Chapter 1

The Den

Present

“LUNI!” Snapped a gray she-wolf. 

“AHHH! WHO ARE Y- Oh, it’s you. Sorry Gray, I didn’t notice you for a second there.” Said Luni, Gray’s brother, a male gray wolf. 

C- Gray's a gray wolf. Now THERE'S organization.

“What happened? Mom is worried! You were howling! I was thinking the Stone Animals were here!” Gray hissed. “By the way, we have testing today. Make sure to keep it a secret from mom. She’ll flip either way. Now let’s go!” Gray darted out of the den with Luni following behind.

E- If only that were an option... To make testing results unknown.

“Luni and Gray, pups of Luna, are you ready?” Asked the healer of the pack, Misty. “Go step into the private waters, if it turns blue, you are a pack wolf. If it’s the same, you are a Stone Animal.”

T- Okay, looks like we're upping our gender reveal game!

Misty said, leading Gray and Luni to small dens with pools in it.

C- The people who complain about their saunas have never been to this wolf pack before.

J- When has anyone complained about a sauna?

C- Exactly.

Luni sank in, closing his eyes and letting the water sink into his fur. Then, he opened his eyes. The water was the same as before. Maybe I’m not doing it right? Thought Luni. He shifted and sat down.  Oh no oh no oh no…  He looked around and darted out of the den soaking wet.

J- Plot twist: It turns blue because they pee in it.

He ran and ran jumping off of dens and yellow sparks fled off of his fur

J- Bam. Pee.

and he started running faster and into the woods. I don’t belong here. Thought Luni. I’m a Stone Animal.  

T- (a la High School Musical) I hope you understand...

Chapter 2

Woods

2 Days Later

Luni punched on a running rabbit.

E- Now, see, I've heard of "pounced", but PUNCHED? Whole other level.

As he went back to his new den far away from the pack, he heard some talking. “We need to find him! My mom will be CRAZY if we don’t find him!” Said the first wolf. Luni closed his eyes and smelled the air. He saw Gray, Misty, and the alpha, Kek. 

T- Luni, your eyes are closed?

Luni, panicked, frantically started chomping down the rabbit and threw the bones out of the den

ALL- WOAH!

and crouched down in a dark corner. As the wolves came to view, they stopped. “Oh. We shouldn’t be here.” Misty said. “Yep. Luni won't be this brave.” Kek said. “He won’t kill a cluster of leopards! We are at the leopard den! But…” Gray sniffed the bones. “His scent is on it. He might be hunting here.” Gray said. Luni then started getting annoyed and the yellow specks started flicking off his fur. He then started speeding through the forest and hid under a rock.

E- Kids these days and their yellow specks.

“I smell him! This way!” Gray shouted. The pawsteps got closer, and Luni did his best to mimic leopard growls, but he just made the patrol get closer. 

T- Yeah- BECAUSE YOU'RE A WOLF.

“Well, I sure smell his scent here. We’d better look tomorrow and report this to the pack.” Said Misty.

“I’ll do it. They’ll believe me more.” Kek said. 

“Great. As long as we know Luni’s alive, I’m fine.” Gray said.

E- Leaving your brother behind when you're just about to find him? I don't think you have much hope, Gray.

As soon as Luni couldn’t see the patrol anymore, he darted back to his den. That was close. What if the other Stone Animals come? No, Luni. You worry about this for the past 2 nights, stop worrying. Luni thought. “Hello?” a voice asked.

T- (falsetto) Housekeeping!

Chapter 127: SON #1- Chapter 3-5

Chapter 3

Luni’s Den

Present

“Who’s there?” Luni growled.. It’s not Gray, for sure. It’s not mom, her voice is older than that. And it’s definitely not Misty or else I’d see her already… Luni thought. 

“Who are YOU, for one. And ME? I’m just coming back to see how my leopards are doing. And why is the leopard scent stale?”

J- Are you telling me that Luni killed LEOPARDS?!

E- It's not even their natural habitat!

Asked the voice. Luni noticed a tuft of white fur emerge from the side.

 Is that Albina? No… Albina is way too scared of this den. Luni thought. “I’m not telling you.” Luni sighed loudly.

(Tom sighs obnoxiously loud)

Then, along with the fur that was seen from the side of the entrance, he saw a stone on this stranger’s chest. It’s getting closer! Luni thought loudly. “Uh, you better watch out! Cuz I… have SUPER SPEED!” Luni shouted. But I don’t know how to control it.. But I gotta make her scared!  Thought Luni again.  

“Super speed?” Asked the voice. “YEP, AND… AND I’M NOT AFRAID TO USE IT!” Luni growled. But what does speed do? I can trip her… or stun her? No. I have never actually killed someone! AHHH CHOICES! 

T- You know what this reminds me of? Luna when she ponders about killing others for no reason.

E- You're right... Are we in RTA again?

J- Let's scan for racists.

Luni’s thoughts were so loud, that he just wanted to do something. “Come in and SHOW YOURSELF!” Luni howled. 

“Fine, fine. You don’t sound like the type to kill anyway.” Said the voice. Don’t say anything, you’ll just make it worse. Thought Luni. Then, the stranger emerged from the darkness and came out as a white she-wolf with blue eyes and a gemstone implanted on her chest. 

“ST-ST-ST-” Luni stammered.

C- (mockingly) ST-ST-ST... STARGAZING PANDAS!

“STONE ANIMAL!!!!!” Shouted Luni, dashing around with the yellow sparks flickering off his fur.

“How do you do that? Are you scared?” Asked the she-wolf. 

T- Stargazing pandas?

C- I panicked.

“No…” Luni fell to the ground in front of the white wolf. 

“Your aura, but.. You’re a PACK DOG! Unless…” The white wolf started smelling Luni all over. 

E- Kindergarten crushes. Gotta love 'em.

“WHAT? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? AREN’T YOU GONNA TURN ME INTO STONE? SOLID STONE?” Luni growled. 

“Your aura.

ALL- AURA?!

It’s…” The white wolf said. “Gemlight and Pack-ish. But it has to be EXACT.” The white wolf started tasting the air and smelling the air all over again. 

“First of all, who are you? And second of all,

J- (a la Luni) "Can you do that again?"

mind your own business.” Luni snapped, making the white wolf stop. 

“Well, I’m Bright. Nice to meet you!” Smiled the wolf.

“Bright. I’m Luni.” Luni said.

“Wait! To see if you’re one of us, we need to take you back to our place!” Bright said, halfway out the den when Luni stopped her.

“Wait!”

“What?”

“Stay here for the night.”

T- No, Luni, you're setting yourself up for a one night stand, come on.

“But we need to-”

“No questions, you need rest.” Luni said, flicking his tail. Bright sat down next to Luni, fiddling with her paws. 

“So you call us Stone Animals.” Bright said finally after a long pause.

J- (hesitantly) Raaacist?

“Yes, do you have a problem with that?” Luni asked.

“No, we just don’t call ourselves that.” Bright said, glaring into Luni’s eyes as if she was trying to read his mind. “We call ourselves Gemlights. It's prettier, right? And it doesn't make animals think we’re savages.” Bright explained. “I’d not think that Pack Dogs would call us that. You Pack Dogs are braver than we think.” 

“Pack Dogs?” Luni asked. “What in the world are Pack Dogs?”

“YOU, silly! YOU’RE a pack dog!”

ALL- (hesitant) Raaaacist?

Bright laughed.

“We prefer to be called WOLVES, thank you very much.” Luni snorted. 

“Ok, so I’M a Gemlight, YOU’RE a Pa- no, a WOLF. That’s how we’ll do things, right?” Bright asked.

“Better than before.” Luni said. 

E- This can't be RTA, guys, they solve their problems.

Chapter 4

Den

The next morning

“Ok Luni. Are you ready?” Bright asked. 

“Noooooo. I’m nooooooot. I’m huuuuungryyyyy.” Luni yawned.  

C- YOU'RE THE ONE WHO WANTED- never mind.

“Ok! I’ll get something!” Bright said. Then, she was gone in a flash. LITERALLY. She came back with yellow specks gliding off her fur.

J- Hah! She pissed herself too!

“Here, a rabbit.” She said,

“YUMMM! Wait, can’t YOU eat?” Luni asked.

“Naw, we Gemlights can go a MOON without food.” Bright said. Then, they set off to the Gemlight hideout. 

“LUNI!” Called Gray from a distance.

“RUN!” Luni whisper-shouted.

C- A valid response from a sibling bond.

“Wait, why?” Bright asked, trailing behind. 

“Long story. You have super speed, right?” Luni asked.

“Duh. How did you think I got your food that fast?” Bright rolled her eyes.

“Grab my scruff.” Luni said, slowing down so Bright could grab on.

“Why o ant me to do thish?” Bright muffled.

T AND C- MURS HE LIP VER!

“RUN WITH ME! I can’t control my speed so I need you to help!” Luni said. Then, Bright started charging up and the yellow specks turned into bits of lightning flinging off her. 

“LESH GOOO!” Bright muffled, speeding through the forest with Luni dragging along.

ALL- Over the river and through the woods, to grandmother's house we go!

“Hold on, I’ll do it!” Luni shouted, trying to charge up but only got the specks of yellow on him. “Good enough.” He mumbled. “Ok, Bright. Let go in 3… 2…” Luni counted. Then, as they were approaching a huge rock, Luni shouted: “1!!!” And Bright let go and both of them ran up the ramp at maximum speed. 

“JUMP!” Bright shouted. They both jumped onto some moss and kept going.

J- See, I get what they're trying to describe, but I just can't stand it.

Then, they ran into a soft breezy meadow. Luni’s fur started to shine in the warm sunlight. Luni ran as fast as he could through the grass, sighing happily through every step.

I am relaxed, I’m not sore… Luni thought. I am free!

E- That's a line from Wings of Fire, you plagiarist.

Chapter 5

Meadow

Present

“BRIGHT!” Luni called out to the Gemlight. “ISN’T THIS THE BEST FEELING?” 

“BEST?” Bright called back. “WAIT ‘TILL YOU SEE THE CAVED SPRINGS!” 

“WHEN ARE WE THERE?” Luni shouted.

“NOW!” Bright shouted. Luni and Bright both dived into this little pool. The water soaked through Luni’s fur

T- God, everything's soaking him, he should never step in water ever again.

as he was sinking down the watery tunnel. Then, he felt himself drop. He was in a cave. 

“Where are we?” Luni asked, looking up to the glittering ceilings of gemstones and crystals. 

“The home of the Gemlights. Isn’t it pretty?” Bright asked. “I bet this is not what your pack told you.” 

“No, they said you guys lived in hollowed stones.” Luni said. 

C- I mean, TECHNICALLY...

“Seriously? Wow!” Bright chuckled.

Then, they were in a clearing in the cave, surrounded by other Gemlights. “Come on!” Bright said, leading Luni up to a rock hanging off of one of the sides of the caves. “Stay hidden. I want to make a surprise.” Bright said.

“ATTENTION ALL GEMLIGHTS!” Bright announced. The cave turned silent. All eyes were on Bright. “I THINK MY MOTHER’S PROPHECY IS REAL!”

ALL- WOAH!

“Real?” Said a tiger from the clearing with the other animals.

E- We've got the world animal meeting right here!

“A Pack Dog is NEVER gonna be the best of us!”

“Ok, Gemlights. I found a Pack Dog who has the aura of a Gemlight. But, please call him a wolf,

C- Don't be racist!

and respect him. He is new here.” Bright said. 

“A wolf? Ok!``said the other Gemlights. 

E- Woah, it was THAT easy?

“I’ll see if my mom respects this. Come along, Luni!” Bright led Luni into the mini cave behind where Luni guessed was the leader’s den.

“Are you sure you don’t need any permission to go in there?” Luni asked. “It’s just… my alpha required permission to go into his den.” Luni sighed.

“WELL, we do need permission, but if you’re ME…” Bright said, running into the den. “YOU DON’T NEED IT!” Bright said. 

“Why?” Luni snapped.

“Because who needs permission when your mother’s the leader?”

J- Naturally, she gets privileges.

Chapter 128: SON #1- Chapter 6-9

Chapter 6

Leader’s Den

Present

“Uhhh.” Luni said, glancing at the leader, who looked just like Bright, but older and wiser. “Your elegance, I have been proud to step into this-”

“Luni!” Bright snapped.

C- (a la Bright, whispered) Speak in KOREAN!

“Sorry! It’s just- Kek said to just- you- AUUUGH FINE!” Luni shouted.

“You’re a Gemlight now-soon, just, you know what? Just play along.” Bright whispered. “Mother, Luni here is as powerful as Gemlight. Luni, show your speed.” Bright nudged Luni.

“Oh, um-” Luni said. He then dashed around the room, tripping over a twig and landing at the leader’s paws. “I’m sorry! I can’t control it.” Luni said, standing up.

“It is ok. My name is Celeste. Now, I see you have the power of a Gemlight.” The leader said. “But you’re a Pack Dog!”

“MOOOOOOM!” Bright whisper-shouted.

J- (a la Steven Universe) "I don't know if you've heard, but I've established peace across the galaxy-"

“Right-WOLF.” Celeste said. “Now to see if the Gemstars approve of this.” Celeste said, signaling Luni and Bright to go back onto the big ledge. All the Gemlights were chatting and clamoring below. “SILENCE!” Celeste demanded. All the Gemlights stopped and nodded, forming a clearing. 

“Luni, go down there.” Bright said, padding toward her mother’s side. Luni raced down there and stood in the clearing.

“GEMSTARS OF THE SKY, GEMROCKS OF THE CORE,

E- GEMSUNS OF THE SKY, GEMOONS OF THE NIGHT

J- GEMBEERS OF THE BAR, GEMLIGHTNINGBUGS OF HUMID SUMMER DAWNS

I BELLOW YOU

T- "I BELLOW you"?

TO LOOK AT THIS WOLF, WHO HAS THE COURAGE AND POWER OF A GEMLIGHT.” Celeste paused, whispering into Bright’s ear, and Bright trotted into the den. Celeste continued: “WITH FUR OF GRAY, WITH PRIDE OF LEADERS, WITH EYES OF BLUE, I GIVE YOU: LUNI!” Celeste said. Luni felt himself lift, his paws rising off of the ground. The sunlight from above the cave opened the ceiling of the rocky home

C- Woah, this cave has a SUNROOF!

and the sun’s rays melted through the opening, and shining on the clearing, Luni rose up to the height of the ledge where Celeste was sitting on.

T- "Peekaboo!"

“Luni! The Gemstars accept!” Bright smiled, walking out of the leader’s den with a leaf on her fur holding gem shards.

J- Everyone in these books have perfect balance.

“GEMSTARS, YOUR SIGN IS ACCEPTED!” Celeste cheered. Celeste then took the shards from the leaf that Bright had and tossed them into the clearing. The shards rose up to Luni and circled him. Then, the shards dove right for Luni’s chest,

E- OOOH!

T- AH!

J- Oh, god- that's gotta hurt.

swirling and whirling as he spun around, the gem shards building up to his chest, forming a mystical yellow gemstone on his chest, like Bright and Celeste. Luni floated back down to the floor, the cave ceiling closing back up again.

Chapter 7

The Clearing

Present

“How do you feel? Are you good? Are you-” Said a fox with a purple gemstone on her belly.

“I’m fine.” Luni interrupted. I’m not fine, but why bother? He thought, limping toward the ledge again. 

E- That's right, Luni, take it like a man!

“DUDE.” Bright said. “YOUR GEM PLACEMENT LOOKS JUST LIKE OURS! AND THE COLOR TOO!”

J- (a la surf boy) "DUDE THAT'S SO RADICAL DUDE!"

“Huh. I guess the Gemsta or whatever accepted.” Luni said, glancing at his gem. “Wait. Do I get to test my POWERS?”

“Of course! Defend, come!” Bright called out to the tiger, who had her gem placed on her neck, that was green.

“So,” Defend said on the way to the clearing in the forest. “You have super speed?”

J- What kind of a name is Defend?!

“Oh! Yeah, I guess. What about you?” Luni asked.

“I was gifted with the power of shapeshifting.” Defend said.

“Really? Can you turn into me?” Asked Luni.

“Ok, I will.” Defend sighed. “LUNI!” She shouted. She then formed into Luni. “So?” She asked.

“That’s how I sound like? I sound so weird.” Luni said.

“Yeah, no kidding.” Bright chuckled.

“Normal.” Defend said,

C- Wait, she has to say who she's turning into in order to use her powers?

T- Who the hell is "Normal", then?

and she changed back into her normal self. Soon, they were at a large clearing in the forest.

“Wow!” Luni said, dashing into the clearing, that it was surrounded by trees and enclosed in the autumn leaves. “You train here?” 

“Darn right we do.” Defend said, padding in after Bright and Luni.

“I remember my first session here, do you, Defend?” Asked Bright.

“Oh do I EVER!” Defend laughed. “First ever professional carver!”

“What happened at Bright’s first session?” Luni asked.

“See the trees surrounding us?” Defend asked.

“Yeah…”

“See those Bright-sized dents on the sides of the trees?”

“Yeah…”

“She ran so fast, she made those dents!” Defend chuckled.

J- I'm sorry, but those are the strongest trees I've seen in a while.

“Anyway, Luni. Time to train you. I’m one of your trainers because I have speed, too. Defend is also training you because she is our highest experienced fighter.” Bright explained. 

“Okay!” Luni shouted, excited. “What do I do first?”

“FIRST, you focus on SPEED. Try to run in circles quickly. And please, DON’T do what Bright did.” Defend explained.

“Why? What would happen if I did that?”

“You don’t want to know.”

E- Oh, so Bright's allowed to do it but LUNI can't?!

Chapter 8

The Training Ground

Present

Luni ran as fast as he could, emitting bright yellow lightning bolts off of his fur. “WATCH OUT, LUNI!” Defend called out. Luni ran SMACK into one of the trees, and it toppled over. 

C- (a la Luni) "Look! Look I did what Bright did!"

“Luni! Now we’re in trouble!” Bright growls. Soon, howls and roars are heard in the distance. Defend perched up.

“Wolves and cats. They’ve found us.” Defend said. 

“ATTACK!” Shouted a familiar wolf in the far distance.

Kek!

E- (unenthused) Oh no. A fight.

C- (unenthused) Jeepers creepers.

Chapter 9

The Clearing

Present

“We need to warn the others!” Bright panicked as she ran off with a charged lightning bolt trailing behind.

“Let’s go! RUN!” Defend shouted as she darted after Bright.

“WAIT FOR ME!” Luni shouted, using his super speed to follow Defend and Bright. As Luni got back to the cave, he ran to Celeste’s den.

“Mother, we aren’t safe! We need to fight!” Bright said urgently. “Luni set down the forcefield!”

“Forcefield?” Luni asked.

“Luni! Thank Gemstars you’re here. See, the trees make the forest look like your average woods.

J- How did you know that he knocked down a tree?

But, one tree down and FOOOM!

E- ONE tree? Are you sure you weren't spying?

Enemies can see our cave! The Cats and Wolves are coming this way!” Bright said. Celeste let out a sighand she padded onto the ledge. 

“ALL GEMLIGHTS.” She bellowed. “THE CATS AND WOLVES HAVE FOUND US  AND ARE COMING THIS WAY.” 

“What? WAIT. That means the forcefield is down!” Said the fox with the gem on her belly.

“Yes, Glowing. The forcefield is down.” Celeste said.

C- WHAT ARE THESE NAMES?!

“I’LL FIGHT!” Said a young bird Gemlight from the crowd with his gem in his eye.

“I’ll assign roles, and YES, Jay, you can fight.” Celeste said. “Alright, here’s the deal. Defend, Bright, and Jay. Your job is to not only FIGHT, but lead the enemies AWAY from the cave.

E- I mean, that's reasonable.

(murmurs of agreement)

Glowing, Forest Stream, Serenity, and Wisdom, your job is to be healers.

T- Woah, shoved onto the job.

And Traveler, Noble, and Limestone… you guys PROTECT the cave with your life. All the rest stay put. BUT, the lead guards that are left here are for backup. The young ones have a special job: To go out and get any wounded Gemlights to the healers.

E- (confused) Reasonable?

Oh, and Soldier, Long Hill, and Marsh… you go be the first line of fighters before the enemy's fight the cave defenders.” Celeste ordered as numerous animals went to their positions. Luni noticed that Defend was sharing tongues

C- (as if not having a tounge) Want a tounge?

J- (as if not having a tounge) Sure, man, sure.

with Traveler, a gray panther with his gem on his neck, Forest Stream, a she-cat that looked like a cheetah with a gem on her neck, and Serenity, a leopard that had her gem on her neck.

E- Now what in the world are these genetics?!

“Mom, go heal those Gemlights with your love, ok?” Defend said to Serenity. “You too, sis.” Defend looked over to Forest Stream. “And dad…”  Defend smiled at Traveler. “Defend this cave like the Gemcores are rising.” 

“Defend…” Serenity smiled. “Trail ‘em off like there’s NO TOMORROW.” 

“YOU GOT IT!” Defend shouted, running after Bright and Jay. 

“Celeste…” Luni looked up to the tall leader. “What about me?”

“Luni, you don’t have as much experience as your fellow Gemlights… plus,  I’m positive that the pack would notice you.” Celeste nudged Luni away. 

“But-” Luni said.

“No, Luni.” Celeste interrupted. Most of the animals rushed out of the cave as ordered to fight for their kind. Luni snuck out of the den and looked outside from the puddle.

J- Oh, good, I was afraid he wasn't the main character for a moment.

Defend was making noise to make the enemies come closer to her as Bright was following with a howl. Jay started to attack some of the opponents with his strong talons gripping tight onto fur. Luni realised that it was a familiar wolf that Jay was fighting. Gray! Luni thought. And so, the gray Gemlight was dashing out of the cave.

T- Nothing says "bonding" like fighting a rabid gem-bird together.

1... 2... 3... 4... 5.. 6...

Chapter 129: SON #1- Host Segment

(Emily, Tom, and Crow are all setting up some stuff. Jonah enters.)

Jonah: What's all this?

Crow: We got inspired by the beautiful work that is Stones of Nature and decided to perform our own ritual ceremony to implant a gem!

Jonah: Oh.

Emily: Yes! Here, get in the middle of our kumbaya circle.

(Jonah does as told)

Jonah: Now what?

Tom: Now I will say words.

Jonah: Sorry, what about the whole gem thing?

Emily: SHUT UP. Let Tom live her dream.

(Tom takes out a sheet of paper)

Tom: "Gemsuns and GEMOONS and gemlightningbugs and gemhurricanes and gemlights and gemdarks and gemyesses and gemnoses and-"

Crow: WE GET IT.

Tom: "I bellow you to look at this... thing!"

Jonah: What?

Tom: "Stab him to show your approval of him."

Jonah: WHAT?

Chapter 10

Outside the Cave

Present

“STOP!” Luni pounced on Jay to get him off.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Jay squawked. “It’s an enemy I’m trying to fight here!”

“YOU’RE HURTING MY SISTER!” Luni barked.

“L-Luni?” Quivered Gray. “Y-you’re a Stone Animal!”

E- Stop being racist, Gray!

“I am Gray.

T- I thought you were Luni.

Even though we are supposed to be enemies, I still treat you the way I treated you in the pack.” Luni said. “Also, you might wanna hold on.”

“Why?” 

“I’m taking you to the healers.” Luni said, as soon as Gray grabbed Luni’s scruff, he dashed into the puddle and took her to the healer den.

“Luni? What are you doing here with that Pack Dog?” Glowing asked.

“This is my sister, Gray. Please heal her. Jay attacked her.” Luni said.

“Of course.” Glowing placed her paws on Gray’s chest, emitting pink and blue light from her paws, slowly healing the gray wolf.

“This feels… tingly…” Gray said sleepily.

“Done.” Glowing finished. Gray’s fur had grown back. Her wounds were healed. She was back.

E- But she was always here.

“Luni, I have something to tell you.” Gray stood up. “My test came positive.

J- Ew, six feet apart, please!

I’m a Stone Animal. I have super speed.”

“GREAT!” Luni smiled. “That means you’re ACTUALLY my sister!” 

T- Oh?

“LUNI!” Celeste trotted up to Luni.

“This wolf’s aura is Gemlight… we need to do her ceremony. NOW. We can’t wait for another one.”

“Gray, sit in the clearing.” Luni ran up the ledge.

“GEMSTARS OF THE SKY, GEMROCKS OF THE CORE,

T- Gemspinsies gemwheelies gemcars gemtrucks-

J- (snapping) WE GET IT! THEY NAME EVERYTHING GEM!

I BELLOW YOU TO LOOK AT THIS WOLF.” Cleste said urgently. Luni ran into the leader’s den and got some gem shards.

C- He literally just became a Gemlight five seconds ago, how is he acting like he's lived here his whole life.

“WITH FUR OF GRAY, PRIDE OF LEADERS, I GIVE YOU: GRAY!” Gray started lifting up as the cave ceiling opened, the shards piercing into Gray’s chest. 

“The Gemstars accept!” Luni cheered.

“GEMSTARS, YOUR SIGN IS ACCEPTED!” Celeste bellowed. Gray drifted back down to the ground, the gemstone on her chest shining with pride. Luni dashed down to Gray and licked her happily.

E- Oh... Ew...

“Is mom a Gemlight?” Luni asked.

“She was tested many years ago… and no, she’s not positive.”

“WHAT?” Luni shouted. “But.. families are always the same power, gem placement, and gem!

C- And how do you know that?

That means…”

“Mom isn’t our mom.” Gray said. 

“But wait…” Luni thought hard as he said that. “Celeste and Bright’s gem placement, power, and gem are the same as ours. They are also the same type of animal…”

“The prophecy is real!” Celeste interrupted. “That means you two are my lost children!”

J- Oh, wonderful.

“What? You mean… WE are the leader’s kids?” Gray asked in pure shock.

“Wait.. what’s your fake mother’s name?” Celeste asked.

“Luna…” Luni said. Celeste flashed out with no question.

E- "Flash"? That is not a good way to respond to the situation, Celeste...

“We need to get out there and fight! We are GEMLIGHTS now!” Luni said, darting out of the cave along with Gray, both of them trailing lightning behind. 

J- (a la Doc Brown) "When this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious shit."

Chapter 11

The Battlefield

Present

Luni ran into the battlefield and went straight for the leader of the cat clan, Pure. Luni’s teeth sank into the black leader’s fur rapidly,

C- (makes rapid biting sounds)

and Pure unseathened her claws and scraped Luni on the chest, as if trying to get his gem off. Luni felt teeth biting down on his back, and he wisped around to find that one of the strongest cats in the cat clan, Gift, was standing before him. 

J- (a la Gift) "It's a living!"

“TRAITOR!” Snarled the white cat as she pounced on Luni. Luni used his hind legs to push Gift off. Gift then clawed Luni’s gemstone on his chest, but nothing happened.

“Impossible.” Gift hissed. She just tried more.

Of course! Luni thought. They told us kids that the gems on the fur come off! She’s trying to kill me that way! Hah! 

“Okay, let’s get real.”

T- (scoffs) PLEASE.

Gift said, letting go of Luni. “I’m supposed to kill you the ol’ BATTLE way, yeah?” 

E- (in a british accent) "I just turned Bri-ish for no reason, ey?"

“Bring it on!” Luni barked, biting on Gift’s hind leg. Then, Gift froze and seemed stunned. Gift then fell to the forest floor, back bleeding like never before.

J- "And when he saw what he had done, he gave his mother forty-one."

A figure appeared behind Gift. 

“Gray!” Luni said happily. 

“I… killed…. The most dangerous animal in the forest…” Gray shivered, looking down at the dead cat.

“Traitor…” Said a familiar voice coming from behind. “I needed to kill that Pack Dog. I don’t care if she’s just killed a Clan Cat.”

Luni turned around to see Jay glaring at him, talons at the ready. 

E- (groaning) Jay, can you not be racist for one second...

“Jay, she’s a Gemlight now.” Luni said.

“I DON’T CARE! Only a Pack Dog like you would risk our victory for your SISTER.”

T- Awh, he's never felt true love in his life!

Jay spat. “I’d rather just do it the hard way, right?” Jay smirked.

“No, Jay, we are on your side.” Gray said beside Luni.

“I won’t hesitate!”

T- BITCH.

Jay started flying all around, clawing the two wolves with his talons.

“DON’T TOUCH MY BROTHER.” Gray bit Jay’s wing and he fluttered down to the ground.

“LUNI. HOW CONVENIENT.” Kek growled from behind.

“Kek, you finally come.” Luni said. Jay started tugging on Luni’s fur for Luni to bleed.

E- Yes, that's usually why you fight! For them to bleed!

Kek pounced on Luni, as if trying to help Jay. Gray shoved Kek off and went on fighting him. 

“TRAITOR! YOU’RE A TRAITOR!”

(ALL groan and ad lib "oh my god Jay", "can we not", etc.)

Jay screamed, blood flowing down his feathers like a mudslide. “WAIT ‘TILL CELESTE HEARS ABOUT THIS! YOU’LL BE IN TROUBLE! BIG TIME!”

T- He's yelling and internally bleeding? What is he, a demigod?

Jay screamed so loudly with rage, bleeding faster the more he screamed. “YOU’LL BE KILLED BY DEFEND RIGHT THERE IN THE CLEARING! RIGHT THERE!”

“Jay, I knew that I should’ve killed you when you were a hatchling.” Bright said.

C- (whining) But he seemed so nice!

“That sign… we should’ve made Defend kill you.” Bright padded closer to Luni and Gray. “By the way, mom told me about us. It’s great to finally have siblings.” Bright smiled.

J- (as if fighting) "I KNOW YOU'RE KILLING PEOPLE, BUT I FOUND YOUR LOST SIBLINGS!"

“BRIGHT! DON’T YOU KNOW WHAT THIS PECKISH TRAITOR DID?!” Jay shouted, pointing his weak talon at Luni. “DEFEND SHOULD’VE KILLED HIM! YOU SHOULD’VE KILLED HIM WHEN YOU SAW HIM! IF ONLY YOU’D KNEW WHAT HE WOULD’VE DONE!” Jay’s eyes started getting darker as he spoke. One of the clouds in the sky came down to the Earth, forming a male wolf that looked like Celeste, but was a grown boy.

C- But mother, I'm a man now!

Gems and everything. The cloudy figure cleared up, and the wolf was floating and glowing, looking like a ghost. 

“YOU’D NEVER LEARN! KILL HIM! I’D RATHER DO IT MYSELF!” Jay shouted in a distorted voice, eyes pitch black.

E- Then... Do it?

One of the rocks  from the cave rose up and formed a bird looking just like Jay, but was grown and female. The two formed animals from the sky and the rocks were side by side with Jay. 

“YOU FOOLISH WOLVES! YOU-” 

“ENOUGH!” The bird and wolf said. 

“Jay, my son, you might be one of us when you die, but this is UNACCEPTABLE!” The bird shouted.   

T- Awww, he's meeting with his mommy... 

“Your mother’s right!” The wolf agreed. “This will NOT be tolerated.”

“THEY ARE TRAITORS! ALL OF THEM! MOTHER, TELL THEM THAT THEY ARE STONE-HEARTED TRAITORS!”

“What is the meaning of this?” Celeste demanded. Celeste looked at the wolf, and her face turned into pure shock. “Apollo?”

“Celeste!” The spirit wolf turned around. Apollo started whispering to Celeste. Celeste nodded.

“Ok, do it.” She said,

J- Tune in next episode to find out what we have to do!

“ALL PACK DOGS, CLAN CATS, AND GEMLIGHTS! GO HOME! THIS FIGHTING HAS TO STOP!” Apollo and the bird said in unison. All Pack Dogs, Clan Cats, and Gemlights mysteriously obeyed and trotted home single file.

(ALL ad lib "okay", "yeah, I'm hungry", "seems reasonable", etc.)

“ALL DEAD SPIRITS KILLED TODAY WILL BE SENT IN HEAVEN OR BELOW!” Soon, all the dead bodies began to disappear. Luni trotted back to the cave with the others. Soon, the bird and Apollo followed them back and sat on the ledge with Celeste, Bright, Gray, and Luni and Jay was in the clearing, bleeding black blood. 

T- HE IS STILL BLEEDING?!?!?!?!

“BANISH THEM! YOU MUST KNOW BETTER!” Jay shouted.

“I BELLOW ALL GEMSTARS AND GEMROCKS TO LOOK AT THIS GEMLIGHT.” Said Celeste, Apollo, and the bird.

T- AND THE GEMBIRDS AND GEMBALDEAGLES AND GEMSERVOS AND GEMHUMANS AND GEM-

J- SERVO, I WILL THROW YOU AGAINST THE WALL!

“WHEN HE WAS A HATCHLING, HE WAS SENT HERE WITH A GEMROCK SIGN! THE LEADER’S HUSBAND, APOLLO, AND THIS GEMLIGHT’S MOTHER, RAVEN, HAVE A REQUEST.” Celeste said.

“I CALL UPON THE GEMSTARS, GEMCORES, AND GEMLIGHTS TO FACE YOUR GEM TOWARD THIS GEMLIGHT.” Raven said, facing her eye gem toward her son, the cave ceiling opening for the sun to shine in. Jay started rising, dripping blood from his scarred body.

C- HOW IS HE STILL BLEEDING?!

All the Gemlights faced their gems toward Jay, and the Gemlights started glowing. Luni faced his gem toward Jay, and he started glowing too.

“I DEMAND A BANISHING.” Celeste shouted, her voice becoming loud and bold.

“I, RAVEN, MOTHER OF JAY, AND A GEMROCK OF THE CORE, BANISH MY SON TO THE MAKING AGAIN!” Raven called, floating.

“AND I, APOLLO, FATHER OF BRIGHT, LUNI, AND GRAY, MATE OF CELESTE, AND A GEMSTAR OF THE SKY,

E- Hey, man, I'm only looking for a name, please.

BANISH JAY TO THE MAKING AGAIN!” Apollo called, floating with Raven.

“AND I, CELESTE, MOTHER OF BRIGHT, LUNI, AND GRAY, MATE OF APOLLO, LEADER OF THE GEMLIGHTS OF THE EARTH, BANISH JAY TO THE MAKING AGAIN!” Celeste called.

C- We get it! You're fertile!

“WAIT ‘TILL I’M REBORN! YOU’LL BE SORRY!” Jay shouted.

“US THREE HAVE SPOKEN!” Raven, Celeste, and Apollo shouted. Rocks from the cave formed a circle around Jay. “JAY, SON OF RAVEN, WE THREE BANISH YOU TO THE MAKING AGAIN!”

(They all scream out of insanity)

The three animals shouted, and Jay started rising up to the opening, and out. Right for the sun.

J- Now THAT'S a sacrifice.

Chapter 12

The Cave

Present

“So, we’ve done it.” Celeste turned to Apollo. “When will I see you again?”

“My love, I do not know when I will see you again, but I know that the Gemstars will welcome you when your body becomes lifeless and your spirit rises. I’ll miss you.” Apollo said.

E- (a la Apollo) "In other words, please die soon."

“Daddy. I can’t wait to see you again.” Bright said, attempting to hug Apollo but went through. “And I can’t wait to hug you again!” Bright laughed.

“So, you must be my dad.” Gray said, trotting up to Apollo. “I can’t believe this is the first time I meet you. I guess I’ll see you whenever I go up.”

“And, dad.” Luni said. “Will I see you in my dreams?”

C- An odd request, but okay.

“Of course, Luni.” Apollo said. “I’ll see you all sometime next week? In your dreams? I’ll be there.”

T- Wait, dreaming and talking with loved ones is just... A normal thing?

“Bye, my love.” Celeste said. Apollo faded away, the clouds that created him forming back into normal clouds and poofing.

“I guess I’d better get going.” Raven said. “It’s almost my time to go back to The Making again. In a few moons, I suppose?” Raven said.

“When am I due to die? And how will I die?” Celeste asked.

“Celeste, I can’t tell you. I’ll only give you a clue. Light will rise to kill the blue, rocks of gray will come to you. Bye-bye now, forever.” Raven then poofed into little rocks. 

E- Thanks for the help, Riddler.

“Well, Luni. I know this week’s been a little crazy, but you’ll get used to Gemlight stuff!” Bright smiled. “You too, Gray. I’ve always wanted a sister!”

“Me too!” Gray cheered. “You know, we can overpower Luni…” 

“Yeah, girl power!” Bright said.

“Wait! Where will we sleep!” Luni asked. Celeste then led the three wolves into a room with nice gemstones implanted randomly on the walls.

“Look. Check this out.” Celeste said, pushing down on a wooden board and the gemstones lit up.

“WOAH!” Gray gasped.

“COOL!” Bright smiled.

“THIS. IS. AMAZING.” Luni shouted, shocked.

“It was a gift from the Gemstars when the Gemlights were made. This room was made for, quote unquote, ‘the two lost ones’.” Celeste explained, pushing on the board again and the lights turned off.

“Look! A loft!” Bright pointed out. There was a loft made of stone that held a little moss nest that had white gems on it. Then under it, a nest with gray gems, and then in one of the corners in a mini cave, a nest with blue gems.

“The blue is Luni’s, the gray is Gray’s, and the white is Bright’s.” Celeste said.  

 Then, the three wolves sat down, and went to sleep.

J- Ugh, that was the most boring chapter ever.

The Cave

“AUUUUGH!” Luni woke up howling. He glanced around the room that was pitch black.

“Luni? Dear, what are you doing this late?” Celeste asked, padding into the room.

E- This is too much of a humanized world of animals.

“Mom… something is happening to me…” Luni huddled up next to his mom.

J- WOAH! You JUST met her!

“Dear, what is happening?”

“This voice… it’s the second time already…”

“When has this voice come to you?”

“In my sleep… the first one is the day I got tested and found out I was a Gemlight. The second one is tonight…”

“Dear, you’ll wake up the others, I’ll tell you a story.” Celeste sat down while Luni got comfy in his nest.

“Want to hear the story about the MAKING of Gemlights?”

T- Oh my god, gaslighting at its finest.

“Yes!”

“Once upon a time, there was this wolf and cat. They were in their pack and clan, but they had powers. The wolf, Jasmine, had the power of light and sky. The cat, Nyx,  had the power of earth and darkness. Both of them had the power to see the spirits of the dead.

T- Oh, so there's some stable ground there.

One day, Nyx and Jasmine were on a walk, talking about their day. Then, they somehow came into a rugged cave with gemstones. They both found a big gemstone that looked to their liking. Nyx found a big black one, and Jasmine found a big white one. They both touched it and the cave went dark.

E- Which one, the black or white? Specifics, please.

They were greeted by a spirit wolf named Luna, and a cat named Hobbes. They then were sent to different dimensions and were trapped there, Nyx and Jasmine’s friendship were separated. Jasmine and Nyx’s last moment together was placing scattered glowing gemstones and a wooden plate reading I can’t wait to meet again… . The end.” Celeste finished.

J- Sorry, but when would they have the time to do that?

“What happened?” Luni asked.

E- She literally just explained this.

“No animal in the forest knows. Not even your father.”

C- (a la Luni) But, uh, if we consider the information that you've given me, you do know what happened, and you're just in denial.

Celeste sighed, standing up.

“Do you at least know what their voices sound like?”

“Nyx has this dark, smooth, voice. Jasmine has this echoing voice, both of them together and they sound like a ghostly figure.” Celeste explained.

“Th-that’s the voice I heard!” Luni said.

“It IS?” Asked Celeste.

“Yes, it is!” Luni stood up and trotted out of the room.

“Luni, it’s midnight!”

“I don’t care! Someone’s calling out to me, and I need to find out who!”

E- (a la Moana) See the light where it shines on the sea... It calls me...

“LUNI!” Celeste shouted. “Limestone! Get him!” Celeste shouted. The poor fox woke up, her green gemstone on her cheek glowing in the moonlight.

Luni felt paws on his head. 

“SLEEP!” An echoing voice erupted from behind.

Luni just closed his eyes, and all he could see was darkness.

T- "That's enough of you for today."

Chapter 15

That night

Luni! 

ALL- OH MY GOD, WHAT?

Why must you always interrupt my dreams?

Thus you must not be blind to see.

T- Yeah, DUH, blind people can't see.

What?

Open your eyes….

Luni opened his eyes. A galaxy-colored sky surrounded him.

“Hello, Luni.” Said a whitish-blue she-wolf out of nowhere.

“AAAAAAAHHHH!” Luni panicked.

“Relax. I’m a Gemlight like you. Well, a Gemstar.” Said the spirit-wolf.

“Who are you?”

“Jasmine.”

“JASMINE?! LIKE, ORIGINAL GEMLIGHT JASMINE?!” 

J- He's geeking out.

“Yes, little Gemlight.” Jasmine laughed.

“What do you need me for….woah…” Luni trailed off, noticing he was a spirit. His hind legs were gone, leaving a big tail on his lower body. He was glowing.

“Welcome, Luni, to the Gemstars.” Jasmine smiled.

C- HE'S FINALLY DEAD?!

“Yes, but.. What do you need me for?”

“You are here because we need you.” Jasmine said.

“Why?”

“She’ll tell you why.” Said a gray spirit wolf from behind Jasmine, who had a gemstone implanted on his cheek…

“DAD!” Luni smiled widely.

“Hello my son.” Apollo smiled back.

“Tonight, your mother told you the story of me and Nyx, right?” Asked Jasmine.

“Yes…” Luni said hesitantly.

“Every year, I look at the Silver Prophecy. The purpose? To get me and Nyx back together again. We never got to spend our last breath together. We want to be alive again. We want to be in The Making again…” Jasmine sighed heavily, toying with her majestic glowing tail.

E- WHAT IS THE MAKING?

“Why are you telling me this?” Luni asked.

“I’m being honest…” (SEE WHAT I DID THERE?)

T- (uninterested) Yes. You made a Hamilton reference. Want a cookie?

Jasmine said.

“Every year I go into the heir's mind…”

“Those are the dreams I’ve been having..”

“Yes, and I want them to… how do I say this…” Jasmine sighed sadly, a purple-pink tear forming in her eye.

“You can do it Your Heavenliness.” Apollo said.

“S-” Jasmine stuttered.

“S-sacrifice…”

“I have to commit suicide?”

C- Luni, not everything is about you.

“No, no… nothing like that…” Jasmine said, “You have to be sacrificed.”

“Exactly, so I have to commit suicide.”

“No… there’s a ritual and-”

“I can’t believe you’re telling me to commit suicide-”

“NO, LUNI! YOU DON’T COMMIT SUICIDE.” Apollo shouted.

J- Are you kidding me? Listen to Luni, he's READY!

“Ok! Ok…” Luni said.

“Just wake up, your mother will know.”

“No! Dad, what’s this ritual thing?”

“I died because last generation I was chosen. I sacrificed myself

E- Like father, like son.

in a ritual and…. It didn’t work. Nyx and Jasmine are still trapped.” Apollo said.

“Your Heavenliness, it’s The Making.”

C- What's the making>

Said a dog spirit from across the room, who had her gem implanted on her nose.

“Ah! Yes, The Making.

J- What's the making?

Luni, meet Divine. Divine, meet Luni. He is currently dreaming right now, but his soul is with us for this time.” Jasmine said, introducing the two.

“What’s your power?” Luni asked.

“Knowledge.” Divine smiled.

“How’d you die?” Luni asked again.

“Oh, a sickness.” Divine said.

“What’s in the- oh no.” Luni stood shocked at The Making,

ALL- WHAT'S THE MAKING?

a factory where new souls are made.

ALL- THANK YOU!

Jay.

Jay was in The Making.

“I forgot you banished Jay.” Luni said.

Jay fluttered his eyes open in one of the cages.

His talons were gone, leaving the tail showing.

T- You're missing the point- is he still bleeding?!

“YOU…” Jay growled at Luni. “YOU DID THIS TO ME!”

“Divine, turn the machine on.” Jasmine said.

Divine nodded and pulled a lever, causing Jay to be dumped into a conveyer belt.

“What shall this new life be made of?” Divine asked.

“Well, what animal?” Jasmine asked.

E- A party animal.

“A wolf!” Luni suggested.

“Good! A wolf!” Divine pressed a button, and Jay turned into a brown wolf.

T- (a la Jay) AHHHHHHHHH?

“Divine… we’ve talked about this…” Jasmine sighed.

“OH! RIGHT! Sorry, Your Heavenliness…” Divine let out a forced smile and pressed a button that made Jay turn into a pup.

J- You're telling me she's let some souls go as a FULLY GROWN ADULT?

“Make him white!” Luni said.

“Ok…?” Said Divine hesitantly, making Jay white.

T- Poor Jay, watching his identity change before his eyes.

“He needs a new name…” Luni said.

“It’s up to the parents.” Said Apollo.

“Alright! What is his personality?” Divine asked.

“Funny, energetic, and loyal!” Luni said.

T- (a la Jay) NO I'M NOT!

“That reminds me of someone…” Apollo said.

“Who’s the parent? This new soul is ready..” Jasmine asked.

“Ok! Divine, come.” Luni said.

Luni whispered a name to Divine and Divine nodded with a smile.

J- Wait a second, reproduction doesn't exist? They just wake up with a baby?

“She’ll be so happy.” Divine said.

“Of course she would.” Luni smiled.

“You’ll expect him to be born in 7 years.”

“I can’t wait to see him.” Luni sighed happily.

“LUNI! YOU’RE WAKING UP!” Apollo shouted.

“I know.” Luni smiled.

Then, Luni was awake.

Present

Luni knew what he needed to do.

He licked all his family members in their slumber.

C AND T- EWW!

He went on the ledge.

E- Oh?

And he breathed in the sweet scent of the rugged cave.

“Are you ready?” Asked an echoing voice.

The cave ceiling opened, revealing the moonlight.

The floor which the moon shone on started forming a fire circle.

C- OH?

“Ready?” Jasmine asked.

“Hold on.” Luni said. “I want to bless this cave.”

T- OH?

“Ok.”

Luni smiled and tears flooded his eyes. “Goodbye, world. Goodbye the sweet scents of the dirt, goodbye new life, goodbye…”

J- Yeah, speaking of a new life- YOU JUST GOT HERE!

Then, Luni jumped into the fire circle.

He felt his fur start forming as he rose.

“LUNI! NO!” Shouted a now awake Gray.

“NO! DON’T DO THIS!” Bright shouted.

His eyes fluttered shut.

Luni was dead.

Her eyes will meet this life’s end…

Chapter 17

Cave

Present

“LUNI!” Gray shouted as Luni’s body plopped onto the floor.

“No… no…. NO!” Bright shouted in tears. 

E- Sentient teardrops. Hmm.

“Girls? It’s early and- LUNI!!!” Celeste ran down the ledge.

Luni, now a spirit, looked at his tail, he was the same in the dream.

Soon, the funeral for Luni was held.

“Tonight…” Celeste started, “Luni sacrificed himself and now roams the skies with the Gemlights.”

E- Ah! I thought it was GemSTARS.

“I would like to say something.” Defend said, “We all do.”

“Go ahead.”

“First,” Bright started,

T- Woah, didn't even wanna hear what Defend had to say.

“I can’t believe my only brother sacrificed himself… but he did it for good. He did it for my family.”

J- He did it for a creepy ghost wolf who wants to become best friends with Satan again!

“He was funny, smart, and brave…” Defend said.

J- You don't know that!

Numerous Gemlights said wonderful things about Luni, who was silently watching as a spirit at his mother’s side.

“Luni…” Jasmine said, “It’s time.”

“Right.” Luni smiled.

The Gates

Present

“Do it, Luni.” Jasmine said.

Luni used all his might, and…

“NYX!” Jasmine sobbed happily.

“JASMINE!” Nyx sobbed with Jasmine, both hugging each other.

“Who’s in charge of the underworld?” Luni asked.

“Oh, I let Raven not go into The Making. She’s the leader.” Nyx said.

“And heaven?” Luni asked.

“You.” Jasmine said.

“You’re kidding.” Luni said.

“No. You have done so much. I could never repay you enough.” Jasmine said.

E- Again, he has been a Gemlight... FOR TWO DAYS.

“To The Making, Your Heavenliness?” Divine asked.

“We shall.” Jasmine said, tugging Nyx by the tail and entering the conveyor belt.

“Any requests?” Divine asked

“Me and her always wanted to fly, so eagle.” Nyx said.

Divine successfully morphed them into chicks.

C- Oh, wow, they're taking comissions?

“I DID IT!” Divine cheered.

“And, we want to be sisters. Gemlights.” Jasmine said.

“And…?”

“We want to remember heaven.”

“Done. Parents?”

“You know I’ve always liked that eagle Feather.” Jasmine said.

“You’re kidding! I like Feather too!” Nyx said.

T- Sorry, they SCOPE OUT who they want as their parents?

“Feather it is.” Divine said, “Goodbye, Your Heavenliness, Your Coreness.”

“Please,” Nyx said, “Just Nyx and Jasmine.”

“Nyx and Jasmine,” Divine smiled, “Good luck at having another shot at life.”

Then, Jasmine and Nyx were sent to be born.

E- In an Amazon package and everything.

“So, it’s like that,” Luni said, “I’m the leader of the Gemstars.”

“So you are.” Apollo said, “Welcome home son.”

“Divine,” Luni said, “Is it too late to change the new soul of Jay?”

“No, Your Heavenliness,” Divine said.

“Good, just, can you make his fur a TAD gray? Just want to make him look cool, you know.” Luni asked.

C- I'm getting the feeling that Luni's a bit self absorbed.

“Yes, Your Heavenliness.”

“Just Luni.”

“Yes, Luni.”

Chapter 19

Cave

Present

“IT’S COMING!” Shouted Glowing.

“BREATHE, BRIGHT!” Shouted Bright’s mate, Aiden.

ALL- WHAT?

“I AM!” Bright shouted.

“OH, BRIGHT, HE’S BEAUTIFUL!” Aiden smiled.

“Can I see him?” Bright asked, out of breath.

“Yes, here he is.” Aiden said.

The little pup had a yellow chest gem, and he had white fur with a tad of gray on it.

T- ISN'T BRIGHT, LIKE, 10 YEARS OLD?

“He… he reminds me of someone…” Gray said.

“What’ll you name it?” Asked Glowing.

“Luni,” Bright said, “Just like his uncle.”

C- Beautiful. There's another.

Outside the den, the two eagle twins, Snow and Rock, were smiling and looking at each other. “I told you that Luni chose Bright.” Snow said.

“Fine…” Rock sighed.

E- Huh. They were just born.

In the den, Luni was teary-eyed as his Nephew looked up and all around, and then at Luni.

Can he see me?

Luni Jr. smiled and yipped at his uncle.

“Just a little gift from me, Bright.” Luni said, even though Bright couldn’t hear him.

T- (a la Bright) "You impregnated me with your egotistical decisions, yes."

He returned to heaven and went to Divine and Apollo.

“Your grandson is named after his uncle.” Luni said.

“Hah!” Apollo chuckled.

“You were right, Luni,” Divine smiled, “That made her happy.”

Chapter 20

Pack

That night

Luna sighed, “No.”

“Excuse me?”

“No.”

“What do you mean no?!”

“No, I won’t kidnap her.”

“But-she’s powerful!”

“She has a FAMILY, her BROTHER just died, and she has CHILDREN. And you’re trying to convince me that ‘She’s powerful’.”

J- I'll take "Who the hell are we talking about" for 100, please.

“You kidnapped the two Stone Animal pups and erased their minds with that milk! You raised them!”

“NO.”

“You must NOT disrespect your alpha this way!”

“I WILL!”

“That’s it, your dying wish is my command.” Kek said, and slashed Luna until she was dead.

“If you won’t kidnap Bright,” Kek said, “Then I will.”
