Mini awoke in a familiar dark room...she was in the facility again; The Wall. "Aren't you an interesting case?" a voice called out, "Survived the airship crash that wiped out the entire Toppat clan, now you're building it back up. I can't have that," a man said in the dark. She couldn't make him out all that much, but she remembered he was missing some teeth from the odd lisp that he had, most likely an incident with Henry, considering she knew the two had met before. The man snapped his fingers, "Welcome to your new home. Take her away." The bag was put over her head as she was moved to the transfer cell. Mini sat, waiting, eyes staring at the floor as the bags tugged at her eyelids. Before she could doze off, a familiar face entered, unconscious as she was tossed to the ground like a bag of potatoes. Anger flashed into Mini's mind as she looked at her former friend, military pants and a black tank top laid on her body, along with a dark dusty blue jacket wrapped around her waist. A traitor is what Mini thought she was. The person who tossed her in spoke, "Guessing from that face you know 'er...?" Mini looked didn't look up, but she recognized the voice, "I'm talking to ya, princess," Mini froze, looking at the disguised 'guard,' who put a finger to her lips, taking her leave momentarily. Riley was deviating from what she used to do. Riley wasn't supposed to be here yet...was something wrong with the timeline? Eventually, Harriet woke up, seeing Mini. The woman smiled, happy to see her friend. Her smile quickly faded when she saw Mini's state, "What happened to you...?" she whispered. Mini didn't respond, just glared. Harriet looked on with confusion, not understanding why Mini was being so cold, "I-I thought...?" Harriet lost her voice mid sentence, confrontation being why, "You're a traitor..." Mini said, "I-I've been living with m-m-my...d..ad...he's...a-a-ali..." Harriet quickly lost her whisper again, not likely to speak again, "Yeah, I know he is," she said coldly, before the guard who took Riley's place to guard their cell spoke up, "Quiet in there." Harriet looked at the ground, before looking at the vent. Mini surely wasn't going to help her...she'd need to find a new way...however, the vent was still an option for her. She selected it, before slowly, and quietly, standing to her feet. She soon looked at the wall behind her, before smirking. She backed up, ran tiptoed to the wall, and jumped off it, clinging onto the vent with her teeth. It swung open easily, and soon she flipped herself inside the vent. She looked at Mini, who didn't even look up. She missed the person her friend was...but she had to get going. She chose to go right after busting herself free from her cuffs, and found herself in a familiar room, the same one when she first deviated from the military to the clan...she shook it out of her head, finding the phone Mini had hotwired all those years ago and attempted to call her best friend, who picked up the phone quickly, "Hello...?" Harriet tapped on the receiver, unable to speak, "Hari? That you?"  the blonde heard another tap, "Oh, man! Where are you? We've been looking for you for...you got what?" Coraline attempted to understand what Harriet was trying to say, but she was too quiet, "Harriet, you're too quiet...did something happen? Are you ok?" Coraline said, "...kid...napped...complex..." Harriet managed to get out, "You were kidnapped?" Coraline said, panic rising in her chest, but remaining calm on the outside, "Hang on, let me get Henry, alright? Hang tight." Harriet stood in silence, before hearing a tap on the receiver. She tapped back, then began tapping on the receiver of the phone in Morse code, hoping her father would understand her silence. She soon heard another tap on the phone, before it was handed back to Coraline, "Hari, I don't know what you two talked about, but we're on our way, I think? Henry's dragging me off to the helicopter, so I'm assuming we're on our way. Hang tight!" she said, "You want me to stay on the phone with you?" Harriet thought for a moment, before sha, mkhgking her head, "...no...not safe..." she muttered out, "Alright then, we'll see you soon, then." As soon as the call ended, Harriet peaked out the door, seeing a cafeteria of people. Harriet soon saw Coraline's helicopter come to view, and she was given choices. Guns blazing, distraction, Coraline's plan, or smoke bomb...Harriet stared at 'Coraline's plan', remembering the ending where she thought Coraline had died. Harriet had brought Coraline back to the military, and suffered for it...Harriet sighed, clicking the option, "Wait, really?" Coraline said, slightly surprised, "Alright then, here I come!" Soon, Coraline turned the helicopter into the building crashing it. Through the rubble, Harriet looked out, seeing Henry helping Coraline pull herself out from under one of the doors from the crashed helicopter, "Woo! What a way to wake up in the morning, am I right?" Coraline said, stretching, "Henry said there should be a way out on the roof top, so I'm guessing we're heading there?" Harriet nodded, before looking at Henry, who also gave her a nod.

Mini sat in the cell, head down. She wanted nothing to do with Harriet...she didn't even attempt to help her out of the cell. Mini just felt so mad in general. Soon, she heard a voice speak up, "Alright, time to g-" She then heard the man thud on the ground, "Let's go, Mins," Riley said, "Sven's worried as hell 'bout you..." she said, "I'm sure he is..." Mini stated, before Riley lent a hand to Mini, "Gimme them cuffs." Mini raised her hands, allowing Riley to pick her free, "Man, they really don't wantcha using your hands here, huh?" Mini shrugged. Riley helped Mini off the ground, allowing the Toppat leader dust herself off, "Welp, don't have more time to waist 'ere. Let's get moving, princess," Riley said. She was still feeling the odd feeling of daja vu. Like she's gone through all this before but...in different circumstances. Weirdest part, she noticed she could tell how a person was like, even if she'd never met them. She new Sven was a paranoid man long before she met him, for example. Mini though...Mini was the only one she couldn't understand. She thought Mini would be this happy and cheerful person when she saw pictures of the woman, but...she was so far broken, whatever was left of that loving woman was far gone...loving...? Why was that the word that came to mind? It doesn't matter, she had to complete her mission...she had to...right...? As they made their way up, Mini stayed quiet the whole time, "You good? You ain't this quiet with me usually..." Mini sighed, "Ran into a childhood friend...We're not on good terms..." she explained, "Oh yeah...?" Riley called out, handing Riley a gun, "She's a traitor...whole reason I'm in this..." Mini sighed, "No...I'm not gonna blame her for everything..." she quietly said to herself, so tired of being so angry all the time, "...I'm thinking you're grievin'..." she said, "...Yeah?" Mini asked, "You seem angry all the time...I was like that too for a while...it get's better, though..." Mini nodded, "Sure hope so...rooftop?" she asked, looking up at Riley, "Yeah...how'd you know that's where we're goin'...?" Mini shrugged, "Good guess..." Riley nodded, "Well...another member is out there with a heli. We'll have to find a way to jump over. Think you can do that?" Riley asked, for some reason feeling the need to make sure she'd be alright, "I can jump. I keep fit, no good as the Toppat leader if I'm not in shape," Riley nodded, "I meant mentally, but sure. Let's move." As they got to the top gunfire and chaos rang through the air as convicts and guards fought and rioted. Riley pulled Mini towards a hole in a fence, "We gotta go!" she called out. Mini saw Harriet jumping into a truck with a woman in military uniform, Henry, and a group of convicts. Rage filled her mind and body, clenching her fist. She began moving towards them, staring at Henry who met her eyes. He didn't seem to recognize her. She watched Henry's face twist from confused, to remembrance, to 'oh shit!' He seemed to realize that she knew what he did. Riley stopped Mini, "Look, I dunno what beef you have with them military people, but we need to leave it, Mini. We can hunt them down later. It's not worth it..." Mini sighed, before nodding. She froze as she remembered the drop off the cliff, "Mins, what's wrong with ya?! We gotta go!" Riley was starting to panic, hanging out of the fence as a helicopter hovered nearby. Mini shook her head and grabbed Riley's hand, flinging the both of them to the helicopter. She grabbed onto the ledge of the door, Riley dangling by Mini's hand before being pulled up, "What happened back there, Mins...?" Riley asked once they were safe as their ride flew away, "...I don't like heights...never did..." this confused Riley, "You grew up in an airship though...?" Mini shrugged, "I wasn't scared then." That was somewhat true. From her time in the air, she did eventually loose her fear of heights in previous timelines...after the airship crash though...Mini felt her chest tighten as she felt the walls closing in on her, remembering where she was. The helicopter bed was small, small enough to freak her out. Her breath started to become labored. Riley didn't notice at first, but soon felt a hand placed on hers, before her had got squeezed, fairly tightly too, not enough to hurt, but still a strong hold. She looked at Mini, eyes widened, hand on her chest gripping tightly, and knuckles turning white. For once, since knowing Mini, Riley saw true fear on this woman's face. Tears softly rolled down Mini's face as her breathing quickened, a panic attack on the tip of her tongue, before Riley's voice cut through, "Mini...? Hey, hey, you're alright," She said, trying to calm her. She didn't know what was happening with her, but she had a feeling, for some reason, on how to help. She quickly spun to get in front of Mini, crouching in front of the short woman, gently grabbing her hands and talking in a calm, quiet voice, "Mini, focus on me," she said, and Mini's eyes darted to lock onto her, recognizing the words from before, "Calm down, breath...in...out..." Mini did as she was told, memories of being locked in the door during the airship crash, unable to be freed, unable to be saved, "Mini, it's alright...it's the space, right...? It's too cramped...?" Riley asked. Mini gave a small quick nod, "We'll get out of here soon, focus on me, alright...?" Mini nodded, staring at Riley, "In...out..." Mini felt the panic in her chest begin to lower as the memories slowed and faded away, "There we go...we'll land soon, I promise...so relax, ok?" Mini nodded. She wasn't fully calmed down, but she was as calm as she could possibly be...the helicopter soon landed as Mini began wiping her tears. Riley hopped out, offering a hand to Mini, helping her down, "You good now...?" she asked. Mini nodded softly, "Thank you...so...so much..." she said. Riley sighed, "Of course...I don't quite understand you, but...we're friends, at least I think we are. I don't wanna leave ya like that."

Riley sat in the caferteria, drinking tea and sketching in her sketchbook. Nervousness filled her stomach. She was running out of time, and she didn't want to capture Mini. Soon, her friend Carmen sat with her, "Heeeyyy, Renalds!" She said, cheerfully, "Hey Carmen," Riley said, her panic seeping through her voice, "Something wrong, cariño?" Riley sighed, "Nah, just..." She sighed, "I had this job I needed to do when I first got here...I...I honestly don't want to finish it, to be honest but...it might cost me my life...sorry, just...nervous is all," Carmen laughed a little, "I knew I was right about you," she said, making Riley looked over confused, "What...?" Carmen laughed, "You're with Colins, aren't you?" Riley felt her heart thump in her throat, "W-Well- uh- I mean- well, no- uh-" Carmen stopped her, "Hush, hush, I'm not going to tell anyone. Besides, you told me yourself you don't want to finish what they started." Riley nodded, "...H-How did you know?" she asked, "Well, if you read through the deviation files like you were supposed to in training, you'd see me there," Riley coughed, "Ok, look, that shit was borin' as fuck!" Carmen laughed, "Don't worry, I didn't read them either..." the two were quiet for a moment, before speaking, "How'd you get out...?" Carmen shrugged, "Ran off after shooting my commanding officer. Ended up joining the clan afterwards. Gave more protection than the military would've..." Riley nodded, "...I'm guessing you and your team leader are here for the boss?" Riley sighed, "Wish we weren't...Mins's sweet but hurt woman...I don't think I can...y'know...break her more by betraying her like that...plus, we both know damn well what the facility will do with 'er..." Carmen shrugged, "Why not just tell her?" Riley looked over, "Huh?" Carmen smiled, "She's a 10.6, right? She'd remember, even if both of you die. Tell her. That's how you get out safely." Riley shook her head, "I dunno, Carm..." Carmen shrugged, "You said it yourself, Riley. She's a kind woman. You'd be surprised how much she'd love to help you." Soon, Mini walked in, coming to set up the coffee pot, "Hey..." she said, bags under her eyes starting to clear. She'd been sleeping a lot more recently, maybe a little too much now, "Oh, Ms. Copperbottom! Riley has something she'd like to tell you!" Riley started coughing, "C-Carmen!" Mini turned, "Yeah?" Riley stammered for a second, before sighing, "I...uh...was wondering if you wouldn't mind meeting up in the lounge tomorrow? I wanna talk to you about something...i-in private." Mini nodded, "Yeah, sure, of course..." she then left, "I'm going to sleep..." Riley nodded, "Alright...night." Riley glared at Carmen as she stood, "Good luck. I'm sure you'll be fine..." Riley sighed. This is her last effort now. There's no turning back, she can't go back now...she just had to hope Mini would for her.

Nervousness followed the quick haste of Riley's steps, constantly checking behind her to make sure no one was following her. She made her way to the lounge, waiting for Mini, who hadn't arrived yet, "C'mon, Miranda, where are ya...?" Her stomach dropped as she felt cold steel on the back of her head, "I know what you're doing, Renalds..." Mars said, "Why don't we have a nice 'chat' in your room, yeah?" They added, "Walk backwards, slowly..." Riley nodded softly, raising her hands. She was dead, she was so very dead. Even if she fought back, she'd be instantly shot by them... "I don't think that's happening..." Riley had never been so happy to hear that terrifying woman's voice, "Drop the gun, Mars..." Mars did as they were told, raising their hands. Riley dropped her arms, sighing with relief as she looked back, seeing Mini holding Mars at gunpoint, "You're lucky I'm too tired to kill you right now...I did it last time...I'm kinda curious what would happen if I don't..." Mini said, "And don't bother telling the C.C.C...you and I both know what'll happen if they find out you not only failed to capture your target, but that you lost to your deviating subordinate...twice." Mars eyes widened as Mini said all of this. They realized just how right she was. If they were told to kill Riley if she failed, why would they be spared? "I'm going to give you two options...one, run away with your life and never return...or stay and be locked up in a holding cell. One might be your best option, considering that the entire clan will know you tried to capture and kill their leader...make your choice, Mars..." Mars quickly sprinted off around the corner, desperately looking for an exit as Mini spoke into a radio, "Keep an eye on Mars and make sure they leave...leave them alive...they are no longer welcomed in the clan." Riley caught her breath sighing, "So...I'm guessing we got shot?" Mini shook her head, "Not this timeline...I already knew the whole time..." Riley choked, "Wait, what?!" Mini nodded, "You already told me the second timeline we met in..." Riley sighed, "Honestly...explains the awful daja vu I get from you, to be honest..." Mini looked confused, "Daja vu...?" now Riley seemed confused, "Yeah...? Ain't that normal with 10.6's...?" Mini nodded, "Well yeah, but I'm not 10.6. I'm 10.7," Mini stated, before watching Riley choke, "10 point what?!" she called out, "Go get some rest," Mini said, "I'll see you at lunch," she stated, "Sh-She's..." Riley sighed, "Whatever...I'm safe now at least..." she then walked off, before being met up with a familiar face, "You look tired," It was Carmen, "Yeah...almost just died..." Carmen tilted her head, "Is that why Ms. Copperbottom said Mars isn't welcome anymore?" Riley nodded, "Yeah..." Carmen sighed, "Was wondering what that was about..." Carmen then winked at Riley, "Good work Renalds, good work." Riley nodded, heading off to her room to collect herself.

Riley sat in the cafeteria, Mini across from her. They sat quietly for a moment, before Riley spoke, "Why didn't you say anything earlier...?" Mini didn't even look up from her computer, "Hm?" she asked, "You knew the whole time...why didn't you say nothin'?" Mini paused what she was doing, looking at Riley, "I was afraid you wouldn't be my friend if I said something...that you wouldn't trust me," Riley nodded, "As that why y'were so keen on being near me when I first joined the clan...?" Mini hesitated, then nodded, "I like you, you're my friend...I wanted you here with me," she explained. Riley blushed softly, before quickly putting a hand over her face, "W-Well..." she said through her hand, "I'm glad you kept me around, then." Riley didn't know what else to say. This was the second time Mini had flustered her like this, only this time it wasn't on purpose to throw her off. This time she was doing it on accident, "I'm gonna go get some fresh air real quick. I'll be right back," she said, "Oh, ok," Mini nodded, going back to her laptop. Riley quickly sped walk outside, her face feeling hot. As soon as the door shut behind her, she leaned against the wall, sighing, "...Damn it, Miranda..." she mumbled to herself, sighing, memories that shouldn't exist washing through her memory. "Let's move, princess, your daddy's waiting for ya," it was...Riley? "Riley?" Riley shook her head, trying to remove the discrepancy from her thoughts. "Glad you're still annoying, kid," Right said, "Hey!" Mini replied, punching him in the shoulder before retracting her hand in pain, "GAH! METAL! FUCK! SHIT!" She shook her head again, "...Why do I remember this shit...?" she said, "...Is this what it's like for Mins...? Or, well, I guess more like the Stickmins, huh...?" she asked herself, remembering the 10.7 rating Miranda had. "What's wrong?" Mini asked, "Nothin'. Don't worry. I'm just tired...I need to go, though, you two have fun," she then left, heading to her room. She couldn't complete her mission, and today was the last day to complete her mission. She was panicking. Mars would be there at anytime to either kill her or...worse...soon, she heard the cocking of a gun... Riley sighed, "Damn...I shouldn't be remembering this...this is...previous timeline stuff, right...?" She tilted her head back, looking up to the sky, watching the stars, "Who woulda thought a bullet to the head would hurt so bad, huh...?" She mumbled, watching the stars, "Sure is nice out here, ain't it...? No light pollution or nothin'..." she then heard footsteps sprinting nearby, "Who the fuck?!" she pulled out her gun, looking around, "Who's there?" she called out. Next thing she knew, she was walked over the head. She dropped to the ground like a sack of potatoes, seeing a group walk in, military clothing draping their bodies, "Shit!" she thought, but she couldn't do much as she felt dizziness trying to get back up. As soon as she could get up, still stumbling from daze, she tried the door, but the handle was locked. She reached for her walki, but found it gone, "Shit! I left it!" she felt so dumb, but she could yell at herself later. She stumbled her way to another entrance, attempting to warn the clan. The military found them, and if she wasn't quick, Mini would be taken. She eventually got herself to the front, finding Sven and Burt chatting outside, "Huh?" Burt called out, noticing Riley first, "Th-The...Mini...she-" she started as Sven made his way over, "Woah, woah, pace yourself," he said, grabbing hold of her, "Vhat happened?" he asked as he brought her to the door, "Th-The...Military...they found us..." Riley mumbled out. Sven looked at Burt, quickly passing Riley over to him, "Take her to the med bay, I'll find Miranda," Burt nodded, the both of them rushing inside and going their separate ways. Mini was still in the cafeteria, working on her code, when Sven's voice urgently came on over the radio, "Miranda! Military are in the base, vhere are you?!" he asked, "Oh shit!" she quickly stood, grabbing her laptop and making a run for it, "I'm leaving the cafeteria now, I'm heading to the armory!" she called out. As soon as she was there, she found a barricade of military personnel blocking off the hallway, "Oh shit," she was given options; Flee, Timmy Gun, teleporter, and Surrender. She choose to flee, quickly spinning around to rush away. She was then promptly shot in the head, bringing her to the fail screen. She looked over to Henry and Harriet, Henry avoiding her gaze, and Harriet looking over with sadness, but a small twinge of hope in her eyes, "Hey..." she meekly called out, "...go back, please..." Harriet nodded, pressing retry, Henry hastily doing so himself. Mini closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, and pressing retry. She found herself running into the blockade again. This time, no options came. She felt panic rise in her chest, what happened?! Where are her options?! Soon, a flash grenade was flung around the corner, blinding her and blasting a high pitch ring in her ears as she covered her eyes, before being dragged around the corner, a hand gripping tightly to the woman before loosing stability. When her sight came back to her, she saw Riley, weak but still trying to drag Mini away, "Woah, woah, Riley, are you alright?!" Mini asked, worried, "I...think I'm concussed but...I'm fine..." she said, "We gotta keep...keep moving," she said as Mini shifted to let Riley use her as a crutch, "How did...how did you know I was in trouble...?" she asked, "...I dunno..." Riley asked, confused herself, "I felt like somthin' happened to you..." she said, still a bit out of it but starting to slowly come out of her haze. Slowly. She and Mini made their way down the hall, hearing gunfire from both her men and the military group who had entered the building. They eventually ran into Burt, who was looking for Riley, "I barricaded the med bay, how did you...? You know what, doesn't matter, we can all hide out in the med bay, c'mon," he said, "Yup," Mini said, following the tired man. As soon as they were in, Mini helped Riley to a bed as Burt barricaded the door again, "I still don't understand how you got past this, Riley..." Riley groaned, "Fuck you, that's why..." she mumbled, "Rude..." Mini said, "Sorry..." Riley mumbled, putting a hand over her face. Burt looked over to Mini, "Got any weapons?" he asked, "That's why I was heading to armory...they predicted that, though..." Burt nodded, "Hey, at least we're getting known enough the military's after us again," Mini sighed, "Yeah, guess you're right." Mini sighed, putting her face in her hands, "...We might have to go with the airship plan Sven suggested," Mini shook her head, "I've already told you both, no." She sternly said, "...N-Not again..." she then said after, her voice breaking slightly, "...I can't loose everyone again..." then Riley spoke up, "You ain't loosin' no one, princess..." she said, head pounding, "With our line of work we can't exactly not die..." Burt then stood, "Speaking of not dying, I'm going to take a look in the other room and see if there's anything we can use for Riley," Mini nodded as Burt took his leave. The room was silent for a moment, before Riley spoke, "You knew all the faults with that airship, right...?" she asked, "...Yeah..." Riley then moved her hand, looking at Mini as she attempted to prop herself up, "You can fix what was wrong with it the first time...I don't know much 'bout how it crashed, but whether it was a breach or something busted, you can fix that, right...?" Mini pulled her knees to her chest, "There wasn't anything that could've been done to stop it...he came in through the windshield..." Riley sighed, "That Stickmin you were pissed off at...Henry, right...? He who you're talking about...?" Mini nodded, "Wasn't he the previous leader...?" Mini shook her head, "Technically...but he joined to betray us..." she said, "Huh..." Riley then looked at the ceiling, "Look, Miranda...I ain't gonna sugar coat it...we might have no choice...the clan's out growing this building, the C.C.C. are gonna be hunting both of us, you've been kidnapped and locked up by The Wall, and the military's found us...we don't have much other options at this point...a week ago we might've been able to relocate, but we have too many eyes on us..." Mini listened, although didn't turn to her, simply stared at the ground, "I can't exactly tell you what to do, but you're gonna have to ignore your fears here...there's lives on the line..." Mini sighed, "...I'll think about it..." Soon, Burt returned and began patching up Riley's head, then handed her some pain meds, "Hopefully this helps with the headache. The gunfire soon ceased, the group running past the med bay as they retreated, allowing Burt to remove the barricade and let Mini out and real medical professionals take care of Riley, "I'll come check on you tomorrow, Riley...and thank you, for everything today," Mini stated, "Of course. G'night Mins," Mini nodded, "Night," and began back to her room, laptop in tow.

It's been a few days since the attack, and Miranda gave the go ahead to rebuild the airship, with some improvements. Despite how afraid she is to be up and flying again, she also knew what Riley said was right. There's lives involved, and they can't just sit around here like sitting ducks. Only problem is that it was expected to take a little under a year for it to be finished, just a bit before her 20th birthday. They'd have to bide their time and lay low. Riley and Mini walked down the corridor, quietly. Riley typically liked the silence, but today she could feel the tension and anxiety Miranda was feeling, "...You alright, hun?" she asked, looking over to her friend, "Hm?" Mini hummed, snapping out of thought, "You're so tense I can feel you pinning your shoulders. Probably hurts after a bit, huh?" Riley said, smiling softly, "Oh, yeah, sorry..." Riley sighed, "'M sure everything will be alright. It ain't gonna go smoothly, not with the military knowin' our whereabouts, but it'll be alright." Mini sighed, "I'm sure, but it still freaks me out..." she said, "...something interesting I've noticed..." she started, "You aren't acting the same from when we first met," Riley looked over, confusion washing over her face, "Whadda mean?" she asked, "You're deviating from all the things you used to say or do...like when we first met. You recognized me...you asked me if we've met before. You didn't do that the first time, you acted like you didn't know much about the Toppat clan..." she said, Riley thought for a minute, "I did, huh?" she said, before shaking her head, "I've noticed that, too, to be honest..." Mini tilted her head, "I keep...I dunno, remembering things I really shouldn't. Like...if you asked me what your daddy's face looked like, I betcha I could describe it in some pretty deep detail...but I ain't never seen his face," Mini shrugged, "Tell me then. What's my dad look like? Reginald, I mean" Riley thought for a moment, "He was a shorter man, wouldn't he? Like, not short short, but shorter than the rest of the crew. Typically wore nice suits and such...only thing that kinda broke that 'clean, pressed look' was his mustache, that thing was ragged," Mini listened intensely, "He had gray eyes...like you. Honestly, you two had a lot in common, but y'er darker skin than him. That man was pretty white for a man that close to the sun. Seriously, did he ever tan?" Mini stopped her, "What about Right...?" Riley thought for a moment again, "That one's kinda...skewed for me...I remember him in two different ways..." she explained, "Sometimes he's robotic, sometimes he's not...I dunno why," Mini shrugged, "Depends on what Henry does. If Henry fights him at most points during the older Toppat days, my pa ends up pretty badly hurt...I don't really remember my dad eating much during that time..." Riley nodded, "I see...one thing I vividly remember is I was more afraid of your dad than your pa. Despite Right's protectiveness of ya, I very vividly remember being threatened quite a few times by Reg..." Mini looked over at Riley, "I don't remember that...? Why did he threaten you...?" she asked, confused, "O-Oh, uh, you weren't there, i-it was, uh- during, um- uh- d-during...our heist days! Yep! Totally before I deviated from Collins!" Riley said, face growing a faint shade of pink whilst rubbing her back, "Um...ok...?" Mini said, confused, "What the hell was that, Riley?!" Riley thought to herself, "...There's one memory that I think I'd like t'keep buried in the back of my mind..." she said, "Oh yeah?" Mini asked, "The spaceship explosion..." she said, quietly, "O-Oh...right..." Mini said, the thought of even allowing memories of that 'ending' to flash in her mind, "You cryin' Princess?" Riley said, laughing, before sighing, "Can you do me a favor though?" she asked, tears beginning to tear at her own eyes, "Yeah?" Mini asked, "Make sure not to kick my ass too hard next time we meet, ok?" She said, jokingly, "Last thing I need is a reason to go back to-" Both women pushed the memory away, "...Thanks for not kicking my ass this time," Mini started laughing, "Nah, too tired for that!" Riley jolted, looking at Mini wide eye as the woman laughed. She'd never seen her laugh before, let alone smile. Mini turned over to Riley, slowing her laughter, "What?" she asked, confused, "Y-You're...laughing..." Riley said, still slightly flabbergasted, "Huh. I guess I haven't done that in a while, huh?" she said, thinking with a knuckle to her chin, "...Thank you," She said, smiling softly. Soon, someone called her on the radio, "Hey, uh, Mini? I think we need some help down at the warehouse. A groups fighting over where to put some boxes..." Mini grabbed hold of her receiver, "Alright, I'm heading over, thanks Burt," Mini then turned to Riley, "I'll see you later, yeah?" she said, clasping her hands together, "U-Uh...yeah, uh, def- sure!" Riley said, then watched her leave, "Someone's got a cruuushhh!" she heard Carmen behind her, "Huh?! What?! U-Uh, nah- we- uh, I- she-" Carmen watched her struggle, before laughing, "I'm giving you trouble, babe," she said, smiling, "Yeah, yeah, I know...sorry, all this shit's been stressful...with the military and shit," Carmen laughed, "And you don't do well under pressure, apparently?" she said, referring to Riley's stammering earlier, "No, I really don't," Riley honestly said, confusing Carmen slightly, "Then perhaps I was wrong about your thought on the leader?" Riley shrugged, "We're just friends, Carmen..." she said, smiling, "Besides, woman's way outa my league anyway...wouldn't be shocked if she already had a man," Carmen shrugged, "Or woman," Riley nodded, "Yeah..." she didn't know why, but the thought that Miranda might had a girlfriend urked her slightly...like, she was somewhat jealous of that person who doesn't exist. "Maybe get some rest, Riley. You look tired," Carmen said, "Yeah...night Carm..." Carmen nodded, "Buenas tardes," she said, "...that's good afternoon, right...?" but Carmen was already gone. Riley sighed, "Whatever..." she made her way to her room, locking herself in. Sitting at her desk, she pulled out her sketchbook, sketching in it while letting her mind run. She tried to think of specific things, like home or old cartoons she used to watch, but all she could think of was Miranda. She laughed in this dorky, snorty, adorable way. How her smile was hidden slightly by how she hunched forward slightly, almost like she was trying to involuntarily hide it. Riley smiled softly before she snapped out of her thoughts for a moment, thinking about how Carmen had approached her moments before. She looked at a mirror sitting on her desk, her face flushed with a soft red on her cheeks, pupils dilated slightly before shrinking slightly as the thoughts left her, "...shhhit..." she said to herself. She was in love, and she was just starting to realize it. She hated it, to be honest. She said it earlier and she'd say it again; Miranda was way out of her league. Riley groaned into the air, "God damn it, why..."
