A stray cat and a stray dog,

Paw to paw, there was no flaw.

`CHAPTER 1
3 YEARS AGO
ALONG THE COAST OF JUNGLE OCEANA
“Sorry! I’m trying to earn my stripes!” Said a very speedy tiger. “Sis! Keep going on the sand trail!!!” Tigerwings called from above her sister.
G- I know who Tigerwings is! It's another one of Lexsi's characters from her good books!
T- Oh great, here comes the concept drafts from her cheesy writing phase...
“Oh, were YOU on the trail while trying to earn YOUR stripes???” Said Tigerwing’s sister. “For your information, I earned mine BURNING this trail.” Said a dreamy tiger with long eyelashes.
M- (a la Dreamy Tiger) "I'm yet to pay those fines."
T- Tigers have eyelashes?
The speedy tiger then looked at her fur. No stripes have
ALL- AHHH!
appeared. Just plain old orange. “I, Tigerflash, daughter of Tigerfall, have not earned my stripes for the, ummmmm, 1,000th time,
T- (a la Tigerflash) "But who's counting?"
therefore, I give up” Said the speedy tiger. “No!” Said Tigerwings. “You trained for this day! You- OH MY GOSH LOOK WHAT IS IN THE WATER!!!!”
C- (a la Tigerwings) "Now that they're all distracted I can make my escape! Muahahahahaha!"
“Is that- a fox?” Asked the tiger next to Tigerflash. “It’s a fox, Tigerfire, that's what it looks like.” Said Tigerwings. “FOXES AREN’T ALLOWED IN THIS LAND! IT’S THE LAW!!! KILL IT! KILL IT!”
M- Hey, guys, just politely ask it to leave!
Tigerfire shouted, creating fire on her paws. “It might be a fox who is a rogue, she isn’t what foxes think.” Said Tigerwings. “What? She turned into a cheetah! How is this possible???” Asked Tigerfire in confusion.
C- (a la Fox) "Am I allowed now?"
“Hey, do you remember that HUGE fog storm yesterday? There were gems, an epic eclipse, and in the middle of the fog, there were two animals! A dog and a cat!”
T- Yeah, but- the fox-
Said Tigerfire and Tigerflash. But Tigerwings did not listen, she was friends with the fox now.
ALL- JUST LIKE THAT?
Then a huge gem appeared across the sky! Things couldn’t get weirder from here, right?
M- Why are you guys so casual about it?
Chapter 50: RTA #2- Chapters 2 & 3

CHAPTER 2
PRESENT
RTA HQ
“Eclipse! Eclipse!” Peridot whispered into the sleepy dog’s ear.
T- Eclipse is a dog. Write that down.
“It’s mid- oh, right!” Said Eclipse as they trotted outside of their room into the lobby of the HQ. “It has been 3 years since the last fog storm! It could be tonight!!!”
T- Mike, how come you never described fog storms to us?
M- We humans usually call those bus stops.
Peridot yelled as they got outside. “It’s not happening. I saw the future.” Eclipse said.
T- (a la Peridot) "No SPOILERS!"
“Oh, ok” Said Peridot as they got back inside. “Hey, the only way into our room is the hall of cameras. Who knows if they are on!” Said Eclipse as she turned invisible.
(Mike cracks up)
M- Hall of cameras!
“Well we’ll find out in just a minute!” cried Peridot as she hurried after Eclipse. Peridot then turned into the size of a gem shard and hopped onto invisible Eclipse’s ear. “They ARE on, I can hear the humming, go check to make sure” Said Eclipse
C- This looks like a death trap.
as she flung tiny Peridot from her ear into the security camera. “IT’S ON!!!” Said Peridot as she jumped back into Eclipse’s, well, tail since she was invisible. They were normal again in their bed. Then Eclipse had a horrible nightmare….
G- (echoing) "Sephora on Saturdays..."
CHAPTER 3
ECLIPSE’S MIND
“Hello.” Said a voice familiar to Foxgirl’s. “F- Foxgirl?”
M- Now who the hell is Foxgirl?
Asked Eclipse in horror as she opened her eyes. Then, as she looked into Foxgirl’s eyes, a strange thing happened. She felt power from her fade. And she couldn’t control the powers inside her.
C- POW! Sorry.
“Wha?” She asked as the poem she heard as a baby came on her mind. “The dog and the moon will control the moon, and the gems will control gems too, the fox will have a magnificent town, and the tiger with wings too. The only danger that awaits this horrible, town, this horrible, place. Is when a dinosaur sees the dirt at Earth.
T- There's a dinosaur? I wanna read this story now.
He will then give a signal to all the villains in this beautiful morn. All you have to do is be prepared for the fog storm…..” The voice sounded like the Tiger fire. It was a warning! “WAKE UP! YOU ARE MISSING IT!!!” Shouted a voice.
M- One hell of a nightmare.
C- I know, Mike.
1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6...
Chapter 51: RTA #2- Host Segment
(Mike, Tom, Gypsy, and Crow are sat at a table with notebooks and pencils)
Mike: Alright, fellas, the reason I brought you in here today is to discuss this lingering prophecy in our book.
Crow: Mike, the mention of fog storms in this one is shocking.
Tom: I know, right? Gypsy, have you found out anything about these fog storms?
Gypsy: I drew a family picture.
(They all groan)
Mike: Well can we see it?
Tom: Hey, how come the tall guy and that purple suit girl aren't in there?
Gypsy: I've never got to know them.
Crow: Why's Lexsi hugging you?
Gypsy: She's had the time for me, Mike.
Tom: Why's Joel carrying Cambot?
Gypsy: Because.
Crow: Why are me and Tom punching each other?
Gypsy: You guys fight all the time!
Crow: Gypsy, please.
Tom: Sure, we may have squabbles, but-
Crow: Be mature!
Tom: Yes!
(silence)
Crow and Tom: Am I winning?
Mike: Well, Gypsy, that's a very good drawing- why don't you show it to Joel and Lexsi so we could move on with our topic?
Gypsy: Okay...
(Gypsy exits. Other voices are heard)
Joel: Gypsy! Honey! That's a very good drawing!
Lexsi: Awwww- your art style is so cute!
Gypsy: Thank you!
Mike: Now about the fog storm, gentlemen.
(Crow and Tom have drawn family pictures)
Crow: We're gonna show these to Joel now.
Tom: Bye.
(Crow and Tom exit.)
Joel: Crow and Tom Servo! Are all my bots little artists?
Lexsi: The detail! You're all so great!
(Lexsi and Joel enter, waving by to them)
(they break when looking at Mike)
Lexsi: Why does Crow have a chainsaw in his picture?
Mike: (exasperated) I- I don't know.
BEEP! BEEP!
Tom, Crow, Gypsy, and Mike: WE GOT STORY SIGN!

CHAPTER 4
THE NEXT DAY
RTA HQ
“GAAAAAAHHH!!!” Eclipse shouted. She realized it was just a dream. She saw dinoboy.
ALL- There really IS a dinosaur!
“Where have you been, in the dream world, E?” Dinoboy asked, laughing. “You were howling at the top of your lungs! I thought it was a pack of wolves!” Laughed Dinoboy.
C- What a... Jolly guy!
T- He laughs so much, at least convert to "chuckled".
“What did I miss.” Sighed Eclipse. “The dirt! It’s my favorite color! Think I should follow it?”
C- Okay, nevermind, this dinosaur is a wimp, let's go home.
“No! I mean- It’s pointless to follow a patch of your favorite dirt? You believe that you HAVE to?” Asked Eclipse. “I mean- AAAAHHH!!!!” Eclipse said as she fainted.
T- And Dinoboy does nothing.
Past...NO! Don’t! STOP!
C- How nice! She's trying to stop her own character development!
YOU KNOW! KNOW! NO! PAST! PAST! And just like that, Eclipse fell asleep……
Chapter 53: RTA #2- Chapter 5

CHAPTER 5
ECLIPSE’S MIND
C- I imagine an inhale in this blank space.
6 YEARS AGO….
“Hey! Eclipse! Wake up! Look at the moon!!!!” Past
C- Oh! Past is a NAME!
G- Past is very cool in the newer ones Lexsi's writing.
yelled in her little sister’s ear. “Wow, I never realized how brown you are.” Said Eclipse. “Yup! A brown husky!!!”
C- A brown husky and a black dog are sisters... Okay, let's just see...
Past said. “This is the sunniest day of the year! Are you excited?” “I’m just excited for nap time. In the dark, quiet space.” “Ugh, come on sis! You say that ALL the time.” “I’m a dark wolf
ALL- WOLF?
M- I don't remember that!
who likes the dark! What can I say?” “Sissies! Mommy caught a penguin!” Said Daylight, Past and Eclipse’s little sister. Which was born with sun powers. “YUM! Coming! I CALL FIRST DIBS!” cried Eclipse. “Oh, so NOW you're active. When food arrives.” Laughed Past. “Oh, Present, this is the emperor penguin! I love your hunting powers!”
C- And what are they? Sniffing?
Said Future, the pup’s dad. He was brown with a beautiful white streak down his muzzle. Present, the pup’s mom, was a dark brown.
T- Both brown... Black dog, brown husky, and potentially golden dog... Something doesn't add up.
As Eclipse sat and ate, she realized that her mom made the catch that no one had ever seen in family history. That night, Eclipse wanted to make her family proud. She set off to find another rare catch. Her sister, Past, was on watch. Eclipse used her invisibility and night vision. Past had used her HEAT VISION.
C- I'm wondering if the author's mindset was like "What superpower would help them the most?" And then slap it on there.
She saw Eclipse and ran towards her. Eclipse turned around, and went headfirst into Past’s body. She now is in the mind of Past. She put Past back to sleep. And jumped into her own body again.
M- I don't think she'll do that for the rest of the book.
“Speak no more of this, Past .” Eclipse said. “You once made the family proud.” Eclipse said selfishly.
C- I didn't know she was selfish! Thanks!
“Now I will….” She laughed. She then got pecked on the head. She looked up, and there was the rare penguin, the one that can fly into space.
G- Penguins flying?
She caught it. But the moon started getting brighter. For some reason, she saw her family. Looking at the moon in terror, Eclipse ran toward them, losing a heartbeat every breath.
C- How does that work?
A beam shot down, she tried to push them…. But it was too late. Her family was transported onto the moon. And all Eclipse was seeing was a gemstone gently blazing across the sky,
M- That sounds familiar.
she followed it. And that was the last time she saw her family….
C- Okay, so I was right. A golden retriever.
T- I don't know if that's Eclipse or Present.
Chapter 54: RTA #2- Chapter 6&7

CHAPTER 6
HQ
PRESENT
Eclipse found herself fine when she woke up.
T- (suggestively) So do I.
She heard some screaming. “ACID! ACID IN THE HALL!” Shouted Peridot. Eclipse ran out of her room to see what had happened with their melting acid.
G- But acid is already melting!
She saw Peridot using her gem shield to not make it go any further than the science room. “How- what?” Eclipse cried. “You have to be kidding me! I TOLD you the acid wasn’t working!” Tigerwings yelled.
ALL- When is the acid ever working?
C- Exactly! That's what I think!
T- Yeah!
“Oh…… you…… did?” asked Peridot sheepishly. “He he, I guess I wasn’t listening all that much,” Said Eclipse and Peridot. “Well, HELP, knuckleheads!” Said Peridot to Eclipse. Then, after the spill, Foxgirl
M- Again, who's Foxgirl?
G- The main character.
T- Doesn't seem like it.
saw footprints, and they were DINOSAUR footprints…. “Did-did Dinoboy do that on PURPOSE?” Said Peridot and Eclipse. “He must have…” Said Foxgirl. “But WHY?” “He wanted to follow that dirt. He distracted us!”
M- Leave the dirt alone man...
Eclipse said. “Well that explains the footprints following this dirt.” Said Foxgirl as she looked outside. “Foxgirl, can you see what that trail leads to?” Eclipse asked. “The arctic.” Foxgirl said, worried. “And?” Asked Eclipse in horror. It was a long, terrible pause. Finally, Foxgirl said, “The snow is the coldest, Eclipse!”
C- Okay... So?
“OH NO! IT’S GOING TO HAPPEN!” Eclipse shouted as she curled into a ball. “There, there, it’s going to be ok. I mean, despite all the animals in the arctic getting sucked into the moon!”
G- See? She cursed the moon!
M- You actually read Lexsi's stuff?
said Foxgirl with a forced smile, trying her hardest to assure Eclipse. “No, not only will they be on the moon, but we will lose our guardians!”
C- Like celestial guardians?
Eclipse said. “Wait, what is it all about the moon and stuff?” Asked Tigerwings and Peridot.
ALL- AT THE SAME TIME?
“The mega eclipse.” Said Eclipse. Can they save Dinoboy in time?
T- Well, I don't know! You tell me. You're the book.
CHAPTER 7
THE MOON
PRESENT
“Ok, Daylight, how is your sister?” Asked Present. Daylight was using her SUPER VISION. A vision where she can see anyone she can think of.
C- Clearly not 20/20.
Like Eclipse, her older sister. Six years ago, when they got sucked into the moon, Future, the dad, couldn’t resist the transport and ended up having a heart attack and died. Leaving The mom, Present, Past, Eclipse’s older sister, and Daylight, Eclipse’s younger sister. “Oh, Amethyst, who is your kitty?”
ALL- WOAH!
C- At least make a new paragraph! Jeez...
T- I wasn't ready for that.
Past asked a tall cat with purple eyes. “Jasper, tell the tale.” Said Amethyst. Past looked over to a grey cat with yellow eyes. “Ah, It was a stormy night, the only sound we heard was wind.
M- WSHHHHHHHHHHSHSHSHSHSHSHWWSSSHHH
We were in our hut, living the wildlife, Amethyst was having a kitty this night.
C- Stop saying "kitty", please.
As she gave birth, we used our gem vision, the vision of gemstone cats, like us. We saw a peridot on that kitty’s
T- Stop.
head. So we named her Peridot. After, we had a kitty
C- stoooOOOOOOp.
with a lapis on her head in gem vision, so we named her Lapis Lazuli. Or Lapis, for short.” Jasper said. “Hey, Jasper, Amethyst. This sounds kind of crazy, but I'll give you the vision of your daughter…”
M- SEE?
Daylight said as she gave Amethyst and Jasper a sight of Peridot. “Impossible.” Said Jasper. “I know, our sis Eclipse is there too.” Said Daylight. “Jasper.” Amethyst said in worry. “Our daughter
G- No kitty.

M- I wouldn't call that gray, he's more of a murky tan-brown.

Chapter 55: RTA #2- Host Segment
(Gypsy is looking at a laptop while Tom's hand is on the touch pad)
Tom: Now?
Gypsy: No.
(Gypsy makes small content sounds as she reads what's on the laptop)
Tom: Now?
Gypsy: No.
(Crow enters, curious)
Gypsy: Now.
(Tom pulls back his arm by moving his body and "scrolls" down)
Crow: Hey, Tom. Hey, Gyps. What's going on?
Tom: That stupid Lexsi Marinn sent her another draft of her good stories.
Crow: Oh. How is it, Gypsy?
(Gypsy gasps.)
Tom: What?
Gypsy: Oh!
Tom: What, Gypsy? I can only read so fast!
Gypsy: They're alive! They're alive!
(Mike enters)
Mike: Hey, guys, what's up?
Crow: Hold on.
(Crow reads and gasps)
Crow: Something happened earlier and now the characters are alive I think!
(Gypsy goes absolutely crazy. She chomps down the laptop with her mouth and runs off)
Tom: You think your lives are boring? Try scrolling for her.
Crow: Eh. I told her I have arthritis in my claws, so she doesn't let me scroll for her.
Mike: She likes reading, fellas-

ALL: WE GOT STORY SIGN!

5 HOURS LATER
“Is it cold today!?” Said Eclipse with a shiver down her spine.
C- I. DON'T. KNOW!
ALL- YOU. TELL. ME!
“Hey! These are tracks of Dinoboy! We are close!” Said Foxgirl and Peridot.
C- AT THE SAME-
M- Okay, let's stop reusing riffs.
“How do YOU know?” Asked Tigerwings as she looked at the gray cat. “For starters, us cats use what we call GEM VISION.” Said Peridot. “For instance, you have a… wait, wha? It’s not a birthstone I have heard of.” Said Peridot. “It appears that your birthstone is a Feline birthstone.”
T- Yeah, but... How'd you know?
G- That's not a stone!
C- God, you're a rock nerd too?
Said the surprised Peridot. “So your name is Feline. And Foxgirl, you are Bloodstone.” Said Peridot. “You, Eclipse, is Moonstone.”
M- Why is Tigerwings different?
“Why?” Asked Eclipse. “When we meet my parents, we need to be presented by our gem names.” Said Peridot. “My actual name is Gemlight.” Said Peridot. “But Gemlight is old, I prefer to be called Peridot.” “Well, if I were in your family, I would be Moonstone!”
T- (a la Peridot) "Yeah... That's what I said..."
Eclipse said. “Cool!” “Hey guys! You need to have fur to do this jump!” Called Dinoboy above them.
C- (calling up to Dinoboy) "You have scales, so..."
“Dinoboy! DON’T!” Eclipse yelled as she realized a gong below the cliff. If Dinoboy jumps, the three bad guys will come! And before we know it, we will be caught in the MEGA ECLIPSE!! Eclipse thought in worry.
T- this is screaming "plot thickens"
C- No this is more of a "there's an ancient religion and we somehow get it like a little bit."
“Guys, look!” Said Eclipse. Everybody looked up and saw that Peridot made a staircase to the moon. “Climb!”
(ALL make choking sounds)
Dinoboy, please don’t jump. “YO EVERYONE! I’M GOING TO DO IT!”
T- Shut up, Dinoboy.
M- He wasn't noticed much in grade school.
shouted Dinoboy. “NO DON’T!” cried Peridot, Eclipse, Tigerwings and Foxgirl at once. As Dinoboy started to transform into a Compsognathus, Peridot, Eclipse, Tigerwings and Foxgirl had reached the top of the staircase.
(More choking sounds)
“Um, Eclipse. What do we do now?” asked Foxgirl worryingly.
T- WOAH! Where are we? Rome?
Chapter 9:
The Moon
Present
“No way.” Said Eclipse as she saw her family again. “ECLIPSE!!!” Past screamed as she ran towards her sister. “Mom?” Asked Peridot as she hugged her mom. “Peridot! I am so happy!” Amethyst cried as she wrapped her arms around Peridot. “Lapis, I missed you!” Yelled Peridot as she hugged her sister. “Hi, I am Tigerwings, oop, I mean, Feline.” Said Tigerwings
C- (a la Tigerwings) "Oopsie daisies!"
as she struggled with her gem name. “Hi, Im Bloodstone!” Said Foxgirl. “My gem name is Moonstone.” Said Eclipse. “Hey, look!” Said Daylight. Everybody saw that Dinoboy rang the gong. And Dirtdog,
C- Who?
Superfiretiger,
T- Who?
and a moose
ALL- WHO?
all came. But there was a blue galaxy colored lion… who is it?
T- (angry) GEE, I DON'T KNOW! JESUS?
