“The last hit,” those were the words shouted by Lara. Upon hearing them, the two fighters knew they were allowed only one more strike against each other. Trent tried to land a left hook on Kevin, but missed completely. Seeing the opportunity, Kevin grabbed Trent, pulled him in, and drove his knee straight into his face, crushing both his nose and mouth.

It was obvious that Trent’s nasal bone had been completely shattered, and a few of his molars could even be seen scattered on the floor. Kevin had won the fight, and the chips he received were enough to keep him in the casino for a few more hours.

As soon as Trent collapsed, two individuals dressed in protective suits lifted him and dragged him into the adjacent room.
