Chapter 94: The Rainbow Orbs- Prologue-END

R- Oh, great, we're in here again.

M- It feels so closed-in here.

H- At least it's us boys, amiright?

M- YEAH!

L- YEAH!

H- Oh... You're here as well... hmmm...

Prologue

BOOM.

ALL- AHHHHHHHHH!

An explosion with smoke so thick you can see nothing but a light quivering through the fire.

Faint confused voices flooded the air like tiny parasites

As the smoke cleared, a flaming girl was standing there.

The fire traced her hair…

H- And nothing else. See, she just went to the salon...

“It’s a devil.” One of the soldiers whispered

The girl stood confused, unaware of where and who she was.

“What’s your name?” Asked another soldier

Through the red hot flames, the crowd could see her lips moving, trying to think of a sentence.

“A… A…” She started.

R- (a la flaming girl) "A... A... And you thought I was stupid? Jeepers..."

5 people flew down. 

“Rainbow Orbs!” Shouted one of the generals.

A girl looked almost like the flaming girl, except her face looked like a human’s and the rest was purple electricity.

As for the rest, the boy had only his neck and belly glowing with sunlight.

Same with another girl, but she had vines.

One girl had pink hair, and looked like a human except for her white feathery wings

And the last was another girl with sand flowing down her hair.

“She’s one of us.” She spoke.

L- Rainbow Orbs... Ugh, it was a good idea, I was just so bad at writing.

“Ashley.” The flaming girl finally put together a word

M- Get it? Ash? Ashley?

“Well, Ashley…” The sandy girl smiled, “Come with us, you’re our little sister.”

M- Nobody?

R- It was good, it's okay.

Chapter 1

81 years later

Ashley fiddled with her hair, and winced as an inch of her legs were formed.

Throughout the years, she had been formed, and her legs were the last things to be formed. They were still in flames.

H- Formed?

L- Like, look normal.

The big closed tunnel at the entrance of her room rumbled.

Out popped out her glowing brother, Cyrus.

“Good morning, my good sister!” He smiled.

“How’s Sky and Aquaster handling the formation?” Asked Ashley

Aquaster and Sky were her only younger sisters that formed during a tsunami in the 2000s.

“Sky screamed this morning at the sight of her whole head being formed.” Cyrus explained, letting a warm chuckle escape from his mouth.

L- (a la Cyrus) "She's ugly... She'll get used to it."

“Well, we should probably say good morning to everyone.”

H- (a la Ashley) "Since you're here."

Ashley yawned, getting out of her bed and she walked down the steps leading up to her bed.

As she passed the torches at the end of the stairs, she shot fire at a tube, and the tunnel opened.

Ashley dove into the tunnel, and she shot out into the main lobby.

R- Wait, I wanna go to this hotel.

There was the oldest of the family, Nikka, and she was sweeping up the sand left from the tips of her hair. 

“Hello.” Nikka said.

“Hi, sis.” Ashley replied. 

Neither of them knew what to say. Ashley was kind of brand new to the family,

M- She is 81 years old.

and she suspected that Nikka was being hard on herself. Ashley fiddled with her hair again, wincing at the heat.

“Your favorite sister is here!” Shouted an always perfect Ivy. Her vines circled the tunnel as she popped out.

“So you say.” Ashley mumbled before Ivy swiftly slapped her.

M- She seems like a wildfire! Huh?

H- I think the tiredness did something to you, Mike.

“IVY NATURE ORB!” Nikka shouted angrily, forming an immense cloud above her.

Cyrus quickly shined the sun on Nikka, and soon the older Orb calmed down.

Ashley’s eyes widened If she got more angry it would’ve been a hurricane!

L- Pepa from Encanto! She's orange and everything!

“Anyway, the farmers asked for me to grow their crops, as if they can’t do it themselves, and-” Ivy babbled on and on about Mother-knows-what and Ashley went into the tunnel and popped out into Aquaster’s room, which had a nice waterfall into this pool with Aquaster’s bed on the bottom, her closet on the side, and all was illuminated by a dim blue light. 

H- And she's... The blue one?

L- Yep!

Ashley then used her fire powers to create an air bubble around her,

H- Which is not how fire works, but okay.

and she dove into the water, swimming swiftly through the moonpool

L- WARRIOR CATS?

“Hello, Aquaster.” Ashley greeted her sister, who was examining her fully formed face in the mirror.

Aquaster was all just water except her face, which had blue hair.

“Ashley!” Smiled Aquaster, breaking her gaze from the mirror and onto her sibling.

R- Hey, see? Did you see that? That recent sentence was perfect!

H- Yeah... I think the more we read these things we see Lexsi's journey from crap to great!

L- These are all out of order.

“How are you?” Asked Ashley.

“Good, good…” Aquaster paused for a moment, and started again, “Me and Sky are new to the family, and I wonder how it’s like being new. I was only made 22 years ago.” 

M- That made no sense. This is new, kid.

“It takes a while to get used to your non-formed parts. My legs still hurt when they form, but it’s ok!” Ashley said.

“Oh! There’s this thing I want to show you!” Aquaster swam out of her bed, and up to the surface of the pool. 

R- (a la Ashley) "Woah, dude! A whole entire arcade?!"

Ashley followed, and let out a relieved sigh as she let go of the bubble

“I want to show you my closet.” Aquaster said

H- Five body pillows are gonna pop out.

Ashley smiled wider. The Orb’s closets were HUGE. And it’s contents fit to their liking.

Ashley, for example, kept her closet a secret because she didn’t want Nikka to worry.

What was in her closet?

A blacksmith station.

So, yes…

Ashley makes weapons.

L- A Russian spy.

Anyway,

Aquaster shunned her orb to her closet, and it opened, revealing a big spa inside.

“YOU HAVE YOUR OWN SPA?” Asked Ashley

“Yep! Sky has her own cloud trampoline park.” Aquaster explained, stepping into her closet.

M- Joel, can we go to SkyZone?

L- Please, Joel?

H- Please?

R- No.

Ashley smiled at her little sister, pointing out everything and being the great little Orb she is.

What more could she ask for?

L- A plot twist?

Chapter 2

That night

Ashley sat awake in her bed. The lava bath at the side of her bed was bubbling hot.

“It wouldn’t hurt to look.” Ashley said aloud. She took a deep breath and dove in

She opened her closed eyes. 

Wow!

Due to her lava powers, she could see perfectly.

Little rocks burnt up nearby, and Ashley just couldn’t get enough.

R- She seems to love seeing things burn up and decay.

The orange-red lava was burning with infinite possibilities.

Soon, Ashley felt her lungs weaken

No…. No not my air! Come on!

H- Succumb, Ashley...

Ashley quickly used her feet to push herself to the surface, but it was no use.

She let out all the air in her mouth and she was…

Fine?  

How am I fine?

Suddenly it hit her

M- Ugh...

My special power is to breathe in lava!

M- There is no punctuation. That's getting me kind of mad.

L- Me too. You should write a book.

She laughed as she watched the bubbles rise from her nostrils.

Ashley soon got bored and she got out of the lava.

Still, she was fascinated by what she could do.

She then heated herself up so she could dry, and she ran up the steps and into her bed. She was proud that she had found out her special power, and the rest of the night she couldn't sleep as she debated when, where, and how she was going to tell her family.

The next morning, Ashley woke up and dove into the tunnel.

She popped out and decided to tell Nikka first.

H- You know this could've been all smashed together to make a great paragraph, right?

L- I hate the separate sentences, too.

“I found out my special power.” Nikka shrieked and hugged her sister.

"YOU FOUND IT!!!" she jumped up and down, and reached for her hands.

H- (a la Ashley) "It was under my bed the whole time!"

Nikka’s non-formed hair flooded on Ashley’s body

It happened so fast

And suddenly

Ashley gasped

(Joel gasps)

And collapsed to the ground, burning it with her whole body. 

And

Nikka stood over

A purple Ashley

Who couldn't breathe.

L- Oh my god, would it kill little me to add some periods?!

Chapter 3

Sky's room

A breeze wafted over Ashley, who's flames burst across her chest, awaking her with new, fiery life. She gasped. 

She looked around, and saw Sky’s room.

Looked like it…

Clouds…

A rainbow…

Cloud bed…

Cloud-

"What-What-What happened?" she asked faintly, touching her head, wincing. She saw Sky who was fiddling with a cloud,

M- I assume her power was air.

L- gee, how'd you know? The clouds?

and Ashley realized that Sky was sculpting her from the wisp which she blew away and sighed. She stopped midway, though, when her eyes glanced up to look at Ashley, and find her awake. She ran over to Ashley.

"You're-You're ok!" her voice cracked, and rain fell from her eyes.

"What happened?" Ashley asked again.

"Oh, well…"

"Spit it out."

"We didn't know what happened, so I looked it up on my Cloud Laptop,

L- Apple, we all know it's you, stop disguising yourself.

and-and it said that sand stops a fire, and so I looked further. It said that sand will cut out the oxygen from the fuel… And I guessed that the fuel was your heart." Ashley still didn't understand.

M- (a la Sky) "Dude- FIRE... DIES... IF... TOUCH... SAND..."

"So…?"

"So Nikka-since she is not formed yet-she accidentally cut out your oxygen, causing you to faint. I thought this was the best room to put you in since nothing can harm you here. Don’t worry, Cupid is coming here soon with her healing potions.”

H- What do those potions do? Find her a blondie from Manhattan?

Sky explained carefully and cautiously, not wanting to freak Ashley out.

“I’m here!” Cupid dove out of the tunnel, and she sat Ashley down. The older Orb formed up a potion of healing (The only potion she could make)

L- "Fail potion school, they said... Nobody will care, they said..."

and dumped it on Ashley’s orb.

“I think I’m fine.” Ashley swatted away Cupid’s hand from doing any more, and Ashley walked out.

“Use your healing tube!” Cupid shouted

R- Just say IV.

Since the orbs in which they had drained power every time they used it, healing tubes were handy. She dove through the tunnel, and popped back into her fiery, hot, bubbling room.

H- Do you guys think they're amazing at professional high-diving?

I guess I must use it, Ashley thought annoyed, Or they might get mad. She walked to the back of her room and put her orb in the tube. There was a lava-proof blanket-bed that she lay down on, resting on it. Her eyes fluttered close as the healing tube began the process of healing the orb. 

L- She's... Asleep- GUYS, GET THE WHIPPED CREAM!
