods. Shepards continues "That how, it can make him turn into different creatures of different shapes, sizes and powers."

"Fascinating"

Garrus shakes his head at Tali, "Here we go again when Tali sees something, she can't help but…"

Tali angered quickly but jokingly said "I have a shotgun, Garrus. Would you like to see it?"

Garrus Hands in the air "I am shutting up now."

Tali quips, patting him on his scar. "Good Birdy."

Garrus just stares with Narrow slits. Jacob Smirks Next to Shepard "whipped" Shepard is having a tough time not laughing at this. his old friends working together again. Tali also worked with Shepard back when Saran was a threat.

Joker Comes in "Oh and Commander"

Shepard response "yes Joker"

"Um, Ben decided to sleep in the hangar bay, which is big enough to train there for his creatures."

Shepard Nods "Thanks for the heads-up joker"

"No problem commander"

Garrus snorted but asked. "So Illum next"

Shepard Nods. "Yes, we need to recruit Thane and Samara. I am thinking of separate teams. one going after Thane while the other after Samara, but we do not know till we see Liara as well. She apparently has information on them."

Tali Nod "Shepard you need to know out of everyone. Liara took it the worst; you need to be patient with her and wait till you are both ready."

Shepard nods but his smile turns upside down "I know Tali and thanks" Tali nods back.

Jacob chimes in. "Separate teams make sense, Commander. I recommend putting Ben in the second team sir."

Garrus inputs as well. "I agree, let's see how Ben reacts to on the field mission and go from there,"

Shepard Nods along "Agreed I select the team and once I am back on the Normandy I talk with Miranda, or rather her talk with me. I doubt she doing to forgive me for my trickery."

Everyone snickers at that. Then Tali just remembered something.

"Wait. you have an AI on your ship!" She exclaimed. Both Shepard and Garrus groaned. They both turn to Jacob to explain who looked like he did not want to be anyway in the shuttle. The pilot just closed his door.

"Well Tali…." Jacob started explaining but noticed she gently pulling out her shotgun.
