Chapter 45: RTA #1-Prologue, Chapters 1&2

H- Oh my god I don't think we'll get any sleep for a week.

R- Lex, anything we need to know?

L- Oh... Buckle in.

Rescue Team Academy: Adventurous Tales: Book 1          

E- I'm just being nitpicky, but that line goes absolutely nowhere.

Prologue 

“Eclipse,” Said a grey cat with bright, beautiful green eyes. “Yes, Peridot?” Asked Eclipse. “Are you worried that people will find out about our powers?” Asked Peridot.

H- Is this a good old book about being the only supernaturals

L- No.

It was a dark night. One of the rarest sights in (I HAD TO REMOVE THIS BECAUSE IT WAS MY LAST NAME) Street was two stray animals. People on that street LOVED their animals. In fact, the town was loving their animals because of RTA, the town’s superheroes.

E- Lex, this is the story that you're always talking about?

L- This was the concept. The actual story I'm making right now? Way better.

The team consisted of a tiger technician with blue wings.

R- Tigerwings?

L- You remembered!

But yet, the most fierce. Then a half fox, half cheetah, who was the leader.

R- Foxgirl?

L- Yep!

But the most surprising was a T-rex guardian. 

R- Dinoboy?

L- You're the best!

Which of whom, they could maybe just meet these rare stray animals.

H- That sentence makes no sense at all.

Chapter 1: 

A Terrible Fight At The HQ     

L- it's not that terrible.

“I told you! We need to check the town AGAIN!” Shouted a very angry Foxgirl.    “You COULD just agree with me Foxgirl” Growled Tigerwings. “There's no STRAYS left! WAKE UP!”

H- (mockingly) there's no STRAYS left! WAKE UP!

“As leader of the Rescue Team, I declare that we CHECK THE TOWN AGAIN FOR MORE STRAYS!” By the four K-9’s of Fox Foregiens! 

L- Ah yes, for-eh-gee-ans.

Thought  FoxGirl. “WE DON’T NEED TO!!! I THINK THE CITIZENS  ALREADY HAVE IT COVERED” Shouted Tigerwings. Oooooohhhh, I COULD JUST KILL HER. But Foxgirl used her mind reading.

R- But Foxgirl used her mind reading? That solves everything!

“Trying to kill me? OH! RIGHT! I'M THE LEADER! YOU PROMISED TO BE LOYAL! SHOULD I JUST LEAVE YOU ALONE?!” She said sarcastically. “Wipe the sarcasm off your mind or I will do it FOR you.”

E- I remember there being a smirk involved in that saying but okay.

Growled Tigerwings as she grabbed her own leader and SHOVED

H- NO WAY, SHOVED?

her to the hard ground. Before Foxgirl could strike back, it went dark, and about one hundred gemstone spikes went straight through their force field AND their bulletproof windows.

L- The security measures are kind of basic for a superhero base.

Something is coming. Thought Foxgirl. We just don’t know what. Just like that, the door opened…..

R- I really needed the visual representation of the gemstone spikes, thanks.

H- That's not really a spike.

Chapter 2: The Arrival

E- "Hello there."

“Who-who-who’s there?” cried Tigerwings.

L- I thought you were the most fierce, Tigerwings, hmmm?

“My dear friend Eclipse heard disagreement in this place. So me and her decided to do a little… well, visit.” Said a grey cat with the green eyes. “Yes. This is Peridot. For we come in peace. But if there are any other fights, there may be consequences.” Said Eclipse.

H- Hall monitors, am I right?

“Yeah? Like what?” Growled Foxgirl. “I am beyond sorry, but you will experience them now. Peridot?” Asked Eclipse. Just then, Peridot held her paw up,

E- (a la Peridot) "Eclipse can smell your future!"

and Foxgirl watched helplessly as Tigerwings got trapped in a gemstone sphere. Eclipse’s turn now. She opened a magical portal and pushed Foxgirl into the portal. Where did it lead? The Arctic…. She did not see anything but one word written in the snow. She formed wings and flew up to look.

L- "Sush... It... Oh, I sat on the s and h!"

She was surprised and confused when she saw the single word. Because it was a clue.

E- Okay, Sherlock!

The word said… “Luna”. 

L- Eclipse is really putting the time and effort into these clues on the other side of the world.

1... 2... 3... 4... 5.. 6...

Chapter 46: RTA #1- Host Segment

(Emily is portraying Foxgirl and Lexsi is portraying Tigerwings)

Emily: Hey, Tigerwings, I wanna have a chat.

Lexsi: Is this about that one insignificant street in the middle of nowhere?

Emily: It's not insignificant. WE NEED TO LOOK FOR MORE STRAYS!

Lexsi: Wow, you're making like, such a big deal out of-

Emily: SO ARE YOU!

Lexsi: OH YEAH? WIPE THAT FEROCIOUS ENERGY OFF YOUR FUR OR I'LL DO IT FOR YOU!

(they both Catfight! heheheheh!)

(Jonah and Joel enter. Jonah is portraying Peridot and Joel is portraying Eclipse. They're both wearing hall monitor sashes)

(They talk like an old school anti-bullying video)

Joel: Hey guys, that's not cool.

Jonah: You should talk to each other about your feelings, yo!

Emily and Lexsi: We should?

Joel: Yeah. Me and my blood here Peridot sensed a disturbance in the radical world of peace.

Jonah: And if you don't stop fighting, there'll be some anti-cool consequences.

Emily: Okay...

Joel: Here's our Uber cool prompt. "When you" blank, "I feel" blank.

Emily: Tigerwings, when you disobey my ridiculous orders I feel mad.

Lexsi: When you make ridiculous orders I wanna slam your head against the floor.

Jonah: And that kids... Is bonding! Be kind to others!

Joel: Nah, they didn't do good enough.

Emily and Lexsi: What?

Joel: Sorry, dudes, but I guess you're gonna have to suffer more than your house has!

(Jonah and Joel throw streamers at them)

BEEP! BEEP!

ALL: WE GOT STORY SIGN!

Chapter 47: RTA #1- Chapter 3

Chapter 3: The Arctic Eclipse

Foxgirl went on thinking about her friend. But the question was: Who were those strange animals, are they…. Strays?

H- Of course that's the first thought that comes to her mind.

Impossible Foxgirl thought. They are animals, 

R- That's just discrimination!

just like us unless- The moon started shaping into a familiar dog face- ECLIPSE! So that's what “Luna” ment!

L- MENT?

Unless that meant she would come here? No. Impossible. “For we aren’t normal ones like you think.” Eclipse! “Eclipse! I’m sorry! Forgive me!” Foxgirl begged. “Don’t you worry pointless fox. For I-” “FOXES AREN’T POINTLESS!!” Shouted Foxgirl.

E- She finds the argument in absolutely everything.

“Do they help the earth? No.” Said Eclipse. “Well, I do!” Foxgirl said.  “Ugh, you RTA’s are SO annoying.” Eclipse said as she rolled her eyes. “Anyway, you got my single word in the snow, right?” Eclipse asked.

E- (a la Eclipse) "I'm trying out the new IOS feature."

This is getting suspicious… Foxgirl thought. “Yes, I'm sitting on the U in ‘Luna’.” Foxgirl replied. “But what does it mean?” “It’s not midnight. ‘Luna’ meant midnight. It will happen right here.” Eclipse sounded like it was a trap.

R- Well, despite Eclipse being kind of evil and all, she does seem to check up on her hostages!

“Wait. WHAT will happen?” Foxgirl asked. “A mega eclipse.” Eclipse said. “For when I was born, I accidentally used my powers for something bad. Then, every day that the snow is the coldest, a mega ellipse

L- I love ellipses.

will happen, and a beam of light will face down on all animals and suck them into the moon, but lucky for me…” Eclipse paused. Then said something even Foxgirl couldn't handle it. “It only attacks the arctic.”

H- Oh come on, you wimp, you can handle that!

“But I can’t die.” Foxgirl said. “Neither can I, but you will be trapped in the moon, that is worse.” Said Eclipse. “Oh! It’s happening! Bye!” Eclipse said as she was in the portal.

L- That was an awfully long chat.

The beam of light struck down. But Foxgirl wasn’t in the arctic, because she was in the portal with Eclipse too… “NO! THIS WASN’T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!!!” Eclipse shouted. Then they were in the HQ….        

E- Where the heck is Foxgirl's cheetah half?

Chapter 48: RTA #1- END

Chapter 4: Back At HQ

L- This is one long ass chapter. Be prepared.

Eclipse was about to open another portal but Foxgirl pinned the black dog down. “Get OFF ME YOU FOX!”

H- Every single sentence has only proven to us more that Foxgirl doesn't have a cheetah half.

shouted Eclipse in fury. “What have you done with my friend?” Growled Foxgirl, obviously angry.

E- Well, obviously.

“I’ll never tell.” Eclipse growled back. But then Foxgirl remembered that Tigerwings had been trapped in the big gemstone. I-I-I forgot about her. Is she OK there? Foxgirl thought. As they entered the HQ, it had gems of all kinds scattered on the wall, two thrones for Peridot and Eclipse. The whole HQ was made of GEMS! “Wha-” Foxgirl said. “We decided to do a little redecorating, you have to admit it’s an improvement”

R- (a la Peridot) "The bulletproof windows were so tacky."

Peridot laughed. “THIS ISN’T ANYTHING AT ALL LIKE AN IMPROVEMENT!” Foxgirl shouted at Peridot and Eclipse. “Oh, and we are thanking you for giving us your buddy, she is in our dungeons,

E- I love how a superhero HQ doesn't have a prison. It has a castle dungeon.

working for us. She made us watches.”  Eclipse said as she showed Foxgirl the glittering watch made out of moonstone. But only one of us is able to make watches unless- no TIGERWINGS!

L- (a la Eclipse) "Uh, yeah, that's what we just said..."

Foxgirl thought in pure horror.  Just then, Tigerwings came out of the dungeons. “QUEEN ECLIPSE! THE ACID ISN’T WORKING!”

H- Explain.

E- When is the acid ever working?

Tigerwings shouted. “Queen?” Foxgirl asked. “Yes, kneel before queen Peridot and queen Eclipse.” Queen Eclipse said. Foxgirl refused to kneel. “I am not kneeling for a not-queen. EVER!” Foxgirl said. “Shall we do it the old fashion way? Or are you running with your tail between your paws, HA! You can’t even read my mind. Only Queen Eclipse knows who you are.”

L- Critical hit! The underestimation makes Foxgirl remember that she can indeed read minds!

Queen Peridot said as she began to laugh. Ha! We are strays! That fox is a coward! 

H- Sudden Death! Peridot thinks out of line and gives Foxgirl the ego that she needs!

“I AM NOT A COWARD!” shouted Foxgirl, I knew that there were more strays in this town. I just KNEW IT! “How-?” “I can read anyone’s mind. You should know that STRAY!” Foxgirl shouted at the fake queens. “Fine, we are strays, but that doesn't mean we CHANGE OUR TITLE BACK TO A STRAY!” Eclipse shouted.

R- I don't think the term "title" is a way to describe it.

E- (a la fox in the picture) "Wazzup?"

 “What do you mean stray dog?” asked Foxgirl, suspiciously. “I saw your childhood for all these years, you were a lone fox, in the grass, with no one at your side. Until a flying tiger came.” Eclipse said.

E- My Oh my! A backstory!

“SO?” cried Foxgirl. “I saw the reason you saved those animals…..” “Yeah? WHAT?” Foxgirl shouted. “You WERE a stray, little fox.” Eclipse said.

L- This is all denied in the future books by the way.

“What?” Tigerwings asked. “OK, I’ll admit, I had no one to care for me, no one to talk to, no one to play with until Tigerwings showed up, she was my first friend, my first

L- TIGER JUMP SCARE!

true friend, my only friend at the time. We wanted to save strays so we could give them a nice, loving family. I can see your past Eclipse. Same as mine. I understand how you must feel. Unloved, no one that cared about you, but that can all change, only if youchange.” Foxgirl said. “I saw YOU as a cub, alone, afraid, and

abandoned.” Foxgirl told Peridot.

H- They have said the same thing for each of them.

E- Tigerwings clearly didn't get the memo.

“OK. We are friends.” Peridot cried.

R- (a la Peridot) "I decided that just now."

“You can’t do it that easily, Peridot.” Eclipse warned. “They may see our past and are like us, but that doesn't mean we can TRUST them.” Eclipse said. “How foolish, Eclipse.” Said Foxgirl. “You always trust. Here, take my paw and we can be family. Me and you Eclipse, and Tigerwings with Peridot.”

R- What happened to the dinosaur?

H- I was so looking forward to a T-Rex.

Foxgirl said as she held out her paw. “I guess you are kind of friendly.” Said Eclipse. And just like that, Peridot, Eclipse, Foxgirl, and Tigerwings all joined forces and saved all strays. But the adventure will continue. Find what happens next in Rescue Team Academy: Adventurous Tales Book 2!
