PROLOGUE    

THE MOON

1 YEAR AFTER MEGA ECLIPSE

J- (at the picture) What'd I do?

A grey cat with pink eyes looked at her sister, a grey cat with orange eyes. “Sardonyx, will we see Luna today?” Asked the pink eyed cat. “Spinel, you know we see Luna EVERY day.”

L- "Idiot."

Sardonyx giggled at her little sister. Just like that, a black dog with a little pup appeared in a portal. “Hey Spinel and Sardonyx! Eclipse and Luna are here!” Shouted their mother, Peridot.

J- Hey, look! It's our favorite Hall monitors!

“Yay! Eclipse! How is Luna today?” asked Spinel and Sardonyx.

T- The characters in all of these books are so in sync.

“Why don’t you go play with her while your mother and I have a talk.” Eclipse smiled at the cats. “Yes! You promised to do this, Luna!” Smiled Sardonyx as she looked at Luna’s portal to Earth.

L- Oh riiiiight... They're on the moon.

J- I don't remember that.

L- It happened when I was with Kinga and stuff.

“Let’s go in!” Shouted Spinel as her sister, and herself went into the black portal. “Luna! We have to leave!” Shouted Eclipse as she looked at where they were playing. Eclipse came back with a worried face. “What, Eclipse?” Asked Peridot. “The children.” Eclipse said.

L- Revolting children.

T- I never knew you liked Matilda.

L- I don't. I'm a theater kid who knows song names so I need them for jokes.

“What? What is it with the children this time?” asked Peridot worriedly. “There is a paw print, then I don’t see a track, they must have used Luna’s portal.”

J- Isn't this the kid's superpower? I think they need to put down some ground rules for her.

CHAPTER 1

RTA HQ

PRESENT

“AHHH! What are you- oh, my mother told me about you two, nice to meet you!” Smiled a grey cat with blue eyes.

L- What? They're literally not from here.

“Are you my aunt’s daughter?” Asked Spinel as she hopped through the portal. “Yes, you are Spinel and Sardonyx, yes? I am Sapphire.” Smiled the grey cat with blue eyes. “Hey, who are these cats? And the dog apparently?” said a sweet male cat.

T- Let's hope he lives up to that, shall we?

“Hi, my name is Garnet, I am Sapphire’s brother.” said Garnet sweetly. “Luna? Are you my cousin?” Asked a brown husky. “I am Time, Past’s daughter.” Said Time.

J- Strangely specific names.

“Where are we, heaven? Did my portal not work? Again? Awww! I really thought we would be going to Earth guys. Sorry.” said Luna, sadly.

J- That is the funniest thing I've ever read in your books.

T- Good job, Lex.

“No, your not!”

J- Not what? Apologizing?

said a bold, but yet soft voice.

L- That's what we call an OXYMORON, kids!

T- Why, because it's spoken by a moron, or because it's spoken like a moron?

“Huh?” said Spinel, Sardonyx, and Luna in unison. “Hi, have your mothers told you about me?” asked the strange creature. She looked as though she was a bit fox, and a bit cheetah. “I…….. think…….. So…….”

L- See the dot dot dot dot dot? She's confused and hesitant.

J- Huh.

said Luna slowly. “Oh. That’s ok. For I am Foxgirl.” 

J- I'm so scared to find out what would happen if they didn't know who she was.

Chapter 96: RTA #4- Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2: 

RTA HQ

PRESENT

Foxgirl jumped down from a cliff she created and then made it disappear with a flick of her paw.

J- You're telling me she created a cliff so she could pull a Lion King just in case her friend's kids came back to Earth?

T- Jonah, she's dedicated.

“So, do I ring any bells for you? If I don’t, that is perfectly fine.” said Foxgirl happily.

L- same question from before, different font.

“Yes, yes! I know who you are!” shouted Spinel, Sardonyx, and Luna in unison. “You are one of my mom’s closest friends besides Auntie Peridot!”

J- I don't know if that was an insult or...

cried Luna, obviously excited now. “Oh Eclipse… how  I miss you…… Anywho! So as you may know, I am the leader of RTA. BUT! What you don’t know is…….”

T- The dots indicate suspense.

said Foxgirl. “Come here Alaska!” Foxgirl called calmly. Slowly a little Timber wolf puppy came into the room.

ALL- THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!

“H-H-H-Hi, I am A-A-A-Alaska…… Who…. are… you?”

T- Not another stutter wutter.

stammered Alaska. “Alaska, this is Luna, Eclipse’s daughter, and Spinel and Sardonyx, Peridot's daughters. Boy, how I miss them……

L- Cut to the chase, hon.

But as you can already see, they are fantastically nice! I think once you all get to know each other, you all will be amazing friends!” And as the hours went by, Spinel, Sardonyx, Luna, and Alaska all became great friends. Just then, Tigerwings walked in. 

Chapter 97: RTA #4- Chapter 3

CHAPTER 3: 

Meeting Tigerflight: 

RTA HQ, PRESENT.

“HI! I heard that you were- OH MY GOSH LOOK AT YOU! YOU ARE LUNA RIGHT?” Shouted Tigerwing’s daughter, Tigerflight.

J- WHO ARE ALL THESE PEOPLE?!

Alaska looked down and started crying. “What is wrong?” Asked Luna. “My older sister, Cheetahgirl.”

T- Okay, number one, let's state the obvious, of course it's CheetahGIRL.

L- Number two, shall I?

T- Of course.

L- Alaska, nobody cares.

Alaska whimpered. “She- she died during our testing powers, I used my howl, it was too strong she tripped and fell into the rushing water, a current pulled her into a cave, where she drowned.”

J- I love how she's talking about this as if it just happened- It was TWO MONTHS AGO!

She sobbed. “Impossible, I saw her last week, stealing our plums.” Tigerflight said. Tigerflight was a half Tigerwings, half Eagle-eye*. Since she was born in Tigerwing’s home continent, she is a full indian tiger.

T- I was born in space, that doesn't make me a full ALIEN!

L- Ah, check it. My early racism.

But you can see eagle feathers in her brownish-black wings. “Hi!” Said Dawn, Daylight’s daughter. “So where is Alaska?” Asked Tigerflight. “I’m in here technician!” Alaska was in her mom’s old vehicle: The Leader Mobile.

J- She killed her sister. She's moving on too quickly.

“Ah, Alaska, playing with my vehicle again?” Foxgirl asked. “Nope! I am right behind you!” Alaska said. “Then who is she?” “Come out, Table-turn!” Called Alaska.

T- This is like a musical where they hint at a new character and THEN the character appears.

Then they saw a lion with purple galaxy things on her fur. “Hi! I am Mis-match’s daughter!” Table-turn called. “Well, I am saying this, because us kids should start our OWN secret team! Names!”

L- My mom's this guy so THAT'S why we should- EXPLAIN, PLEASE.

cried Table-turn cried. Foxgirl then looked at a cute little dinosaur called Hunter, he was Dinoboy and Dinogirl’s son. Dinogirl had died as soon as she laid Hunter’s egg.

J- I don't know about you, but they were meant to be.

“Um how about, DINOS!” cried Hunter in his baby Allosaurus voice. “NO!” giggled all the kids. “I think we should keep RTA. I want to keep what my mom started.” Alaska said boldly.  “OK! Sure! I was just.. Umm…. OH NEVER MIND!” Table-turn cried as she ran out of the room and to her mother, Mis-match. “Was it something I said?'' asked Alaska.

T- I kind of sort of a little bit like kinda sorta hate Alaska. But that's just me!

*Eagle-eye is an eagle who saved Tigerwings in RTA: The Fox's roar.  

J- Well would you look at that.

Chapter 98: RTA #4- Host Segment

(Jonah, portraying Alaska, sits in a chair as if in an interview)

Lexsi: Hello, everyone, this is the Character Study podcast. My name is Cliff Hanger, and we're here with someone who would love to get to know everyone. Please introduce yourself.

Jonah: H-h-hi... m-m-m-my n-n-n-name's

Lexsi: A little bit shy here, folks.

Jonah: A-a-a-a-a-a-a..

Lexsi: Your name is... What?

Jonah: A-a-a-a-

Lexsi: ALASKA! Your name is ALASKA!

Jonah: ALASKA!

Lexsi: Thank you... Now...

(Jonah starts crying. Lexsi, at this point, is frustrated)

Lexsi: Now what?

Jonah: Nothing, Cliff... It's just... Nothing's wrong... I guess...

Lexsi: What's wrong?

Jonah: My sister died because I drowned her two months ago and it's all my fault!

Lexsi: Should I call someone?

Jonah: (suddenly bold) NO YOU MAY NOT.

BEEP! BEEP!

ALL: STORY SIGN!

Chapter 99: RTA #4- Chapter 4-7

CHAPTER 4: 

THE NEW NAME OF

RTA,

RTA HQ, PRESENT.

L- Oh wow, the New Name of RTA is a time. Huh.

“Guys! I have an awesome idea! We should give ourselves a new name, then we can just…….. Relax as the kids have a turn.”

T- "We need a new name because we're kids!" "We need a new name so we can avoid helping others!" SHUT UP!

a calm Foxgirl said to the other adults. Alaska, Spinel, Sardonyx, Luna, Table-turn, Time, Hunter, Dawn, Sapphire, Garnet, and Tigerflight were all playing in the kid play area,

L- You see how I was so desperate to make the chapter longer?

which was in another room. The kids could not hear the adults. “Yeah…….that could possibly work.” Mis-match looked around Foxgirl., Tigewings, Dinoboy, Daylight, Past, and Lapis. “Yeah! Well, what are we waiting for?! Let’s do it!” said Mis-match happily. Foxgirl,  Mis-match, Dinoboy, Daylight, Past, and Lapis all put their claws and paws together and said in unison “One, two, three, GO RESCUE TEAM!”  

L- Notice how TIGERWINGS isn't agreeing with it? I made it VEEERY clear that TIGERWINGS wasn't agreeing with it because YEAH.

CHAPTER 5

A DAY LATER

JUNGLE OCEANA

“Mom, I have been thinking that I can be the technician.” Tigerfight said as she and her mom were eating their blueberry cake. “You are! Remember?” Tigerwings said. “I am not gonna help you, you form a story of your own!”

L- The other guy who was writing this with me wanted everyone to help each other and I didn't like that.

“I like that! No help! Goooooood!”

L- I LIKE THAT, HMMM? NO HELP, HMMM?

J- That was a huge side-eye for your co-author.

Tigerflight smiled. “Do you like being a superhero?” “Yes! With no help I will be awesome!”

ALL- WINK WINK.

Tigerflight shouted. A mysterious figure ran past their cabin with a grey cat with purple eyes in her arms. “Help!” Amethyst cried.

T- So wait, this isn't ALL your fault?

L- So I had a co-writer for all of these, okay? Sue me.

J- We're gonna have a talk about this.

CHAPTER 6

FIRST DAY OF RTA

RTA HQ 

Power training was the hardest for Alaska, her claws would not strengthen! “UGH! I JUST CAN’T DO IT! MOOOOOOOOOOM!”

T- That was Lex when she needed another bad writer.

L- Shut up.

Alaska shouted. “Yes leader of kids RTA?

L- Oh look! They changed the name eventually! Hahah... Hah...

Is there something I can help you with?”

L- Hah...

asked Foxgirl. “Well, this drill. I CAN’T DO IT AND IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!” Then, Tigerflight brung in a cardboard Superfiretiger, “Hit it! I am supposed to help you!”

J- Makes sense. Cardboard cutouts make everything better.

She said. Alaska slashed the cardboard. Not a single scratch. “UGH! SEE! WHAT DID I TELL YOU!” cried Alaska as she buried her face into her paws. When no one was looking, Foxgirl crept out of the room with silent paws. “Hey, with more practice, you’ll get better!” said Tigerflight, trying to assure Alaska. “Mom!” Alaska called. No answer. “MOM!” No answer. “GRRRRRRRR!”

T- For not wanting help, she sure loves it!

Alaska growled as she burst out her sharp claws and burst a light from her body. She grew and grew, then it went dark. “Umm Alaska?” worried Tigerflight. Where did she just go? “Ummmm, why am I the size of my mom?”

J- Puberty! God, doesn't Foxgirl give her the talk?

Alaska asked. “Because you can control your powers based on your emotions.” Smiled Foxgirl. Alaska then shrank back to normal size, “Hey! My claws grew!”

L- She got what she wanted... But at what cost?

Chapter 100: RTA #4- Chapter 7-8

CHAPTER 7:  

“Good job!” cried Tigerflight.

(Jonah sobs obnoxiously)

“Also, you have every power, just like me. So, you can turn certain powers on, and off! For example, if you wanted to use your mind reading, you turn that on and turn off all the other powers. That is how you can control your powers.”

L- This is convincing me that the Inside Out control panel is real.

said Foxgirl calmly. “Whoa! Now that’s what I call cool!” a happy Alaska said. “Now I will go back home and you can make your own story. Bye. OH and one more thing! Come on home when you think you are done! The others are back at  their homes, so every problem you have to deal with yourself. I will miss you Alaska. Please write. OK, now I must say goodbye. Your ‘team’ is saying goodbye to their parents as well.”

T- Okay, this is a realistic mom.

Foxgirl said as she ran away, tears filling her eyes. “Bye mommy….. Well, I guess it is my turn now…….” 

L- You wimp! We call her MOTHER!

CHAPTER 8:

A DAY LATER

JUNGLE OCEANA

“Wow! I love this place!” Spinel and Alaska smiled as they looked at the indian tiger features. “Try these plums!” Said Tigerflight. “Uhhhh. I’ll pass. What’s that green stuff?” Said Alaska. “Fresh green leaves.”

J- And this is when we find out that Jungle Oceana lives in poverty.

“Ummm, what about the coconut?” “This? This is an enchanted coconut. I will create what I am if you drink it. A tiger.” “With wings?” “No. You will have the same powers. But a tiger.”

L- And they just have that lying around? Jeez...

“Well. What about that moose meat?” “Sure! Hold on, we need gem shards on this. Sardonyx?” Tigerflight asked as Sardonyx sprinkled gem specks and shards onto the meat. “It tastes better this way.”

J- This is how fathers lure their kids into losing their loose teeth.

“Ok…. I’ll give it a try…” Alaska gulped down the moose. She felt kind of puffy… then she remembered: SHE WAS ALLERGIC TO GEMS!

T- HOW?!

“Okasi! Okasi!” Tigerflight shouted in the streets. Okasi in indian tiger words

L- Yeah, I was a teensy bit of a racist baby when writing these.

T- So Randy Feltface was right.

meant “Medic.” “Nikkaso! Nikkaso!” The other Indians shouted at a tiger with turquoise stripes. “Omai! Misako bloona! Okasi?” Nikkaso asked. “Sie! Sie!” Tigerflight shouted. What Nikkaso said was: “My! What is wrong? Medic?” Everything went black as Alaska passed out. The last thing she heard was Tigerflight saying, “Okasi, Misathc mosaiith meineal ockasla?”

T- They sure like the letter "m".

J- I gotta say, I'm getting frustrated at these words.

(That means, medic, will she be OK? In Jungle Oceana). Then, Alaska was out. And the only thing she could see was darkness.

T- Yes, that's what you see when you're "out".

Chapter 101: RTA #4- Chapter 9-10

CHAPTER 9:

THE DOCTOR,
PRESENT

Blink, blink blink went Alaska’s eyes as she awoke in the medic’s room. Alaska heard the nurse muttering to the doctor, “Milo manac nicakilla?”

J- ENOUGH WITH THE M WORDS!

in Jungle Oceana. What the nurse muttered was “What is she?” Tigerflight said, “Nicakilla miso Timbasak.” to the Doctor. Tigerflight had said, “She is a Timberwolf.” “Uuuuhh….” moaned Alaska. “ALASKA!” Tigerflight shouted. Alaska then covered her ears and mumbled, “Tigerflight, ow. That hurts. To loud…..”

L- Oh, you know, I forgot how to write "too" in 5th grade... Silly me.

“Oh, sorry Alaska. I didn’t know that your ears would be sensitive once you woke up. Sorry again.” said Tigerflight sheepishly. “Oh, no, no. It’s perfectly fine, Tigerflight. I mean, I did just wake up from passing out though so…….” said Alaska sounding a bit hoarse.

T- Passing out from an allergy attack doesn't give you SENSORY ISSUES!

“Thank you Alaska. Now, you need to get more rest, ok? I’m sorry. I forgot you were allergic to gems. I-I-I-I should have known better. This is all my fault.” sighed Tigerflight. “Tigerflight, it’s OK! It could have happened to anyone. It’s not your fault. I will be fine in a few hours after I rest some more and enchant my allergy to go away.

J- You could've done that in the FIRST PLACE!

I mean, I am the formal leader of RTA, right?!” said a tired Alaska.

L- If you keep up this act, it's gonna be former.

“Yeah, I suppose you’re right Alaska! I shouldn’t come down so hard on myself like that.” said Tigerflight quitely. “No………... Problem………..” said Alaska slowly as she fell back asleep, and entered darkness once again.   

CHAPTER 10:

THE DOCTOR,
PRESENT 

Alaska woke up to to Tigerflight shouting “Help! Help! HEEEEEEEEELP!” Alaska sat up suddenly. “Huh? Who needs help? With what?” Alaska asked worriedly. “Alaska, you’re awake! Hooray! But, we’ve got a bigger problem on our paws! Luna is having a vision, and she said that-well, lets just say that destruction is coming! Oh, and she passed out as soon as the vision was over!

J- Ah, that's how all Oracle stories go...

Spinel, Sardonyx, Table-turn, Time, Hunter, Dawn, Sapphire, and Garnet, are all running crazy!

L- Look at little me. Making sure everyone remembers that there's too many people in the story.

UGH! I wonder if this is what happens with your mom and her team?”  Tigerflight informed Alaska. “Then whatever problems the world throws at us, we can solve them.” Alaska said daringly as she stood up and the wind ruffled her fur.

T- You're in the doctor's office.

“Then let’s show the….. Ummm….. Destruction who’s boss!” said Tigerflight enthusiastically. Alaska grinned at her and they ran outside. “Oh no. This is waaaaay worse than I thought Tigerflight. It’s

J- My Seven Evil Ex's.

our evil aunts. Mine, and Sunset, my aunt’s daughter.” Alaska gulped, with a face of pure horror. “Oh no, that means-” said Tigerflight as she was cut off by a menacing voice. “Hello my niece. You must be Tigerflight.” said SuperFireTiger. “Uh oh. Alaska,  we might be in some HUGE trouble.” feared Tigerflight. 

L- Really, they're in fear? Didn't know that.

Chapter 102: RTA #4-END

CHAPTER 11: 

THE FACE OFF WITH
SUNSET AND
SUPERFIRETIGER

 Alaska whistled, and her whole team stopped what they were doing, and came right at her side.

J- GUYS, IT'S THE DANGER! RUN!

“HAHAHA! You think your little team of KIDS will be able to stop us?! HAH! Well Sunset, today is our day for FINALLY winning! HAHAHAHAHA!” cackled SuperFireTiger.. “Well you better think again! You are wrong. I am real angry VILLAINS!” growled Alaska. “SO?! What does that have to do with OH I WANT TO DEFEAT SUPERFIRETIGER AND SUNSET? Yeah, NOTHING, RIGHT?” yelled SuperFireTiger. Just then, an orb the color of the night sky came down from the heavens and descended on Alaska. It closed around her, and when it cleared, she was a Timberwolf with a black streak down her back, eyes red, with what appeared to be little bits of flames.

L- Ugh, just look up "mary sue", you'll find her there.

She opened her eyes and lifted her head slowly, then in a faster motion. “I AM GOING TO DESTROY YOU!” Alaska said in a disoriented voice. “UH OH! SUNSET! LOOK! THIS IS SOMETHING WE HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE! WHAT IS SHE!? I-I-I-I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY RIGHT NOW!” shouted a very surprised SuperFireTiger.  “HAH! Go running scared VILLAINS! For Alaska here has the same power as her mother, and it seems she has turned on ‘CONTROL MY POWERS WITH MY EMOTIONS!’

T- (a la Tigerflight) "we're not very organized..."

HAH! SO IN YOUR FACE SUNSET AND AUNTIE SUPERFIRETIGER!” shouted Tigerflight at the bad guys (or gals, as you might say). Slowly, as Alaska turned off her power, she clutched her head and she said, rather dizzy, “Oh….. Did we do it guys? Ooh I feel very dizzy…. But really, did we defeat the bad guys? OOOH I AM SOOOO DIZZY!” “OH YAH WE TOTALLY DEFEATED MY COUSIN AND MY AUNT!”

L- All of these events has led me to believe that Alaska is in a fever dream.

an excited Tigerflight said. “Oh, hooray….! I am so happy. I should probably use my powers to make me okay.” said Alaska slowly. Then there was a humming noise, and Alaska’s wounds and scars and aches disappeared.

J- Sorry, there were scars and aches? Did we miss a fight or something? She totally killed it out there.

“AHA! I did it! I am as perfect before I passed out! YES!” shouted Alaska, very excited indeed. ‘Now that SuperFireTiger and Sunset are defeated, what should we do now?” asked Tigerflight.

L- Snake! I guess... Huh.

J- Why is there a-

L- Later.
