On Check XVI: Karma awaits

An immaterial demon called Erisabeth specialized in spreading hate. One day, she realised that it's hard to turn the whole world against itself. But what if she set those who bring peace at odds?
Erisabeth picked Team Sonic as her target. She wrote an invitation to them, claiming to be their big fan. They fell for her trap. The demon took advantage of every weakness – Sonic’s confidence, Tails’s agreeableness and Knuckles’s naivety. She influenced their minds so each of them found a reason to be mad at the rest. They started fighting angrily against each other.
However, in the past, they obtained an artefact called Spongarma. It collected energy based on wielder’s deeds. When the situation seemes to be hopeless, the Spongarma activated.
The Ostoyas suddenly felt a strange feeling. They were worried for the safety of the former Emerald Guardian and his friends, and started praying.

Out of the blue, Shadow pictured the faces of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles.
- Whatever you've gotten yourselves into, don't fuck this up.

Wristine Chowklet somehow felt that her brother got into unusual trouble. She started praying for the positive outcome.
Eventually, everyone in Emerald Forest was praying for the team's safety.

An otter from a small isle near The White Island woke from a dream in which Team Sonic died. He and the rest of islanders started praying for their safe return.

Suddenly, Angstrem Prower felt terribly uneasy. He began to pray for the safety of his son and friends.
The others spread the word and soon, all of Chilly Gardens was praying.

Unexpectedly, Selkadoom felt exceptionally thankful to Sonic, Tails and Knuckles for letting him free. He also began praying.

Verpa the chinchilla sensed a neural net being created. Without a hesitation, he amplified the signal and telepathically contacted all the characters he could reach.
Everybody who had been helped by the team, thought about them. That quelled the frenzy.
Erisabeth escaped, stealing the Spongarma. She wanted to take the good luck with her. However, the artifact could also collect negative energy. Suddenly, it reminded the demon of every person she had harmed. Erisabeth saw their faces, one by one. The power of guilt overhelmed her. She felt a great fear and was never seen again.
