A few days have passed since Trigon's defeat. The Titans are back in Jump City and the JL members are back in their respective cities.

Dick: Alright, guys. Dig in!

Dick brought in pizza for the Titans to feast on as a celebration for their victory.

Kori: I think this is well deserved!

Garfield: Best. Day. EVER!

Jamie: Why don't we do this every day?

Rachel: It's not every day we win. 

Damian was sitting silently, enjoying his slice of pizza. Sam couldn't be happier with how things had turned out here. But there was one thing still on his mind.

Cyborg: We should watch that new movie, too!

Sam: Hey guys... um... I have some news to share.

He got up and walked to the end of the table to share what he had to say. Rachel already knew what this was about.

Sam: Um... I can't thank you guys enough for how you've treated me. I couldn't be prouder of how I turned out because of you. But...

Everyone felt something was on his mind. It was troubling him.

Sam: With this device, I now have the power to return to my world. Home...

Some Titans were shaken at the statement, while others were understanding about it.

Sam: I don't want to leave you guys... but I can't sleep without knowing the state of my home... So I'm asking you guys if it's okay for me to leave the Titans and go home.

Dick: Sam. Of course it's okay. Your world may need you now more than ever. And I understand that.

Kori: I do too.

Jamie: Sure. I'll miss you, though.

Almost everyone nodded in understanding, except for Rachel.

Dick: When do you plan to use it?

Sam: Today... If that's okay.

Dick: Absolutely. But first, a picture so you'll never forget.

Dick got out a camera and took a picture of him with all the other Titans as a paper copy. After a little bit, the time had come. It was time for Demi to go home. They were out on the walkway in front of the Tower, waiting for him to come out.

Demi: Okay... you can do this...

He stepped out the front doors to see everyone waiting for him, starting with Dick.

Dick: Sam... For what it's worth. You've been one hell of a Titan!

He gave him a bro hug before beginning to cry.

Kori: Sam. I know you'll do your best on your own.

She joined in on the hug. After a moment, she pulled Dick away and held him as he cried a little bit more. Jamie, Garfield, and Damian came up to him.

Demi: I'll miss you guys.

Jamie: You are an awesome partner.

Garfield: I'll be waiting for a rematch, Sam.

Damian: Take care, Sam.

He gave them a big hug. It was a long one since they mean so much to him. After he said his farewells to the other Titans, he started walking to Rachel ahead of him, until Superman swooped in to see him.

Superman: Sam!

Demi: Hey, Supe's

Superman: I just wanted to say thank you for your help. And good luck to you.

He gave him a firm handshake.

Demi: You too...

He walked past him towards Rachel.

Demi: Rae... I'm sorry.

Rachel: I understand every reason for your choice. And... I could never be happier for you...

She looked like she was about to cry.

Rachel: But... to be honest...

She ran in and hugged him tightly.

Rachel: I don't want you to go... I want to live my life with you... I don't know what to do if you leave!

She started crying in his arms. It was unsurprisingly emotional.

Demi: I'll come back when I can. I promise. But... Don't lose sight of who you are because I'm not there, okay?

She hugs him tighter before kissing him. It felt so nice for Demi. A kiss that could last for years.

Demi: I love you.

Rachel: I love you too...

He kissed her on the forehead before walking past her. He walked up to a good spot where he could look back on everyone and the Titan Tower. Everyone was either smiling or emotional... or both.

Demi: Thank you all! I'll never forget!

He turned back and activated the device. It opened up a portal back to his world. He looked back one last time before walking through. He saw the smile and tears on Rachel's face. All he could do was smile back.

Demi: ¡Adiós, amigos!

He turned back to the portal and ran straight through it, smirking at his accomplishment and ready to be back home.
